He didn't use a barrier between my house's wood exterior and the patio install. He splashed concrete on the side of my house and windows and left concrete waste on the side of my house. Horrible experience. So once again, as a follow-up, I am now experiencing another problem with this company's craftsmanship. My patio is now growing mushrooms. That's not supposed to happen. This company has yet to make this situation right. Honestly, a reputable company would have refunded my money so that I could higher someone who knows what they are doing. This is so disappointing.

We hired Stoney Brook R&D LLC to do an addition for a new kitchen and bathroom in July 2023,…read moreincluding screened in porch and exterior siding. Stoney Brook started the work, initially, okay but as time went on the work became sub-par and he kept delaying and giving us excuses. By end of January 2024 Stoney Brook had collected from us the full amount, totaling $83,000 and walked away from the job leaving us with a leaking roof and damaged ceiling; plumbing & electric not finished; no siding, No basement access door, and incomplete screened-in porch. The work that was completed as very poorly done. Walls wavy. floors unleveled. Sheetrock horrible. We had to pay other professionals over $25k to finish most of the big items but some we will have to finish on our own because we ran out of money. Very shameful to take advantage of honest people. We are embarrassed that we gave him all that money and trusted that he will do the right thing. Lesson learned.

After being in my home for 3 years, I uncovered some serious defects in my wood stove chimney, which was installed by the previous owner. I needed someone to pull the stainless steel chimney sections up and out of the roof and install a missing adapter at the base above the ceiling. Tim assured me that he would inspect everything once the roof was opened, and make any necessary adjustments to insure a proper installation. As it was a very cold day when he did the work, some shingles were damaged. He bought the matching replacement shingles and closed up the roof, and repiped everything from the stove up. He was courteous, neat, efficient, and is very obviously a skilled craftsman. I highly recommend Tim's services for anyone in need of expert chimney work.

We called Bennett from halfway across the country and they were at the house within an hour. They were prompt, professional, and friendly throughout the remediation process, and so we decided to contract them for the restoration as well. I never thought I'd be sad to see a restoration company go. The Bennett guys were like family by the time the work was done. Yes, the quality of their work is fantastic, but their communication and thoroughness is what won me over. Hopefully we'll never need them for remediation services again, but I'd never hesitate to hire them for restoration.

Carpentry, caulking, painting, tile work, flooring, electrical work, plumbing--everything works as it should and looks great. - Problem-solving.
