I'm really pleased with Hayes Services! Communication has been great, the quality of work has surpassed my expectations, and the team has been pleasant. I will certainly hire them again. After a long list of poor experiences with other vendors in the area, Hayes Services (and Jake specifically) has been a breath of fresh air. read more

Jake and his team were absolutely amazing! What hard workers, so kind, clean, and efficient. We live in an old 1800s house, which comes with all kinds of quirks, one of which being bad ceilings. Jake tore down the old, leveled everything out, and sheet rocked two rooms for us. Worth every penny. We will be returning for all the "quirks" our old house has to offer. Thank you!! read more

Jake fixed a few rotted boards on my front porch. He was very professional, communicated well, and took a lot of time to get all of the details right. I would definitely hire him again. read more

Hayes Services are professionals. They are courteous, knowledgeable and hard workers. I had some lawn work done the other day and Kody did a better job on my lawn than anyone I have ever used. They return calls promptly, their pricing is fair and they show up when they say they will and are prepared and on time. They are a real find. read more

Really nice work spot refinishing my wood countertop island. It has been stained by colored window clings (aka Satans Stickers) and needed to be sanded down to the wood and refinished to get out the stains. He did a really careful job trying to blend in the patched area for a reasonable price! And he pleasant and super responsive to work with. read more

We are so pleased with the quality of his work! Reasonable AND he came when he said and completed the job beautifully. Jake and his assistant installed three heavy storm doors for us and did a tremendous job. He had to put the door knob fixtures together and attach to the doors. He worked until 9:30 at night to get the job done. He will be our go to guy for all other work we need completed. Next on our list is to install a couple ceiling fans and we won't go out for quotes because Jake offers the best value. Thanks again Jake. Regards Tom read more

I needed many things done--trim painting, lichen removal, etc, etc. I'm glad I called Jake. He showed up on time and did excellent work very efficiently. Communication throughout was very good. When it started to rain he didn't try to push on with the painting but will return to finish when dry. And he's a nice guy to boot. I trusted him in my home. After dealing with a string of ne'er-do-well handymen he was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommended without reservation. read more

I had several cheap interior doors replaced with solid core ones. Doors needed to be purchased, cut to size, and hung. Installations were timely and very professional. The price was very reasonable for the work done. One easy follow up was needed and completed for free. Great professional communication, no upsell. I highly recommend. read more

We bought an outdoor swing/rock wall/slide combo for our granddaughter. Found Jake on Yelp. What a caring, kind, person! He arrived on time, worked on the set without hesitation and completed the job on time. He was professional, thorough, and very detailed as he assembled the hundreds of parts. It was a huge outdoor set. Jake was reasonable on pricing, and we decided to tip him extra for his efforts. I highly recommend Hayes Services for any handyman services. We will certainly use him again. read more

I highly recommend Jake if you need a job done! I needed someone experienced with carpentry and siding removal to remove some ceiling panels and repair a wooden frame that had came apart. I found Jake through a Yelp search - he called me within 15 minutes of inquiring and quickly set up a day that worked for us both for a quote. He arrived promptly, inspected the job and offered a very reasonable price for the repair. Great communication and professionalism throughout the entire job. Honest, fair and knowledgeable - I definitely plan on using him for future projects or repairs and will recommend him if anyone I know is in need of a handyman. Thanks again Jake! read more

Our bed frame collapsed and needed help to assemble a new bed. Jake was really quick at responding and helped complete this task the very next day based on our request. I would highly recommend Jake's service. read more

Jake did a great job with skirting my mobile home. He fixed my front door as well. I'm so happy with his work that I'm planning my next project. He does what he says he's going to do. He also doesn't make a mess. I've hired people in the past that I've paid to also cart away the old & I've had to do some of it myself. It also takes me time to clean up after them. Jake left everything in good condition and was respectful of my property. I'm definitely using him for my next project. read more

I was looking for a contractor to do some work around our house and out of the 5 requests, the only one that responded was Jake. He responded within minutes of my request. He showed up to look over the items I needed done and within a few hours he had provided me with a quote for both the labor and materials. Upon agreement he ordered the materials and told me the date and time that the job would get started. The work was done precisely to my needs in less than 3 days. It started on a Friday and was completed early Sunday, yes he and his team worked over the weekend. Not seen by many contractors in this day and age! I would recommend Jake to anyone of my friends and neighbors. As a matter of fact I've asked him to handle another job for me and I look forward to having him onsite again. read more

We had a lot of small projects for Jake to do and he did a great job on them all. EXTREMELY SKILLED, PROFESSIONAL AND ACCOMMODATING!!! I found myself in a jam trying to assemble an adjustable basketball hoop. Called the product manufacturer hotline and they told me that none of their assemblers actually do the model & conversion kit that we purchased. I found Hayes Services on Yelp and gave Jake a call on Thursday evening. I explained that I was really hoping to have the hoop up for my six year old son by Saturday. I wasn't expecting we'd find someone to do it on such short notice but Jake went out of his way to drive 40 minutes on a Friday night after 5 pm to help us out. Jake made assembly look easy and came through in a big way for our family! He even installed two solar lights onto our garage after doing the hoop so we'd be able to play at night. We can't recommend him highly enough and definitely will be our "go to" for future projects. Thanks Jake and Hayes Services! read more
