He was a bully on the phone and was rude. I didn't even bother to explain that I have health issues and sitting with someone for that long can be very tiring. Plus most the time when these guys come they keep pushing, pushing, pushing for you to sign a contract and I didn't want that going on either, especially if I was tired or not feeling well. So he said make a choice! So I said no thanks and appointment was canceled! They lost money. Probably a good thing seeing all these reviews about them! And the appointment setter wasn't very pleasant either. The way the manager talked on the phone I wouldn't want to do business with someone like that!

After examining our crawl-space attic, we found we had water dripping in, icicles formed, crystallization, and black mold. We immediately called Suburban. The next morning 2 workers arrived and assessed the damage, never once acknowledging the mold. It was determined they would come back in 2 days (Monday) to replace the ridge vents. The owner sent a contractor on Monday to also assess the damage inside of our house but nothing could be done at this time until it was determined that the roof was no longer leaking. 6 days after this issue started, I reached out to the owner again only to receive a letter stating this was an act of mother nature and there was nothing more Suburban would do for us. Not once did the owner take the time to pick up the phone and speak with me -- how unprofessional! We live in Upstate NY, we are supposed to get ice and snow but we are not supposed to have inferior work performed when we hire a contractor. This has caused quite a problem in our house.

The large crew arrived dressed in company uniforms and brought lots of safety equipment. They did a fantastic job! In one day, they ripped off the old shingles, replaced all the old plywood, and installed a beautiful new roof. They also did a great job cleaning up around the house. They were quick to respond a fix a portion that needed a little more care. They inspected one year later and called several times to make sure there were no issues. Everyone who works there is very friendly and customer service is in their culture.

I had to reach out about 10 days after they did the estimate to check on it and they said oh he's on vacation so I never got an estimate from the first gentleman then they offered to send another estimator out and he gave me a completely different solution to the problem I was having so the one representative said to do one thing and the second representative said to do the opposite thing. A long period went by and then I had to make another call to check on the new estimate.
