I had some cosmetic damage to my car from a…read moreleaky pipe in the parking garage where I work, and I went to Scott to see if a detailing would take care of it or if the panel needed to be completely repainted. He took out his power washer and buffer on the spot and got almost all of it off right then and there in about 5 minutes, then explained what it would take to really get the rest of the staining off, with a decent quote to do the whole car. I had the property manager of my work building call him to pay for the service, then Scott got me scheduled on a weekend, picked up my car first thing in the morning, drove it to his shop for the job, and drove it back when he was done. He was very communicative and honest, quick to respond to my texts, and knows his stuff. When he brought my car back looking almost brand new, I fell in love with her all over again. Scott walked me through everything he did, recommended how to keep it looking nice, also pointed out how the paint on the hood is beginning to suffer some micro cracks from this awful heat and what to do about it. He also noted an oily residue on the engine that he couldn't completely get rid of and advised I might want to ask a mechanic about it just in case. Scott does good work, he's easy to talk to, punctual, and knows what he's doing. For the work he did and in this kind of heat, I'd say it would be worth every penny even if I'd been spending it myself. I'm going to want to have this done again next year, I know that for sure. She gets back to you quickly, provides answers to your questions, gives quotes on OEM and after-market products, and schedules appointments. On every occasion she got us appointments that worked great for me in regards to day and timing. I mean almost immediate appointments were scheduled after receiving some good news -a quote that was easily $100 lower than a competitors price for the passenger window. A few hundred dollar difference for the windshield too. I only learned that when I was mistakenly provided a windshield replacement and calibration quote from competitor when I had asked for price on passenger window. On both recent occasions the service actually came directly to my location. Ryan called as anticipated, notified me how far out he was and arrived within the time expected. From start to finish he got the damaged glass removed, replacements installed, finishing the repairs, then wrapping up by processing payment. Polite and professional all the way. For the windshield, it had been completed on Wednesday the prior week. Caleb, of the Calibration Crew, called to notify me he was on his way shortly after the installation was finished. He was given keys, took vehicle for a drive around the area and was prompt in completing the calibration process. ***BEWARE*** Review supported by text message screenshots with business owner Ricky. This shop has plenty of positive reviews, but I urge you to read the negative ones. They are very telling and reflect the experience I had. BUYER BEWARE!!! Scheduled window tint for July 26, 2025. Told it would take 3-4 hours, quoted $450. Spoke to the owner Ricky. CC/cash is OK, get discount w/ cash. Drop car off 7/26 10am. Nine hours later, 730pm the car is finally ready. Very poor communication throughout. Just before car is ready 653pm, told their card machine is down, can only pay w/ cash (apple cash, cash app, cash). Have to run to ATM that I was not planning on, and now it's $500. Car finally comes out, has water splatter all over the body around the windows, ask them to wipe it clean like how it was when dropped off. Ryan asks for a positive review and to include his name. I say I will but want to ensure all good first, had lots of bubbles in it. Less than 24 hours later, Ryan texts asking for positive review w/ his name included. Advise I'm waiting for all the bubbles to go away. They never do, every window has them. 8/11, advise bubbles still there, need to be fixed. No reply. Three days later, 8/14 receive a reply "yessir, just bring it in on Saturday and we'll take care of it." Ask to speak to the owner, Ricky. Ryan is extremely evasive and states he is unable to speak on the phone. Insist on speaking with the owner. Ricky calls me, apologizes for bad experience, says Ryan is basically fired, offers a $400 refund, but prefer to fix the tint himself. Reluctantly agree for owner Ricky to fix himself, I can watch. Plan it for Sunday 8/17. 8/17, Ricky texts he's sick, will provide $400 refund Monday. Monday 8/18 709am, Ricky texts saying he's in hospital, will keep me posted and still provide refund. 8/21, follow up w/ Ricky, hope you're healing up, can we discuss refund? No reply. 8/29, I stop by the shop since Ricky won't reply to text/call. Told he's not there. Text him, he tells me to never come by the shop again, will give me full $500 refund via Zelle on 9/11 when he gets check from dealership he works with. 9/11 comes, no money, no text. 9/15, follow up via text. Ricky says "Yes, I will send you money by end of the day." Never happens. 9/17 follow up text, no reply. 9/19, advise Ricky he has until end of day today to send money or will contact BBB, Gary Harper, leave detailed review. New employee Cameron replies, Ricky will only offer to fix, no refund. The only option for a partial refund is to remove the jacked up tint he already installed. The offer is laughable and makes zero sense - very petty. This business owner and its owner Ricky have zero integrity and don't know the first thing about customer service. Sometimes when you're in business, things don't always go as planned and as a customer, how a…read morebusiness responds when things don't go as planned can sometimes be more valuable than if things went perfectly but the business wasn't professional or courteous. I brought my 2026 Tesla Model 3 here for some tint and things did not go as planned but Josh was super friendly and did everything he could to make the situation right. Below I describe my experience, which involves fully tinting every piece of glass on my Tesla, which is the most difficult vehicle model to tint. I wouldn't pass on Copperstate Motor Club solely based on the below review. The first go-around with the tint didn't turn out as expected. I had opted to tint my Tesla's six side windows, back window, sunroof, and windshield in the MaxPro MaxIR, which is their top of the line film. I wanted maximum heat and UV protection from the harsh Arizona sun, even though I was having the tint done in January. Josh was super friendly and communicative during the process and my tint job took all day. When I went to pick up the car there was a good amount of soap running down the sides of the car but Josh had free QR codes for the car wash near his shop. Even though the QR code didn't work for me, I was able to spray. the car down with some spot free rinse water to get the soap off. Fast forward to a few days later and I noticed some large bubbles on the driver side door and windshield not going away and then I noticed in other areas around the car, there were some dust particles and hair trapped in between the tint and the glass. I also noticed some hardcore streaking on one of the windows and some tint on the sunroof that didn't look like it was cut correctly as the tint didn't cover the sunroof fully. Josh re-tinted my side windows, which look good. He attempted to redo the windshield but when he put the film up, there was a nick in it so it was removed. He also wasn't able to redo the sunroof or the back glass, stating that he couldn't do any better than what was on there already. He was kind enough to issue me a full refund and also give me some additional car wash codes, and money toward my Uber ride. I thought that was VERY kind and excellent customer service. I appreciated his strong business acumen. He attempted to make the situation right and I really really appreciate that. I had since taken my car to Gilbert Tint Works for them to redo the windshield, the sunroof, and the back glass, which look good so far...the car is still curing so I'll know in a couple of days. One thing that Gilbert Tint Works pointed out was that the film that Copperstate Motor Club put on the sunroof had a weird blue hue to it. I also noticed that the windshield film, when it was on there, had a blue hue as well. We suspect that perhaps too much soapy solution was used. Copperstate Motor Club is a newer company and it appears they're still ironing out some kinks. Hopefully in the future they'll be great because the owner, Josh, definitely has the right business mindset.
