So the fact that I mentioned checking the manufacturers website was disrespectful ?…read more So saying check their website you might get a deal before purchasing is a problem ? Lmao smh you are going to kick me out of the store and try to justify that because I told them to check Simpson website for deals ? Smh that makes sense .. customer service is bs and as you can see they are full of themselves and not about customers. I was there buying parts a week before and guy said" when I take my hands off the bars my bike takes a hard left " and the guy at the parts counter was trying to convince him that is normal smh I would not recommend this establishment at all

Excellent customer service…read more I visited this dealership today for the second time in my life. There are several HD dealerships closer to my house but in both cases, they had the parts I needed IN STOCK. What I needed today was on back order through the HD website and the wait time was a ridiculous 21 weeks. I could wait for months or just I could just take a ride up there. But before I drove up, I called to see if the part was actually in stock. The person who answered my call said the parts guy was tied up with a customer. Instead of telling me to call back or dumping me into voicemail(I hate that!), he checked and confirmed the item was as present in the store. It was. Maybe my two experiences were exceptions to the rule. I don't know. They are what happened to me. I realize these were trivial events but trivial events are what builds customer trust.

I initially found a shop that told me they would need the bike for a minimum of 1 week and maximum of 2 weeks. I use the scooter everyday to get me to and from the train station so I can then commute into NYC daily. I could not afford to lose my scooter for that long. I also only paid 1,500 for the scooter, so I was trying to find a place that wouldn't cost me too much. After weeks of searching and having to manually jump my scooter each morning, I stumbled across City Cycles in Short Hills NJ right across the street from the Short Hills train station. I found and emailed the owner Sidi Traore. I explained to Sidi what the issue was and if he thought he could fix it for a reasonable price and if he could do it and have it back to me within a few days. He responded and gave me an idea on price and told me to bring it down and he would fix it asap. So I did. I dropped it off in the morning before work. By early afternoon he had diagnosed the issues and made all nessesary repairs. He emails me and tells me it's ready to pick up that same day. I was shocked. I took the train there after work to pick it up. When I arrived the bike was shiny and clean. Sidi said he gave it a bath for me. It looked brand new! He showed me the long list of repairs he made. All of which were in line with the ballpark estimate he gave me initially. I was extremely satisfied. My bike works as good as new again. Let me give you some insight on Sidi. You couldn't meet a nicer guy. He is polite and calm, and explains everything so well. You can tell he is so passionate about working on motorcycles / scooters / mopeds etc. His passion comes out in the way he explains the repairs and the bike in general. In fact, when he started the bike to show me all was good with it, his facial expression looked like he was listening to something. He pulls out his screwdriver and makes an adjustment on the spot. I asked what he was doing and he said he wasn't fully happy with the idle sound and wanted to adjust. Passion and caring! He told me the belt had a few hundred miles left on it before it would break. He told me not to worry and just drive it. He said he would order one for me, and when it does break, he would come out to me wherever I am and make the belt change right then and there. Sidi is passionate about bikes and his passion comes out in his work. His prices were super reasonable, and he got the job done in 1 day because he knew I needed the scooter to get to and from the train station daily for work. The convience of being across the street from the Short Hills train station was great. I live in Berkeley Heights. I was able to drop the bike and get on the train going to NYC. I don't give reviews often, but just had to here. Sidi is awesome!
