Precise Auto Tint - Tinted windows - Auto Glass Services Near Me - San Rafael, California

Since the frame of my inherited Honda Civic had been bent many years ago by an uninsured teen boy driver who hit the car when my mom was driving, I haven't been able to replace the condenser in the car without body work to straighten the frame. The next best thing I could think of to reduce the interior heat was to tint the windows. Enter Kevin at Precise Auto Tint & Audio! I took the car in last Friday after confirming price and timing on the phone. Kevin did an amazing, first rate job. He was clear about the law governing tinting, the lifetime guarantee, keeping the windows in place and giving the tint film time to adhere, and all. It's like my little old Honda is a new car. He also gave me a possible lead on a reasonable body shop nearby that may be able to help. This company is excellent and honorable and I had a fabulous experience. Thanks again, Kevin!!! read more

Thank you Yelp. Found Precise AT&A here, and when a place gets this sort of ratings, it's a pretty good bet they're outstanding... and they delivered. We recently got our new Golf done here, and Lu's thoughtful recommendations, friendliness and attention-to-detail were great. The quality and value were absolutely top-notch. Add a lifetime warranty, care products and offer to call any time with questions or concerns leaves you not only with a great product, but peace of mind knowing your car will be taken care of both today and down the road. This is the kind of place you hope to find, and when you do, you share it with friends and family for "Go here.. they're great" recommendations. Lu takes a lot of pride in the service and product they provide, and it shows. Thanks for a great experience, Precise! read more

I got my car tinted not to long ago, best thing ever! My car is black on black, AND leather seats during summer time I have to open my windows before even thinking about getting into my car, so I always had to wait till my car cooled off a tad bit. But getting tints on my car, best thing ever! I it keeps my car a LOT cooler during the summer time. And my windows are dark enough in the back, that someone cant just walk by and peer into my car saves me a lot of time, throwing stuff in my trunk. CHEAP, CLEAN, FAST! I am happy! read more

Lu & Kevin are the best. I have used them for many years with six different cars and trucks I get my car's detailed once a year and get windows tinted on cars as I purchase them. I would not trust anyone else. The price is fair for the quality of work they do and the products used to do the job. I tried others easier to book and less expensive but always had to be done again or worse the products caused damage I now always do it right with them read more

Professional, friendly and affordable! I've had both cars tinted here and highly recommend.

Would give Lu and his crew 200 stars! He has done our car, truck and most recently our Motor Home. In addition have recommended to a handful of friends who got the same results. The quality of the care and workmanship matches my OCD-ness! read more

First tint I've had done, and they did a great job at a fair price. They also patiently helped me decide what tint would be right for my car. Took about 3.5 hours for 4 full size windows plus the two little ones in the rear seat. Would gladly come here again. read more

There's a lot of options in the Bay Area to go for window tinting. This place had great reviews upon my research. I decided to check out the place personally and I met the owner Phuong. He made me feel confident that my car would be in good hands. Phuong provided many different options and made great recommendations. Needless to say, he earned my business. I decided to go with his recommendation on the type of tint and I left my car for him to work on. Before I knew it I received a call letting me know that my car was ready! This is exactly what I was looking for in a shop. Great customer service, quality materials, professional advice, and quality work! I am so happy with the final product! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone looking for quality work with excellent personable customer service! read more

I called to request a quote for three vehicles. Fhong told me Kevin would call me back. After a couple of days I spoke with Fhong again who assured me that Kevin would call me to discuss the quotes. After several weeks I still never heard back from Kevin. I'm glad business is that good for them but returning a phone call especially when I called twice and had 3 vehicles would've been the professional thing to do. It all worked out in the end because I ended up at a fantastic place. See review. read more

I brought my 2016 Audi A6 to get tint applied to a replaced passenger window. The tint was matched exactly. Also while there I got a light tint on front window to protect inside from UV rays. Lu is a perfectionist, he took the time to clean the front window thoroughly. After he applied the tint the first time, he was critical of some imperfection and immediately he redid his work.!!i have no complaints about his work or business practice. Be aware he is a bit hard to contact and his business location is a bit challenging to find. read more

I called to get an estimate on my car along with a few other places! They got back to me right away with a quote which was reasonable and close to home! Very efficient-and I am thrilled with my tint! We will bring all our cars there and I highly recommend! Give it a try you won't be disappointed! read more

The dynamic duo! These guys are the best. Lou and Kevin do things the right way. I've got all our cars tinted by them and even had full PPF on one of them. They go beyond what they promise. Kevin is amazing, efficient, and excellent at what he does. Even gave me free window cleaner for my new tint. He also works with a tint company that supports Cancer Society. His tint has a lifetime warranty and worth a little more, considering the quality of his work. While also supporting such a good cause. I'm so pleased with the results and appreciated he took his time(all day actually) removing my "bubbly tint"! read more

I had purchased a car last minute and as I do with every new car I buy, I needed the front end wrapped. I talked to them on a Monday afternoon and brought in the next day. The clear bra looks great and the complete detailing given to the car before I picked it up was awesome. I was always in the loop regarding the status of the car. When the day came to pick it up, it was raining cats and dogs. He offered a Sunday pickup which you just don't see in the auto industry. read more

The tinting looks fine. I gave this establishment 1 start because I am 99% sure my car entered their custody without a pretty good sized scratch on the hood, and did not come out the same way. I asked the proprietor about it and he got really defensive and questioned my accountability, saying I was trying to put it on him because "i was having a bad day". He then pulled out his phone and showed me a picture of my car with the scratch in his garage, saying that he "knew I was going to try and blame him" so took a picture. Not sure what that was supposed to prove other than that there was now a really big scratch on my hood. All in all, he seemed incredibkly shifty about it, and I really did not appreciate my accountability being called into question. It came off as rehearsed righteous indignation. As I said, I am 99% sure I left him the car with no scratch, but there is a 1% chance the scratch was there, or maybe some random person ran up and scratched it while it was in his lot. read more

Lou was the man! He hooked it up for a reasonable price and killed it at the tinting for sure! My Prius went from super not hip, to moderately hip thanks to Precise Auto Tint! He even gave me a complimentary iPhone horn to boost the sound from my iPhone when I am out and about! Yessir read more

I just had my car done today. It's a black Honda Fit. I uploaded pics. They did a great job. Took me in last minute and even stayed open late to get it done. Their prices are the best I've come across. The materials they used were high quality. And the attention to detail on the application of the tinting was amazing. And they offer really amazing guarantees on their work. I highly recommend going here if you live in Marin. read more

This shop does high quality work, at a fantastic value... period! When it comes to my cars, I am highly critical, and have an eagle eye, so if I don't get perfection I'm not happy.
