We had a very good experience with Marin Auto Glass on Saturday. We dropped our Polestar off at 11 for a new windshield. We figured it would take 2-3 hours till it was done. It was raining pretty good and these guys were kind enough to drive us a few blocks away to a restaurant. We were so thankful! As we finished lunch we hoped the rain would ease up so we could just walk back. But, just as we were paying for our lunch, Marin Auto Glass called and told us our car was ready! Replaced front windshield due to being sandblasted and pockmarked from regular road driving. Called and made a next-day appointment, dropped my car off, and less than two hours later it was ready to go. They leave black painter's quick release tape on the top of the windshield to remain in for 24 hours, after which you can peel it off. Be ready to stay way from a car wash for a few days so the seal can fully cure. There were no hidden or additional fees. I recommend. :) read more

Correction, they didn't use Toyota manufactured glass this second time around. I assumed they would because of my first experience. This time they used a Fuyao windshield instead. I'm was disappointed and confused why this occurred. Marin Auto Glass let me know their request for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) was denied by the insurer. I called the insurance and they let me know Safelite Solutions handles their glass claims. Safelite didn't have documentation from Marin Auto Glass that they requested OEM. They did say Original Equivalent is the default for claims, unless their is a specific request for OEM. The first time I used Marin Auto Glass, I did request a Toyota manufactured windshield. So it may have been my fault the second time around. My advice, regardless of where you shop for a replacement windshield, is to request the OEM from both the vendor and the insurance. The other update worth mentioning is I requested a returning customer discount on my $500 deductible, and was granted $50 off. Thanks to Said for arranging this. I'm changing my review back to a 5 stars because my only negative experience was the lack of OEM, which may have been an oversight on my part. Learn from my mistake... read more

5 Star prices for 2 star service. Was quoted one price on the phone, given a higher price upon arrival, and then the price magically went up again once the work was completed. Lots of adhesive left on the exterior of the car, and on the trim. Some scratches on the clear coat. I would not come here again or recommend this place to others. read more

While changing the wiper blades, I accidentally bumped the blade-less windshield wiper arm and caused its metal hook to smack the glass of my Honda Pilot. What started out as a small crack quickly spread, and a replacement was in order. Marin Auto Glass was able to replace the windshield on short notice and in a couple hours, and they even re-affixed and re-routed all the glass-adjacent items (FasTrak, dash cam, etc.). The new glass looks perfect! They were easy to work with and came in at several hundred dollars less than Safelite mobile. I'll no doubt be returning to Marin Auto Glass eventually, but hopefully not for the same mistake! read more

They were able to get me in right away and did a professional, efficient, and affordable job replacing the windshield, including going the extra step of taking the car to the Mazda dealership to assist with an issue recalibrating the review mirror.
