They no longer go to your location in Santa Rosa Ca., so I went to thier location for a chip repair, they barely did anything and charged my insurance company, now there are spidering in the glass, and I was told I need a new windshield, what a scam

Playing their little "call the manager" game.

DO NOT waste your time or money with this company. They do poor work, and do not stand behind it. So I heard their corny TV jingles, and they must have worked. When I finally needed a new windshield due to a crack - after seven years - in my Jeep Wrangler, I called Safelite. I paid a total of $554 including the OEM replacement glass. Within three days - I kid you not - three days after the repair I had two running cracks in the new windshield over 6 inches in length. They sent a guy to my house who spent 10 minutes arguing with me that these were not their fault. Then they played this little comedy routine, where he took photos sent them to a guy who I overheard on the phone saying "I'm driving. " The other guy was supposed to be his "quality service manager", a.k.a. his buddy, who said he'd looked at the photos that they would not honor their warrantee. As I'm writing this review, I notice that their rating on yelp is a 2.4 with so many negative reviews. I wish I'd looked at Yelp before I had anything to do with them. Learn from my experience and all of the other people that have had a terrible experience with this company and call someone else. Do not get ripped off by Safelite. Corporate, as you read this and all the many other negative reviews, you should think about what your terrible customer service is doing to that snappy brand you spend so much on.

Guy greeted me outside as I arrived. He was very inviting and welcoming. Inside Jeffrey got right on my paperwork immediately. He explained the cost for dealership and aftermarket glass cost and how it would affect my insurance deductible. The shop is clean. I saw them Covid clean while I watch TV in the lobby. Appointments aren't necessary but I highly recommend one to be sure you get in. It is located near the San Rafael Canal district. There is really a considerable savings in the cost out of pocket from what AAA charges for my deductible and and using Safelite. Safelite saves me hundreds of dollars and they have a lifetime guarantee on the windshield for as long as you own my car as I remember. Great overall customer service. From the people that booked the appointments to my time and date changer, everyone was nice. Be aware no shuttle service.

Based on my experience, I now know why Auto Glass Now has solid reviews on Google, starting with Kealie in the front office, who has impeccable customer service skills--she's professional, kind, warm and helpful both on the phone and in-person. She was on top of communications with my insurance company and helped me deal with a complicated supplemental claim. Martin, the service technician who completed the glass replacement, did a great job (swept out all of the shattered glass in the back) and made sure I understood what not to do in the first 24 hours. It was pouring rain when I left the shop and I'm happy to report that there is no leaking whatsoever -- YAY! It's not often that I have positive experiences dealing with automotive service providers, which is why I wanted to share my experiences with Auto Glass Now -- I'm a fan and 10/10 recommend.

Yes, there are several mobile repair operations around the bay area, but how good are they? It seems like you never know who's going to show up to fix your windshield. So I found Bob Santini here. Had never heard of him and really wasn't sure if he was for real. But the reviews convinced me to give him a call. Bob returned my message quickly and asked about my insurance coverage. I'd assumed that it wasn't worth it to report it to my insurance company, but he said that many people have policies with small deductibles for windshields, vandalism, etc. It turned out he was right! I called my insurance company and not only was my deductible $100 instead of $250, but Bob Santini was on their list of preferred repair people! Less than 24 hours later, Bob came to my place of employment (exactly when he said he would) and replaced my windshield. I learned that he has 30 years of experience and does mostly commercial work. He doesn't need a lot of new business, but despite that, he was always prompt and professional. And, oh yeah, he saved me hundreds of dollars. I gave him a check for $100 and he was on his way. Bob Santini represents everything that is great about Yelp. Highly recommended.

He said he could fix it, but not while it was damp; to let it dry in the sun, then put tape over it to keep it dry until he could do the work. My friend did this right away, but I still put it off. Yesterday, I finally called Bob and we made a date for today. He was right on time, did the job beautifully, helped me with the insurance paperwork. He is a AAA authorized shop and they were glad to guarantee his work.

I would not recommend this company based on our experience…read more My daughter scheduled a windshield replacement. Prior to the installation, her vehicle did not have any known issues with wind noise or water intrusion. After the first installation, she immediately noticed loud wind noise. A technician returned the same day to attempt to address the issue. When she later drove back to Sacramento, the wind noise continued. A second technician came out and applied sealant, but the issue was still not resolved. My daughter notified him by text that the windshield still did not appear sealed and expressed concern because rain was expected. The message was read and not responded to. A third visit was required. The original technician returned, removed the windshield, and installed a new windshield using a different sealing method. During this visit, he expressed concern about the quality of the prior installation. He was responsive and polite, and this installation appears to be holding. Unfortunately, during the period when the windshield was not fully sealed, a storm occurred and water entered the vehicle, leaving the interior soaked. The vehicle required professional detailing at a cost of two hundred dollars in an effort to address the moisture and reduce the risk of mold. The car remains damp. On Christmas Eve, my daughter and the technician attempted to contact the office to ask how to proceed regarding the repeated installation issues and the resulting damage, but the office was closed for the holiday. The day after Christmas, I contacted the manager. Rather than discussing a resolution, he was dismissive, interrupted repeatedly, accused us of unrelated issues with the vehicle, and suggested the water intrusion may have come from another source despite stating he remembered the case well. When I expressed hope that the situation could be resolved professionally, without lawyers, the manager responded that people threaten lawyers all the time, told us to go that route, and then hung up the phone. Multiple failed installation attempts, poor communication, and unprofessional management made this a very disappointing experience.

Very unprofessional service and zero accountability, I would not recommend this business.
