JG Installers - Perfect after a year and almost 20k miles - Vehicle Wraps Near Me - San Rafael, California

I originally had my Rivian wrapped here three years ago, and it still looks great. I needed to come back because my car was hit and had to have part of the wrap removed for the repair. I was quoted a price over text, but when I arrived and he realized I had the SUV, not the truck, he immediately told me it would be less. He could have easily gone with the original quote that I already thought was fair, but he didn't. You don't find that type of honesty and integrity every day. Besides doing a great job on the new wrap, he cleaned up a few other spots on my car that I wasn't expecting to make sure he gave it back to me looking brand new. Plus, he took the time to walk me through his clay bar and wax process, which he definitely didn't need to do, but I very much appreciated and will be using myself at home. Can't recommend Juan enough. I'll be back in the future. read more

My SUV's paint was fading fast and I needed to do something to protect what was left. I Just picked up my SUV after being wrapped and it looks awesome! So much attention to detail and as he corrected or informed me of any issues. I am truly happy with his work and would highly recommend him and his services. I plan on returning for any work needed and left with a guide on how to care for our "new" SUV. read more

What an amazing job! My car looks great. Done very professionally with attention to detail. Highly recommend

Brought my Audi RS6 here for a fairly extensive chrome delete. Juan cares a lot about his work and has very strong attention to detail. Communication was very good and turned around the work on-time. read more

Juan applied a 3M clear "bra" to my new Model Y. Most importantly, the work is excellent. The seams are straight, even and barely visible, often hidden. Five stars for doing a great job. But wait, there's more. In addition to the front, hood and side mirrors, Juan applied pieces to the front faces of the rear wheel flares, a wrap around the rear bumper and small strips along the edges of all doors to protect them when opened in a tight spot. Five stars for going above and beyond. And finally, I stupidly hit my garage door trying to park in my steep driveway. That left 2 spots where the wrap was damaged. When I brought the car back to Juan's shop for him to look at, he said he'd repair the damage - at no cost to me. Then he did the work immediately, including touching up a paint chip. Again, the work was flawless and the repair is unnoticeable. Five stars for being a stand-up guy. I'm an old guy who does not suffer fools gladly (check out my other reviews) but it makes me very happy when I encounter a craftsman who takes pride in his work and does an epic job. read more

Had always tried using Ceramic Pro of San Rafael, but he was alway either too busy, like weeks or months out or he couldn't do project as he didn't have access to certain vinyl or PPF products. Ceramic Pro dictates what products and services franchises can offer. Wanted to use colored (black) PPF on the roof of my Audi. The panels were between the black glass sunroof and rear black hatch window. The owner warned me the product was new and untested by him personally but that he would order it, do it and it had a warranty. FREAKING AMAZING!!! Material is beautiful and service above and beyond. Thanks, Juan! Cars and Coffee is tomorrow. Too bad it's going to be raining. read more

Juan did a fantastic job installing PPF on my recently delivered 2022 Tesla Model Y. When we met, he took the time to explain the options, pros and cons of the different film brands and installation techniques he uses. I went with a full frontend wrap with 3M PPF which included the front bumper, front fenders, hood/frunk, door edges, and rear view mirrors. Juan also included the rear bumper and the areas in front of the rear wheels at no extra cost. The wrap was seamless and the car which he had for a little under 48-hours was completed on time. I would definitely recommend JG Installers for anyone looking to have PPF or a wrap installed on their vehicle. I plan to return to have him do a ceramic coating on the car soon. read more

6 stars if I could! First their work is impeccable. I literally could not tell my Tesla Model 3 bumper even had ppf on it afterward--and it's not a simple shape. Second, customer service is amazing. For a small shop they even had a loaner car available (sterilized with COVID situation). Third, Juan is extremely experienced (since 2006!) and knowledgeable and just a really nice guy. read more

Took my third vehicle to Juan's this time a Colorado ZR2, I wanted a little more protection before my off road trip to Utah and not only he did a great job but the product he recommended held up great after a two week punishment. A year later the truck still looks new. Thank you Juan. read more

I was referred to JG Installers from Blake's Auto Body. Owner Juan Gomez is awesome. I stopped to to get a quote from him to repair damage to my clear bra on my AMG. He repaired it.....for free! He said he could re-do it for a small charge or simply repair it for me on the house! I have never met a vendor who has offered to do any type of work for free. He repaired it and I gave him a bottle of whiskey for his time and effort. The repair he did for me was awesome. I appreciate his expertise and his commitment to providing outstanding service to his customers. If you want a highly experienced expert and an incredibly honest business owner to hire, Juan and JG Installers is the only place to go to in the SF Bay Area. I will only bring my cars to Juan from now on. read more

Juan did an awesome job wrapping my bumpers. His prices are competitive and his work is awesome. I haven't even gotten my car back, and I feel extremely comfortable leaving a review. This is a refreshing and rare business experience. One of those cool experiences where the person is so honest they tell you not to do certain things, instead of just taking your money. This is the kind of business that wants to do what is right so you develop a relationship and keep bringing car after car to him, versus just getting as much money as possible off of a customer once. Obviously the other reviews make it clear that his work speaks for itself. But he's an amazing dude, and it's been too long during this viral pandemic that I have felt that joy of supporting a local and great business and man. read more

I have a 2007 Lexus Hybrid SUV which I bought from the dealer. At that time, I had a protective wrap which lasted 13 years and saved me the cost and effort of waxing my vehicle. In March of 2020 it became evident that it needed to be replaced. The car looked worn out due to the deterioration of the previous wrap. I took the car to Juan and he not only changed the wrap, he did extras including cleaning and shining the wheels, and removing scrapes and scuff marks all around the vehicle. He also cleaned the interior seats at no additional cost. The car now looks like a new car! It came out much better than we had anticipated and I can whole heartedly recommend JG Installers. read more

I had Juan replace my clear bar on my Tesla roadster and the quality of his work is Absolutely Fantastic! What more can anyone ask for!!?? Give him a try ! You will be very Happy! I know I am! Thanks so much Juan. read more

Extremely happy with my new 3M wrap. Juan is a true professional who genuinely cares about his craft. I have had my Ford Raptor wrapped years ago and the attention to detail was not comparable. In addition, Juan offers great advice while being mindful of your time and the look you are going for. I highly recommend him for a wrap and/or clear coat finish. You will not be disappointed. I would give JG Installers a 10 if I could. Juan @ JG Installers is a breath of fresh air... so honest and takes great pride in his work. He took the time to educate me on all the different products and the very different qualities and warranties. I had no idea there were so many. I called JG after reading his reviews on Yelp. I needed help with a problem with my existing clear paint shield that my local dealer had installed on my car when it was new. There were large bird droppings on the hood and fender of my car that had discolored the clear shield. The dropping had been on my car no more the 24 hours. I contacted the original installer who told me that the 5 year warranty did not cover bird droppings and discoloration. Juan quoted me a very fair price to remove and replace the paint shield, plus use a higher quality product. He even had a loaner car for me and completed the work in a timely manner. The results are amazing, he is a perfectionist ! if you are wondering why there are no 3-4 star ratings its because Juan is a 5 star person who does 5 star work ! I cannot recommend him highly enough. read more

Juan takes a great deal of pride in his work and his reputation. He is concise, honest and clear on expectations. He isn't the least expensive but he is fair and he will go the extra mile and do more than what is asked. I got clear bra installed on the entire front end of my new conversion van, including a black vinyl overlay on the chrome grill which looks AWESOME (and was his idea). He was nice enough to buff out some scratches on the side of my van that had nothing to do with the job he was doing. You can tell Juan is a perfectionist and he is also a really lovely person. read more
