I called and the next day he picked up my car, made it completely spotless for a reasonable price (best I've found in Marin) and delivered it back to me promptly. Just got myself a new car and had gotten the dealership to do ceramic last time, this time I decided to support a local business and after requesting quotes from many different companies I decided on Edgar and I'm so glad I did! First of all, he's a really nice guy, and also he has an incredible attention to detail. He actually drove me home and picked me up the next day and I don't live close to his shop. I went with the 5 year ceramic coating on the body and wheels and he cleaned the inside too. I'm going to get him to do our older car too, detail and ceramic coating that I'm going to bring by this or next week. So my upstairs neighbor had some type of water leak and all this gross water dumped into my garage and all over my car. I was pissed...I just washed the car a couple day earlier and was prepping it for a Food-Drive benefit Car show. I reached out to Edgar and luckily he had a spot to put me in the following day! We talked in the past but I was still a little nervous. I've seen his work at a local car show and decided to take the leap of faith lol. I'm glad I did cuz when I picked up the car it look AMAZING! Even my car club members were blown away. Looked a lot better than what I dropped off. I was actually afraid that all the minerals built up from passing through a wall would stain the finish but Edgar got it all out and brought the car back to life! I hate to do leave a bad review for a small family type business but I feel I need to. Quick story, I just moved to San Rafael from LA two weeks ago and in need of a quality detailer that could do regular washes on my two cars. Both cars are pretty new, ceramic coated and perfect. I saw Edgar's reviews on Yelp so I reached out to him and set up an appointment for the next day. When I arrived he moved my car to start washing while I chatted with his wife. She was very sweet. Before he started I just had one request, to use clean soapy water and a clean wash mitt. Before I even finished my sentence he cut me off and said do it myself and handed me the keys. I had never been there before I didn't want any swirls added to my paint by using dirty stuff. I'm not picky, I just was being proactive to prevent damage. I live in Berkeley Ca. and had my car stolen and there was some damage. My insurance company wanted to total it as it was a 2012 Porsche Cayenne. Aside from a busted rear door that needed a body shop repair, it still looked pretty good to me. Yes, there were a lot of scratches which I couldn't tell how bad they were. I researched every detail shop in the East Bay, San Francisco, and Marin County. I went to Edgar's Auto Detailing and I am glad I did. First off, when Edgar greets you he is likeable right off. Plus, I told him I was impressed with all the comments I found on Yelp and Google. How about these scratches I asked. One body shop wanted to repaint the car, they said they were too deep to buff out. Edgar said, "Ninety percent chance I can fix them." No repaint. For $475 dollars I got back a car that looks new. That is inside, and out. Seats, carpet, dash, like new. Exterior scratches almost all gone. Very hard to find any. The Berkeley body shop wanted $20,000 dollars to repair and repaint. I think I can get the rear door fixed for about $3,500. Highly recommend Edgar. Not the cheapest, but he saved me a lot of grief. read more

Edgar is incredible and is very detail orientated. We had a car that was filthy. We had dogs in and out of the car. We had lots of kids eating food in the car. The seats had stains. We also disposed some Household Hazardous Waste with the car and one of the containers broke and we had a turpentine smell in the car. To say the least It was a scummy car. When we went to pick up the car. It looked like a brand new car. The transformation was absolutely amazing. I'm still in shock as to how clean, and how good that car smells now. A few other things I would like to say. Drop off was super easy. We were able to drop the car off on Sunday and slip the key in the door (just remember to bring an envelope). The car was ready on Monday. Super easy to get hold of Edgar Auto Detailing. We called on 3 different occasions and the phone was always answered.
