Horrible experience. Had my truck windshield tinted after I was assured there wouldn't be any ghosting. When I picked up the vehicle, sure enough, there was ghosting. This is an issue when too much heat is applied. Was told that this may disappear after it cured, but after a week it was still bad. Dangerous at night where every bright LED looks like 3. Confirmed there was ghosting with Zachary, but he said it's a defective windshield and wouldn't budge. They were even going to charge me to have it removed. Forget that! So I took the truck to OCDetailing where they removed the bad tint and did a fantastic job with a new one (without any ghosting of course). Anyway, beware! They say they have a satisfaction guarantee, but it's total BS! I'm $800 out of pocket. read more

They were so great to work with I went back to get tint after the dealer was taking forever to schedule it. They booked me the next day, matched the dealer price which was already pretty good, and the job was finished the same day. Once again they did a great job. I can't recommend these guys enough. read more

We live in Tibruon and our home has high ceilings and features lots of natural light. It got hot a few weeks ago, really hot and we are without air-conditioning. Jerry from Tint World came out and took measurements and gave us a great deal on film without tint to let in the light but keeping the heat out. His crew was professional and got the job done in one day. I will be taking in my Tacoma and Prius for tint soon too! if you're considering tint for your home or auto look no further than tint world! read more

I had such a great experience with Jerry at Tint World. From the start, his customer service was outstanding. He listened to my main concern, which was keeping the sun out of my toddler's eyes during rides, and then walked me through all the different tint options. He explained the differences between shades, heat-reducing films, UV protection, and even the ways tint could improve the overall look of my car. What I appreciated most was how patient and genuine he was. He never rushed me, answered every question, and made sure I felt confident in my choice before moving forward. The final result was amazing. My car no longer feels like a sauna on a hot day and I was honestly surprised by how much the tint transformed the look. It looks like a new car! If you are considering tinting your car, I highly recommend Tint World and especially Jerry. His knowledge, service, and attention to detail made the entire process easy and the results were better than I could have imagined. read more

Big shout out to Tint world!!!! Just received my new BMW X3 M50! Took it straight from the dealership in San Rafael to Aaren at Tint world in San Rafael. From our first conversation before I brought my car there I understood this is super high standard shop!! I have very high standard as it's not my first PPF experience but it's by far the best experience I ever had!!! Aaren and the team took amazing care of my car and less than a week I got it done with perfect results !!!! (And working with me on a great package deal for all the work!) I already highly recommend Aaren and his team to few of my friends and already they talking about scheduling their cars for a full wrap. I definitely will be a loyal customer for any other car I'll purchase in the future and highly recommend to all that interested from wrap to window tint. Tint World - X3 M50 2025 - Full PPF with ceramic coat and full window tint - Car Window Tinting Near Me - San Rafael, California

I stopped into tint world today in San Rafael, my daughter's 2003 silver Prius had an area of the roof where the clear coat was coming off. It's a tiny section, maybe 1x3 feet. I was concerned the job would be too small, boy was I wrong. Jerry the owner welcomed me to the showroom, offered me a free hot mocha and tour. It's called "tint world" but they do so much more, back up and dash cameras, auto alarms, led lights. The silver wrap would be a custom order with a minimum, but he had two kinds of black (matt and gloss) in stock which would be about 1/2 the price. They also have clear film for paint protection, and even a clear film that blocks heat for windows in your home or office. If you need to customize your vehicle or windows, go to TINT WORLD San Rafael today! read more

Called in for a quote on interior ambient lighting, they told me they would get back to me next day and asked to leave my phone number and car model. It's been three days and no call back, very unprofessional customer support. read more

Not very happy with these guys I called to get some HID headlights in my Toyota and never heard back from them. I simply asked how much would it cost to install and sell me the lights spoke with their sales person who in return told me he would have the installer call me never heard back from them. I guess I own a Toyota and not a Porsche I can't say I would recommend these people. read more

Made an appointment for 10 am on a Saturday morning. I was promised to have the car back by noon for a job to apply tint to the rear passenger window and the vent window (which were smashed in a break-in). The shop returned the car to me within an hour after I arrived. The job was nicely done, the price was reasonable, and the staff was courteous. A satisfied customer. read more

I took my brand new car to this shop to get a tint and the staff was very helpful with selecting which film to choose. I was in and out within a few hours and the car looks great! The material they use also helps with keeping the cabin temperature down which will be amazing as the weather gets warmer. I highly recommend anyone to visit this shop for any of your car needs! They offer a bunch of services like vinyl wrap and audio installation so I'll definitely pay them another visit in the future. Make sure to talk Aaren when you visit, he is the man! read more

Tint world is incredible. It looks really small from the outside but is massive inside. The staff are serious professionals and incredibly nice and understanding. Special shout out to Arren, who helped me find the perfect option the was best for my Porsche and Daniel was amazing shooting my car to make it look perfect. They really know what they are doing and genuinely care about the quality and level of service they provide. They didn't try and push me into what they already had in stock, they genuinely just wanted to help me find the best tint at an amazing price. I've been to a few different places for PPF's and Tints but never felt happy with the work enough to come back. Tint world has my business and as long as they continue to deliver the same quality I got on my GT4's tint, I won't be going anywhere else. Just watching them work is awesome, you see the experience and joy they have for what they are doing. read more

What a wonderful experience. Very clean and new establishment, Michelin grade customer service, 5 star quality work, responsive , respectful, and present. I have to say, good job boys. It's been a long, long, long time since I have had such good customer service by any establishment. Thank you for taking the que and addressing my daughter about your product, the grades of shades, and all that was involved. She had to adult up and I love that you didn't skip a beat when I said 'I'm Out' it's her car not mine! I can't wait to bring my other car in to get wrapped. Keep up the good work and don't let the Marin Karen's and Drakes change your wonderful dispositions. read more
