I Took my Tesla Y here to get the windshield tinted. I originally choose this shop because they advertise as someone who specializes in Tesla and also offer Xpel film. I want to start by saying the customer service here is really good. From start to finish the team here were very helpful and professional. Unfortunately, I'm giving them 3 stars because of the actual tint job on my vehicle was subpar and lacked the high quality I was hoping to achieve. When I initially picked up my vehicle, I noticed right away there seemed to be an excess amount of water still under the film along with bubbles and some other imperfections. However, after speaking with the tech he assured me this is normal and apart of the curing process. After waiting a month, the film still appeared to have a hazy look , along with some small imperfections like scratches and runs. I messaged the owner and he told me to bring it back so they could redo it free of charge. I was really happy to hear that. Unfortunately, when I took it back to have it redone, the owner told me he wasn't sure what I was seeing . And that most of what I'm pointing out is just part of the tint process. Now iv had tint done on all My vehicles. Iv never seen a tint job look like that. After the owner explained that if they redo the job there's no guarantee it will be any better. I ended up making the decision to just have them remove the film and get a full refund. No hassle with that part. I did take my vehicle to another shop, who redid the film with xpel as well. He took the time to answer all of my questions, gave me examples of how a tint percentage would look on my car and really took the time to pay attention to detail when doing the window tint. The machine didn't cut the tint exactly correct to fit the front windshield and he manually cut to make sure it was perfection. I came back for a 2nd time to tint my front driver's side since I replaced my glass window, and I needed to re-tint it. I had my tint done 20 days prior, and they an amazing job. Wait time was 45 minutes, but it was done in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend coming here if you want to get your car tinted. I got my windows tinted here and I completely regret it . My car would get out and I thought the windows getting tinted would help , but it didn't . I got the most expensive kind and it still didn't work. I noticed that they didn't do a good job of cleaning the window before they installed the tint . I noticed hairs stuck in between . my window also shakes when my window is halfway down now. I don't know what they did that loosen it . I got my windows super tinted. They said they would give me a doctor's number that give me a letter to prove I needed them tinted for a medical condition. It would help if I ever got pulled over by a cop . That is an extra $200 . Please don't do it . It is a scam . They give you a phone number to a " doctor " in LA .She does not give you a letter , but does call you to say she will. read more

First off, I'm not associated or affiliated with this business so my review is based on personal experience and honest opinion. Dario's Team has been phenomenal with their detailed services for my MYP. I was initially drawn to their business based on positive Google/Yelp customers' reviews and their status as Xpel certified shop. When I brought the car to them, I requested services only for full front PPF, ceramic coating and window tinting. However, Dario noticed swirl marks on my car's hood and rear passenger door, which was damaged by Tesla's service center on my prior service request. Rather than charging me the regular customers' rate from their in-house detail specialist, Dario suggested to just charge me the wholesale pricing to fix these two spots and I agreed to proceed. A few days later, he sympathized with my situation and he decided to remove this extra cost, claiming "I don't want to nickel-and-dime you." It is admirable for a car shop business to eat the cost for extra work during inflation. I appreciate his generosity, pricing transparency, and keeping his words true. Regarding service and communication, Daniel is my project manager and he has been responsive throughout. I decided to follow them on IG and I learned my car was highlighted in their stories, where I have my peace of mind that the car is being attended to. Plastic sheets were covered for all the white leather interiors during service and the car was not moved outside their facility to allow the PPF/tint/ceramic coating to adhere. Lastly, there's a complimentary two weeks follow-up appointment to check on the serviced quality and a car wash. Who still does that? Regarding quality, the team has done a superb job for all the services I requested. The two swirl mark areas are gone, the window tint looks incredible, the ceramic coating on my car is smooth like butter, and the PPF is wrapped over each panel gap. There are a few minor issues such as small bubbles/dust trapped in the windshield and missing PPF right at the corner of the grill. But overall, quality is superior to most tint shops I went to. I have a strong preference for supporting small businesses and want to emphasize that I did not intend to compose a review with the intention of negatively impacting this establishment. Nevertheless, my visit to this shop left me with a somewhat underwhelming impression. In the initial stages of scheduling and coordinating the tinting service, I found Sebastian to be quite responsive and accommodating. I ultimately selected this particular business due to their availability of the Xpel XR Ceramic Plus film, which was my preferred choice of film. The consultation process was smooth, as the staff provided helpful guidance in selecting the appropriate tint color. However, my less-than-satisfactory experience stems from the quality of the tint work. While The Tint Co did fix a crinkle issue on one of the windows (which was fixed on the third visit), they said visible debris trapped between the front windshield and the tint was within acceptable tinting standards. I must note that this debris is clearly visible from a distance of more than six feet. I recognize one of the images uploaded shows the visibility from 3 feet, not 6 feet, because of the camera on my phone, the angle to show the numbers of the measurement tape, getting the camera to be in the correct right angle (and not zoomed in) as outlined by the International Window Film Association (IWFA) and proof that the camera is at the beginning of the measurement tape and it's not pulled further than where the camera is pointed to. Edit (in response to Daniel's feedback): True I did sign off on the inspection but it was mentioned that it takes a full week to cure the windows and that imperfections should go away even after showing that debris on the front windshield. The IWFA (this is the same 3rd party industry standard the shop is working by) website also shows you the cure time it takes to do an appropriate review is days not the same day after tint. Lastly, when I mentioned right angle, it means you're viewing the window straight dead on (90 degrees) not trying to distort the image in a way as described by Daniel. It's the same language used in the IWFA guidelines, excerpt below: 4. The glass with applied film shall be viewed at right angles to the glass from the room side, at a distance of not less than 6 feet (2 meters). Viewing shall be carried out in natural daylight, not in direct sunlight, and shall assess the normal vision area with the exception of a 2 inch (50mm) wide band around the perimeter of the unit. 5. The installation shall be deemed acceptable if all of the following are unobtrusive (effects during visual cure should be disregarded): Dirt Particles, Hair and Fibers, Adhesive Gels, Fingerprints, Air Bubbles, Water Haze, Scores and Scratches, Film Distortion, Creases, Edge Lift, Nicks and Tears. Inspection may by made within 1 day of installation. Obtrusiveness of blemishes shall be judged by looking through the film installation under lighting conditions described in 4. After repairing the window, I decided for safety for me and my fam I should get some tinting done, urgently. They were willing and able to see me literally the next day, a weekend no less. Within about 15 minutes we had a full plan for the car, after they walked me through all their products with examples of each tint product. But here's the big part - I've gotten tinting done before, but NEVER had it completed without bubbles or wrinkles. No chance. But these guys laid down a perfect tint on all 8 glass panes. Totally flawless. No bubbles, creases, NADA. Now I just need to remember not to roll down my windows for three days lol. I was looking for ceramic tint for the heat rejection properties over dyed films. I am used to having my cars tinted with dyed films and this is a major upgrade for me. I already had an idea what percentage I wanted. I looked up various manufacturers 3M, suntek, and xpel. I decided to go with xpel. I saw tint co as an ad on Instagram (funny how IG became the new Yelp). I saw they had teslas in and out so they are very experienced in doing teslas and Tesla's strange number of glass they use. I made an appointment and then showed up at the appointment and Sebastian walked me around showing their tech's car parked outside. I decided with 20 fronts and 5s back. Since this was my only car for the day I had no choice but to wait at their waiting room. And then bam! A few hours later it was done! I immediately noticed the difference between the heat rejection. After spending a few days settling on the exact tint film to use, I created a project on Yelp to find the right place to do the job. The Tint Co came up and made the decision so easy. Dario was very prompt and friendly throughout the process. I had many questions on where to apply the tint and Dario was very patient in answering all my questions promptly. Dario did not play any games and made me a very reasonable offer that I couldn't refuse, so I secured my appointment with a small deposit to get it done. The tinting process was pretty smooth and straightforward. It took them about 2.5 hours to tint my SUV. While waiting, I walked to the nearby mall so it's a pretty decent neighborhood to kill sometime in case you don't have a ride to wait it out somewhere else. However, shortly after the tinting process, I noticed that there were two large strands of hair stuck in a very visible area of the tint. It was extraordinarily distracting.
