Our roof needed to be replaced. Two of our friends had good experience with PRC Roofing LLC, and they recommended the company. I called PRC Roofing in early May, and the owner, Nazaire, came to our house to talk about the project. We requested him to replace the fan in the bathroom because it did not work well. Nazaire gave us the total project cost two days later. We accepted it. The Saturday before the work started, Nazaire came to work on the bathroom fan. He chose a modern model with a LED light. The new fan makes the bathroom look more contemporary. The work was not trivial but Nazaire and one of his foremen did an excellent job. The other foreman Miguee Junior and the crew did a very good job on the new roof They installed new skylights, new pipe boots and vents, new vent for the kitchen fan, and other items. The chimney was coated and sealed with waterproofing. Workmanship is excellent. Although PRC Roofing does not install gutters, I realize they did some work on the gutter to make the system work better. They also cleaned up the gutter and the gutter drains. Nazaire and PRC Roofing LLC workers take pride of their work. They try their best to see the best is delivered. I had absolutely no issues with PRC Roofing. I got quotes from 9 roofers for our roofing project. One roofer estimated 20k while PRC and others came in around 11-13k so that right there spoke to me if their integrity. Second they responded to me within 24 hours. Which 4 others failed at...a tenth never even replied. Thirdly, only three roofers actually came to my house to do an accurate internal and external evaluation. This was a huge factor in us choosing to work with them. The reason is because we met them and liked his vibe, he was knowledgeable, he was the only one who changed out our sky light and colored all vent outs the same color as the roof. His proposal was neck in neck with another, and his in person visit and us knowing that he saw and was confident in fixing all issues and there were going to be no surprises for him made us choose them. From there the process was seamless. They did the entire job in two days, fixed everything, cleaned up after themselves and there was no property damage. I feel super confident now in our roof. I just had an excellent experience with PRC Roofing. I had multiple fascia pieces that were rotting at the ends and needed replacing, along with some architectural beams that I wanted capped with metal. Nazaire was the only contractor out of three that noticed these issues on his own and offered a long-term solution. While I'm convinced that the other two would also provide a leak-free roof for 10+ years, clearly neither cared as much about the look or the integrity of the structure. Nazaire's crew took advantage of a break in the rain last week and worked long days to finish the job quickly. Due to COVID, I was able to watch a lot of the work first-hand and saw that the foreman Miguel was a perfectionist, installing much of the fascia himself, and redoing the sheathing in an area when it got damaged during the fascia replacement. The crew left the whole area spotless each day. I also liked that Nazaire came by the site once during the job and after it was done, so the person who "sold" me the roof was there at the end. I chose a smaller company hoping that the crew that had earned great online reviews would be same one working on my roof. Finally -- check whether all your bids includes taxes! PRC was the only bid that included taxes, and was the best value when taxes were accounted for. read more

I found PRC Roofing on yelp. Returning here to report my satisfaction with their services. I initially got bids from three vendors but PRC was by far the most competitive. The difference in price ran as much as $6000. While I initially had some reservation about going with the cheapest, after Nazaire explained their process, I felt assured. Nazaire was always responsive, but never pushy. Once we committed by putting down half the $$, he was able to schedule us within a week. His crew was friendly, efficient and professional. Halfway through the work, they found out that some of our original plywood had rotted and went out to replace it. and worked late into the night to make up for lost time. PRC roofing recently replaced two roofs for me and I can Definately say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a contractor of any kind from beginning to end. During the bid process Nazaire gave me a thorough education of the roofing process and walked through his estimate in detail with full transparency of everything in scope. When I was ready for the work, he got me right on the schedule and gave me precise expectations of what to expect each day. Miguel and the team of maybe 5 guys took two days to completely replace my two roofs. Both days they spent the last 30 minutes thoroughly cleaning up my property of roofing debris. We received bids from 4 different contractors for a fairly large residential project (2 separate buildings, 100% plywood replace on 1 of them, 8 skylights). PRC's bid came in several thousand $ lower than the competition and Nazaire (the owner) also did a far more thorough evaluation and scoping out the work needed, including identifying a very loose gable and finding the source of a skylight leak, both of which went unnoticed by the other 3 contractors. Nazaire was really helpful as we navigated the choice of materials and so on. We knew very little about roofs going into the project, and he helped us understand the pros and cons of our various options, and in several cases steered us away from more expensive decisions.
