Came in for brunch today with family. Colleen was our server and she was great. She kept our drinks full which is always a plus! I had the breakfast pizza which was her recommendation and definitely a great choice. My brother got the crab cakes egg benedict, the eggs were well done which Colleen quickly got corrected. I really wanted to leave a better review but disappointed in the soggy french Fries and soggy calamari. I got take out. Ordered on line about an hour in advance for 6pm pick up. I do not know how long the food was sitting there but I picked it up exactly at 6 as requested. Further the boneless buffalo wings were not hot or spicy at all and the nashville chicken was overdone and again not at all spicy in the least. Really not happy. Prato 850 has a nice open space, and is nice if you are either coming for dinner or watching a sports game. I had ordered the Prato burger with burrata and fried avocado, and it was pretty good! (I originally had wanted to order one of their salads and feel healthy but that was a fail) My mom had the lobster rolls, but the bun was very hard (it was a bit over cooked) and so she had expressed that. The server and manager fixed the situation right away, and because the remainder of the lobster rolls were over cooked she had offered something else, but at that point we were in a rush and so we had to leave. Went there this weekend and was incredibly disappointed. Service was beyond slow (with no apologies from staff), meals came out at vastly different times, and what was most concerning was after mildly gagging on a piece of my meal, I pulled it out of my mouth to reveal a long strip of plastic that has somehow made its way into my dinner. They had a nice drink Menu, but i didnt try any of the cocktails. Although I hear The Caldo drink was amazing. For the food I had 4 different types of wings. I had heard great things about this spot and luckily they had a spot for reservation open so we came here for brunch. I arrived at the location with my friend on a rainy Friday early evening day. During Covid i thought for sure we would have had to make a reservation however luckily they had seating for two. We ordered a seasonal drinks and we were able to share I believe it was a rum drink and it was pretty sweet but it was overall great. My friend and I had a pretty rough week and we were so excited to just get out and eat some delicious food. We have been following the Instagram for this location for a while now and everything looked so good. We got to try the vodka sauce prosciutto pizza. I totally recommend this one. We also ordered the calamari I believe it was the trio. This came with the three different sauces to dip in. The calamari itself was so good and crunchy. Our server was absolutely amazing, he gave us our space ..for my friend and I to have our conversation and catch up- he always came at the right time. I do hope to go back and try more of their food. Our recent trip to Prato 850 was our second attempt at trying this place. I started with a margarita which was great- toasted coconut rim was DELICIOUS. My boyfriend and I shared the giant pretzel for an appetizer. Overall it was good..beer cheese fondue was lacking flavor though. For our entrees my boyfriend got the hot chicken sandwich. Oddly, the hot honey wasn't on the sandwich but in a pool on the plate which made the bun soggy??? I had the keto guido chicken dish which was alright...it was also swimming in a pool of liquid. I was surprised by the presentation of these plates...its as if everything was just thrown on. Completely the opposite of their nicely plated food they have all over social media. Our waiter was great- very attentive. It wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon so our food came out to us rather quickly. My party and I were very excited to try this place out, as we've heard such great things about the food here and the service. Unfortunately, we did not come close to the experience we had in mind. We had a mishap with the drinks we ordered. Two different flavored margaritas, a soda, and a round of waters. We got two of the same flavored margaritas, and no soda or waters. We were able to flag someone down to ask for the soda and waters, which were brought out not too long after that. After a sip was taken from one of the water cups, we noticed there was someone else's lipstick stain still on the rim of the glass!!!!!!!!!! We were all so disgusted. On a normal day, something like that is absolutely disgusting, but during a pandemic it's even worse and completely unacceptable! We let the waitress know. She very casually apologized and said it's hard to get lipstick off the glasses and brought out a new glass. We were very much grossed out at this point and debated leaving but we really were hoping the food would make up for it. When it came out, everything was fine. We were just so hungry; we were happy to eat. Towards our last few bites, someone noticed a small piece of plastic was baked into the giant pretzel we ordered!! As of this moment, we were ready to get our check and leave, not wanting to look back. We didn't see our waitress for a while. I'm understanding of that, considering they may have been short staffed, busy, etc. But we had just had such a horrible experience we were itching to get out of there! I've never been interested in leaving reviews before but this seems like something that needed to be brought to someone's attention because something as careless and irresponsible as this water cup incident should not be happening-- ESPECIALLY not right now!!!!
