Evan was once a professional, but what he did to me and my husband Jan 2012 is flat out unacceptable. I am retired and on a fixed income, and Evan gave me the sloppiest job I've ever seen in my 70 years. He recovered a sofa for me, and a chair for my daughter. My daughter gave him a negative review on Jan 9, 2012, and look at how his friends all came out to say he was good AFTER THAT. If you notice, no one did before. Why would that be? Does Evan not want you to see his bad review? The more people he can get to write now, the more it hides our legitimate complaint? If he was so good, wouldn't his friends have come out before and said this? Why does he only call them after a negative review? To hide it? Evan, you are showing you have something to hide. And for all of you who stepped out to recommend Evan, I would have too, prior to what he did to me. But how can you in good conscience say what you've said after looking at my photographs? We hired Evan Tsagaris and Prairie Interiors to reupholster a wingchair, and a sectional sofa. First Evan bought the material and would never give us receipt. Then when the furniture was delivered, we found staples in the material, a broken zipper sewn shut with black thread on a red sofa, uneven pillows and cushions that varied in sizes dramatically from height to width and depth. We paid him $3500 for this!! He gave us flat pillows with no contour, a speed bump in the chair but not in the sofa....he even admitted he didn't replace our cushions. You must see this!!!!
