I have so many good things to say about Louis and his team, I don't even know where to start!…read more - First off, Louis' communication was beyond expectation -- he was extremely responsive and professional. Both on Yelp and via text / call - Second, he offers scheduled pick up and drop off for your furniture which all the other companies I looked at did not offer - He has a great, creative eye for design and worked with me and my fiancé to find the perfect fabric for our chairs - Louis offers an extremely wide range of high quality fabrics and materials to choose from (you will be sure to find exactly what you need -- and Louis was happy to coach us through the process) - He also has really great and flexible hours to accommodate even the busiest professionals (evenings + Saturdays) - Lastly, and most importantly, is the quality of his work! He took 15+ year old chairs and made them look brand new (even better than the original if I'm being honest!). We know we are going to get decades more out of these chairs because of the quality and care Louis put into his work. OH! And the price was extremely competitive and reasonable based on the other quotes I received. I'm sure I'm leaving out something, but I'll leave with this: we could not be more happy with our newly upholstered chairs -- we've already received countless compliments and we will absolutely be going back to Louis for any of our upholstery needs. Thanks again for everything, Louis!!

My parents started thinking 'maybe' they should just buy new furniture. But the teak wood was in great condition & I felt it would have been a waste. So I called Bruski & they came out to give their estimate -- it was about 55% of what other companies quoted before. Now, we waited to see their craftsmanship. Of course, my parents went to their store to pick out the upholstery, the color, etc. While at the store, we saw some of their finished products -- all other furniture types, styles & sizes. And we were impressed. Finally, my parents' furniture was delivered (in the time promised) & they were glad to see what a GREAT job they did. Their 20 year old furniture looks like new.

I realize a lot of reviews are written by people that are personal friends or family members, so…read moreyou have to take their raves with a grain of salt. Not so in this case. I came to Willow on a recommendation from a family friend. Our house had just had pipes burst, and I needed to get my furniture out and given "spa treatment." Through all of the hassles of that process (insurance, permits, remediation), Willow was my oasis. I loved coming into the shop and, as Leigh often says, "look at pretty things." The whole staff was incredibly talented and helpful, and made this such an enjoyable experience. When I needed help with wallpaper, they were there to find a matching print and then recommend hangers. When I had to slow things down because my carpeting had yet to be installed, they could not have been more understanding and worked with my constraints. Best of all, my Mom, who is a very talented decorator in her own right, absolutely loves everything Willow created for her...which means we will be back to do other rooms. I cannot say enough positives about Willow, and, as an absolute novice at all of this, they made the redecorating so much fun. I always left the shop with a smile (and an armful of swatches). I will always be grateful to Willow for all of their help and positivity during what had started out as a catastrophe in our house. And, as I write this, I am sitting on the most beautiful wingback chair with a whimsical throw pillow behind me. Thank you, Willow, for all of this and more.

They are wizards at their craft, and we strongly recommend them to you. When the chairs were deivered to their shop, they had an assortment of significant defects after decades of use. The material had worn thin in areas, with a few tears in fabric. The padding on the seats and backs no longer provided the support they once did. The wood arms anad legs were severely scratched and discolored. We wondered whether we should just put them out for scavenger pickup. But we really liked the style and could find no comparable new chairs. So, we tracked down Nick's after reading all their 5-star reviews. Nick's totally transformed the chairs. They first refinished the wood so that it was like new. They helped us choose the perfect fabric and skillfully installed it after first replacing the padding. In short, it is hard to conceive that anyone else could have done a better job. And. while we were in no hurry to get the chairs back, they returned them at exactly the timeframe estimated. Everything was outstanding across the board.
