They're running a fun holiday specials menu right now with creative seasonal drinks and plates. Service was genuinely friendly. We started with the Pan de Queso, warm and fluffy, and two well layered drinks: a strawberry and horchata matcha cold-foam drinks. Both were good! My husband ordered the enchiladas and was raving about them. Handmade tortillas, generously stuffed, great flavor. The only tiny nitpick was that as they got cold and was near finishing, the second piece he gave me, was a little hard. I went with the Smoked Brisket Benedict. Unfortunately I was starting to come down with something that day and my taste buds were already off, so the texture and slight sweetness of the brisket just wasn't sitting right with me. The aroma of delicious food being prepared in the kitchen will remind you of home-cooked meals, and the overall vibe here is relaxed and fun. Come on, they have a replica of a large cow out in front. Thus, the name of the restaurant, VACA, which means cow in Spanish. The service here was FANTASTIC as my wife and I were seated within seconds of entering, and our drink orders were taken within 30 seconds of taking our seats. Our very friendly waitress took our food orders shortly thereafter. As we waited for our food to be delivered to our table, we couldn't help but notice the various orders of food being delivered to other tables. Wow! Everything looked DELICIOUS!. We waited approximately 12 minutes for our food to be delivered to our table. Every item on both of our plates looked unbelievably delicious. One taste of each item made us believers that we had hit the jackpot! There were so many flavors going on; each item was seasoned perfectly, and everything on both our plates was cooked to perfection. This was my first time trying Vaca and it was fantastic. It definitely won't be my last. I had the chilaquiles with green sauce, and over-medium eggs. The green sauce was tangy with a mild kick, and my eggs were cooked to absolute perfection. The whites were completely set with no slimy parts, while the yolk was partially cooked, and had a jammy, custard like consistency. They also had a rich slow ooze, when I cut into them, and they did not run everywhere. This is definitely a hard order to get right but this place aced it. One of the best brunch spots I've tried! I'm not from the area, so this was going to be our fuel for the long ride back home. I was taken care of by Maria and she was very attentive and friendly! The interior is large, with comfortable and a variety of table sizes to seat larger parties. We had a wheelchair in our party and there was a perfect amount of space for him!! The food did not take too long to come out, and when it did it was all so delicious. There's a good variety of items on the menu, and the portions are great! OMG.. YUM!! It's my daughter's 16th birthday and this is one of... if not her favorite breakfast spot! The decor is so cute! The larger table has a cherry blossom type tree hanging over it which is such a sweet little spot we have sat in before. Decorated for the spring with bunnies and carrots today! I haven't ordered the same thing twice because it all sounds so delicious and everything has been so good! From the coffees, to the savories and sweets we have never been disappointed. We came here around 10:30am for Saturday brunch and it was a 30ish minute wait, so it wasn't too bad. This place is pretty popular, so you know there's going to be a wait! There's plenty of parking here since it's a shared plaza as the other businesses don't have as much traction. We ordered the strawberry waffle, steak and eggs with bacon, and the huevos rancheros. Everything was pretty good! I did try a bit of the steak, which I wish it was more flavorful. The breakfast potatoes were pretty good. The fried tortilla in the huevos rancheros was pretty nice to try. We added avocado to it, but it was a pretty slim piece for $3, so I feel like it may not be as worth getting avocado again next time haha. The strawberry waffle was pretty nice, but I wish the waffle is more crispy. It was a bit too soft, especially with all the whip cream, and strawberry (yogurt?) that was covered. It was still a nice sweet treat. Very filling to eat. Portions are quite huge, so honestly sharing one plate would have been enough for a me and my bf's sister. We were curious to wanting to try the milk bags that they had since so many people were getting it, but we were already too full haha. Overall, great experience! I've been to Vaca a few times now, and typically have a good experience. This time was just bad. I'm not sure if it's because it was a weekday, I was dining by myself, or something else was going on that day but the service was absolutely terrible. I was trying to order food for quite a while and was being blatantly ignored by the waitstaff, but one waitress in particular was serving the table next to me and had to pass inches from me. She still ignored me! I was getting ready to walk out and let the hostess know that I had tried to order, but just couldn't speak to anyone. Another waiter came over, finally, to take my order. I got the brisket Benedict. It came out very fast. Unfortunately, and maybe it's because I was already in a bad mood, but it just had no flavor. The potatoes were good and salty, but the Benedict sauce was watery and flavorless. There was barely any chimichurri either. Trying to get the check was almost as bad as trying to order. All in all, I'm not sure that I'll be back to Vaca for a long time. The space is fun, but the staff attitudes are hard to deal with. read more

The huevos rancheros without meat were $15.99 and the chilaquiles without meat were $16.99, so you can easily enjoy a plate for under $20. Decided to try a new brunch place instead of the regular place we go to. We came here around 1pm on a Tuesday and there was no wait which was surprising to us since we saw a lot of reviews complaining about the long wait times. We figured it might be due to the day/time we arrived and those long wait times might be during weekend hours. Right away we got greeted by our waiter Yoan who sat us down near a window. The table had a real fresh flower center piece which gave it a nice touch. The seating and overall restaurant is really nice and clean. To start, we ordered a mimosa and a chocolate licuado. The licuado in a bag was so fun to see but the mimosa for the price of $7 was a bit too small for me. Either the price needs to come down a bit or the glass needs to be bigger! I'll include a picture below of both drinks. Overall, the licuado drink was very good and I would definitely get one myself next time. The mimosa was okay but I don't think I'd go back for another. For food, we decided to share a stack of 3 Leches pancakes and oh how good they were! The pancakes were very fluffy and when we received them they were definitely fresh off the grill which was obvious due to the steam emerging from them! Fresh fruit was placed on top and coconut sweet cream was all over them, it wasn't enough to make them soggy but enough to give them that moist taste. Our server Yoan even offered to bring us some more on the side but it wasn't necessary. Once we finished with those we ordered our main meals, I had the enfrijoladas and my boyfriend had the chilaquiles. We opted to add protein and went with porkbelly which was very well cooked and the taste was a sweet one. We both tried each other's food and agreed it was delicious. The enfrijoladas came with four tortillas with queso fresco on the inside and extra frijoles on the top with a jalapeno on the side. The amount was generous and I was only able to finish two and take the rest home. For the chilaquiles we asked for both red and green sauce to try them both and we decided the red sauce was more to our liking with a spicy kick whereas the green sauce had a more mild and lemony taste to it but just a good. They also have this chili oil sauce and it brought me back to my mom's cooking, it is very delicious, make sure to ask for it! To summarize, the drinks were good, the food delicious and the service was great! We'll definitely be coming back again soon! read more
