I have had many projects done by this company. They say they stand by their remodeling until they don't. I had siding installed to home which included the roof (chimney). My roof started leaking not knowing what the problem was I called a roofer. They informed me my chimney was leaking. So I had them fix the leak. Once they fixed the leak I was informed who ever put the siding on did not seal it properly. So I called Power to see if they could reimburse my cost of the repairs. But I was told I should have called them about the leak. How could one possibly call them when I didn't know where the leak was coming from. I was caught in a catch 22. Power refuse to reimburse me saying I shouldn't have stopped the leak but call them instead. Like I should have know the leak was caused by their poor installation. My 2 stars are because of April. She is amazing! Everything else not so much and I'd like to give them 0 stars. I have been pressured since I agreed to purchase the windows. I have an HOA and was told by April that I have to get HOA approval or could sign a waiver to forego the HOA approval. I said NO but I've been asked probably 10 more times. If you try to cancel they say you can't unless someone comes to your home. They lied and told me I couldn't cancel because the windows had been ordered and then I was told that they don't order the windows until they have HOA approval. They are liars and operate with pressure tactics. I have basically been called a liar by whoever this Stephen is. I told him that I sent in the request via email to my HOA as their portal was not allowing me to submit the request. April and I tried numerous times and it didn't work. He went behind my back and emailed the HOA. They told him I didn't submit the request. He emailed me in an accusatory tone as if I had been lying to him so finally I sent him and the HOA a copy of the email and the response that I received. He texted me and I told him that I was literally in a memorial service in Seattle for a family member and he still kept texting me. I signed a window replacement contract with Power Home remodeling on 9/4/24. On the day before installment, the general manager called me to confirm payment. I realized the amount he told me was about $200 more than what I signed for the final sale contract price. I asked why. He said that was the price of new project. I told him nobody told me about the increase and there was no new project. He said the person did the measurement on 9/5/24 should told me. I requested to talk the the person. He refused my request and said he is the general manager in Dallas region and has the final say. I was speechless. BEWARE!!! If I could give zero stars I would! This company is only out for your money! I wish we would have known this before we bought the windows and radiant barrier for the roof. The sales guy was at our house for 6 hours, which should have been a red flag but we just thought this guy was truly looking out for our best interest in our house. He spoke highly of the company for quite some time before getting into the sales part. Of course we were told how bad our windows were, how much the radiant barrier on the roof would help and how it should definitely make a difference in helping cool our house. They also gave us one quote and if we didn't accept the offer that day, that offer was no longer available however, the other price would be good for a year which was thousands of dollars more. So we got it done, but man I really wish we would have had time to have really looked into things instead of feeling pressured because we got bamboozled BIG TIME! The price went up $2000 because the other guy who came out said the other didn't measure right. They had to reschedule last minute to come out to do the windows and we had already taken off work to be there the first time. There was a dented screen window that was installed that they said they would come replace. Well we had to call them again to see when they were going to come replace it. We used Power to replace our windows and we loved them and the experience so when we bought our second home we called them to install windows in it. The windows themselves turned out fine however the crew broke multiple windows when they pulled out the existing windows and DID NOT TELL US. We only discovered there was glass in our home when my 3 year old daughter cut her foot open on a piece. They tracked shards of glass and nails from where they broke one of the windows (in my 3 year old daughters room) through the upstairs hallway, down the stairs and out the front door. We had glass in the carpet of all 5 upstairs bedrooms and found it embedded in the floor (and scattered on the floor) of our entire downstairs. One piece was found by my almost 2 year old son on the playroom floor. I called Power and they offered to send out the same crew who installed the windows to vacuum and clean up and I said no. They told me I needed to get quotes on cleaning the floors (over 3500sf) and I did and sent them a quote. They told me it would take time to approve and I told them they had until the next day only because my kids are babies and play on the floor and I cannot even have them in my home. They then told me they would only reimburse me $1000 of the $4000 I paid out of pocket because they didn't get a chance to approve it before I got it done and they felt it was too expensive. This was a door to door window sales call. They offered a free inspection, and we obliged. To our surprise some concerns were found within our 20 yr old windows. We were given an estimate of $18,000, which being disabled with one income was an issue. When they offered financing with easy to accommodate payments, we opted to do the worst ones, or less than half the cost. Every was satisfactory. Be aware, these sales calls and subsequent take A LOT of hours of your time! After install a few touch up and install quality issues had to be addressed, and we had a rep come by to assess the install. It turned out really to be another sales call to sell the rest of the job and other services they offered!!! They were pushy too!! We told them about our economic position (again) but it seemed like it didn't matter, they needed that sale!!! After over 2 hours, we said enough! Please do not pressure us anymore, and get those touch up items addressed. This seemed to only encourage this rep more, and would not let it go!! He offered big discounts, even made us feel guilty for not jumping on the offer! Finally, after my final firm "NO", he said ok, goodbye- and took off abruptly. Why does buying windows have to be so difficult? I arranged for a salesperson to come to the house and measure up for a quote. As anyone who has bought windows knows, this is a real dog-and-pony show and totally unnecessary. My initial appointment was cancelled and rearranged. I received multiple calls throughout the day to confirm my 1 hour time window. The sales man was on time and pleasant and I asked him to expedite the sales pitch. I was interested in seeing the product, its efficiency numbers and the price, without all the BS in between. 1 hour and 15 minutes into later, I told the salesman to get to the point. My wife and I both had commitments arranged for this evening and we made them around this 1 hour window. The salesman began to get defensive and kept making passive aggressive comments about my choice of selecting a vendor while he hurriedly put the measurements he had been writing down on his paperwork into the iPad he had been carrying around with him the whole time. I initially ignored these comments because I could see he was frustrated with my impatience at this point and let him plug in his numbers. There was clearly some miscommunication regarding the time window you guys have for an appointment because he seemed completely unaware that I had been provided this 1 hour slot. Now if I misunderstood and this is a 1 hour slot for arrival, with an open ended time window, shame on you for not being clear about it to me and for putting the salesman in the awkward position he was in today. Nevertheless, his attitude when challenged completely changed and the passive aggressive behavior along with the comments are totally inappropriate. Finally, after one too many comments about my way of doing business with vendors, and frankly insulting me in my own home, he was promptly asked to leave. Obviously because of his immaturity he had to have to the last word and I got a very clear "we are doing fine without your business". How dare you come into my home and insult me. This is quite frankly one of the most unprofessional experiences I have ever had dealing with any vendor. As for your efficiency model, come in, show me your product, take your measurements and give me the price. If I like it, I will probably buy it. If you can't get that done in an hour, then you are not efficient. If you have a client with a lot of questions, I get it, spend more time with them, but read the room. The company does a high power sales job. says you have to cancel within 3 business days. however when I check emails and contract for emailing the cancellation or the app they physically installed on my phone, there is no way to inform them that I want to cancel. the agreement document on cancellation talks of sending a TELEGRAM. Telegrams are defunct in the USA for years now. hence this company should be looked at the procedure they use to cancel. I'm giving 2 stars for the good work the installers did. I moved into my mother's completely after her dying in September. I was trying to figure out what all renovations were needed, so I decided to start with the windows. I wasn't looking to jump right in just to get quotes and to see what was affordable for me. I was in the process of planning my mother's funeral and needed a moment to focus on something else. I saw a Power Team working on my neighbor's house and I went to get information. I called and an appointment was set for Anthony Williams and Samantha I think that was her name. So they came out on October 6. Anthony was the dominant one that did all the talking. I explained my situation and firmly expressed I was just looking for quotes. He went on with his presentation, pulling out all the gadgets and setups. He explain why his company was the best. He told me his company prefers customers to go out and get other quotes but guaranteed they were the cheapest and best on the market. I agreed to get other quotes to see for myself. Anthony kept stating I was under no obligation to purchase or agree to anything because this was a free presentation. I told Anthony that with my Mother's untimely passing, I was needing to take things slow. I explained I was still in the process of making funeral arrangements so I would not be making any decisions now. Anthony said to just set an appointment for a project manager to look at the windows and see if there's mold, and they can get measurements. I could see Anthony pretended to show empathy but that snakehead of a deceptive salesman not caring to get the sale showed through. My husband saw it so strongly until he told me "I want nothing to do with it because Anthony is going to get us in debt!" My husband said "This is not a free presentation, they're expecting you to agree to some type of sale before they leave, so let them pack their things and go now! Anthony doesn't care about nothing you got going on just the sale." Against my husband's wishes, I continue to let them finish their presentation. So now the prices for 19 windows, shutters, and back patio sliding door, it was over $50k. It wasn't a bad deal but I wanted to still get other quotes to see if I could do a couple of windows at a time. Anthony wasn't trying to hear that! He wanted me to sign to have all this done at once. I stated back his claim to him that this was just a free presentation and no obligations right? He said yes but I would hate for you to miss out on this great promotion that's only offered once. I said well, I'm sure it might be a better one when I decide to call your company. So after I wouldn't agree to the 50k, he went down to 14,450.00. I stated again, not a bad price but I won't know what I can afford until I check with the homeowner's insurance and get other quotes and options as you requested I do. Anthony was so persistent after that until I started feeling uncomfortable. It was like he was threatening me bc they came out and spent 4hrs plus on presentations for nothing. It was so bad I had to call my husband and my father. Once I did that his demeanor and tone changed after speaking to my dad via phone. Once the phone call ended with my dad. Anthony came with another quote for 4 windows for about 5,000.00. Again, not a bad price but I was not ready to make a decision. I told him I will agree to someone coming out to look at the windows and talk to me more about mold but that's it. Well, that's where I messed up. Because the paperwork he had me sign was for the windows installers to come out to do measurements to start the work, not to give another presentation of what they will do, and talk about window mold etc. Before signing the paperwork, I looked at the paperwork and asked Anthony what was I signing and why was this stating the last price you quoted me. He said that's just to confirm your appointment for the project manager to come out and look at your windows, get measurements, and talk to you about mold if they find any. Also in case you decide to go with us this will be the price we use to lock you in for the promotions. But you're up under no obligations and can cancel the appointment at any time. After the appointment, I was called multiple times to push up the appointment date and time. So I decided to cancel. Anthony showed up a few hours later threatening me saying I signed papers agreeing to get the work done and if I don't go through with it then the balance of 5k will placed on my credit. Their sales tactics are high pressure. You can save a couple thousand dollars if you agree to their quote on the spot. Do your research and get other quotes before contacting them. Their quote wasn't broken down so when part of the service wasn't required I wasn't sure whether a fair amount was removed from total cost. Most of their employees do not speak English, or at least act like they don't understand. Google translator is not a good option. Crew Chief was not on job site most of the time. So getting questions answered was difficult. They worked on a Saturday and their offices closed at 1 pm, so there was no one to reach out to about concerns. I had several questions before I agreed to sign off on "job completion". THEIR inspector found several discrepancies. Work schedule for completion of discrepancies was rescheduled several times and I had to make several calls to find out when a crew would actually come back out. No one ever returned a phone call. I was not provided a work order, so I wasn't exactly sure what needed to be corrected and I wasn't there part of the time they were working. So I had to take the word of the inspector that all was done properly. I want to feel confident that since he found the discrepancies he could also verify they had been corrected. Do research to know how installation should be done and be on site, take pictures and ask questions. The finished project looks good. They provide a warranty, which shouldn't be an excuse not to provide the best possible installation services. I don't plan on ever doing this again and I hope I never have to make a claim on the warranty. Again, my advice is do a lot of research before making any decisions. read more

My sliding glass door was installed 2/17/23. While installing they realized they did not have the locking mechanism and the "ball" that the sliding glass door slides on. I was told to call following Monday. I called and I was told that the earliest they could get the part was Mid March. I called today 3/22/23 and now they are saying the part will not be here until mid April. The door should not have been installed without all the parts. The door is so heavy we are barely able to open and every time we do open it, it gauges in the plastic at the bottom and has left a big scar and shavings of plastic. I have never received a call from Power, I have to call to check on the status and they are never sorry for my inconvenience. Our neighbor across the street had their windows done by Power and I was very impressed with the way they looked, so I asked him about his experience. He couldn't say enough good things about the work they did. I had them come out to give me a quote and was very impressed with the quality of their windows. I appreciated that they used a BTU reader to show just how much heat was being let into the house by my windows and how much theirs would block. They also offer a radiant barrier for the attic that I will be taking them up on. I committed to doing my first set of 10 windows of the 30+ I have in the house, and so far the work has been excellent. read more

Extremely pushy sales tactics. Once you agree to a free quote, they occupy your time for hours with unnecessary presentations of their product. That was my biggest mistake to answer their questions once they knocked my door. Additionally, they are overpriced. I would not recommend them from the beginning due to their annoying communication methods. Ethically, they should inform you how long it will take to provide you with a quote. I had to ask salespeople to leave my home after two hours. Another note, not just spent too much time on estimates and demonstrations they didn't provide them in writing. Twice in two years these people came to my door and hard-selled appointments for their people to come out and measure my windows and present their replacement windows. The first in 2019, I rescheduled to a Saturday due to my granddaughters volleyball tournament. The guy did not show up after waiting for an hour. The excuse was the office did not pass-on the appointment in time. The second was set for 6:00PM, September 15, 2020. Not only did I not get a reminder call as promised, nobody showed again. My wife and I waited till 7:00PM and left the house. What kind of game are these people playing?. My opinion is unless you told them you are definitely buying, they send their people to other potential customers that did make a commitment. We had siding done on our home in July 2024. We loved the finish product. Our home looks really nice. The installation team was very good and accommodating. The sales process was smooth and the sales rep, Tim Chatman, was pleasant. He answered our questions and was helpful. Although Tim was helpful, he was very misleading about the replacement of the wood on our house. He told us that ALL wood on the house would be replaced. As it turns out, everything was replaced except the soffit. When the quality control person, Chin, came to inspect the work, I told him what we were told and his response was and I quote, "Good old Tim. He has be known to do this. I have had to talk to him about this." I was very upset about what we were told and this man sat in my house and told me some foolishness like that. I could not believe it. We have not any problems but it is the principle. We were told that we didn't pay for extra But who knows. Ask questions and make sure you are getting what you they say you're getting. Talk to the installers and oversee your project. You will be told they work for Power and that's probably true but contracted 3rd party workers. read more

The salesman would exaggerating their "life time warranty" service to you when they are trying to sale, of course that "excellent service " would cost you much more than the same installation from other companies. But the worst part is most likely its not a real life time warranty, if you sold your house, the new owner probably have to pay the labor fee for the maintenance. I only found that out at the time I was trying to sell my house, and the warranty group reply me as that, I told them that not what the salesman told me at the time. But they can't give me a satisfaction answer. By the way, after we signed up the gutters service with them, they immediately sent another salesman to our house pushing us to do more, and that sales man were stay at our house for 3 hours, ignored all the signs I gave to him to let him out of the house, I was glad that I didn't do any more work with them. Per their own website, their "lifetime warranty" is 10 years. After that it's prorated. Further adding to this lie when I clarified the claim the employee who came to my home to provide an estimate made by asking "So in 50 years a window fails what happens?" He replied that they'd send someone out to fix it free. Not true Additionally I was quoted 20k to replace 17 windows, 18k if I signed that day before I'd had a chance to verify all the claim in Power's sales presentation or gotten any other estimates. Thankfully I found that their prices are outrageously high despite the claims to the contrary made in their sales presentation. Nope, not happening. A lot of money for these windows and door.........a lot of sales person promises about how great the company is........Here are some of the red flags that occurred: 1st red flag - The installers got to my home late and were rushing to finish 2nd red flag - when using the spray foam on a 1 inch gap the foam expanded to the thickness of a piece of string. I was concerned about how well the windows and door were insulated 3rd red flag - After the door was installed, the next cold windy day, standing by the door on the inside the was a cold breeze on my feet. The breeze was blowing under the threshold. 4th red Flag - I entered an online request for customer service and warranty (2 requests). I received an email I would get a call in 48 hours. 96 hours later after no call, I called. 5th red Flag - They transferred me to a local office and were going to send the same crew that made the mistake. I wanted someone with more experience and the fact that so far the POWER, after all the money i spent, how poorly customer service worked, the best they could do is is send someone in a few weeks..... So my new door for the Christmas and New years holiday need a towel against the bottom of the door to keep the wind out of the house. The best they can do is someone out in a few weeks. read more

The customer facing people are great. Nice, easy to talk to, not rushed, not pushy. I got warm fuzzies and they were honest and time efficient. Sept 2019, they are doing door to door sales for window replacements. We let them know up front that we're not buying this year due to budgetary concerns, but they wanted to quote us out anyway. We agreed to let the full sales guy come out, and he was honest and up front that it would be around $1k per window installed. We chose Power Home Remodeling for windows because a family member used them and had a great experience. The sales team told us during our home inspection for the windows that our attic was 150 degrees and that we needed to purchase their radiant barrier. He said it would reduce the temperature drastically in the attic, make our HVAC last longer and it wouldn't have to work so hard. We had it installed. Today it was 100 degrees outside and in excess of 160 degrees in the attic. Power initially sent people out to uncover vents they covered during installation, with no improvement noted. We were told today that they can do nothing more for us, that our ventilation is the problem and we need to have a contractor install more vents. Never did the salesman state that the barrier would only work if we added more ventilation. We paid around 10k for a product we should never have been sold in the first place. read more
