I had a very concerning experience with this company and would not recommend them. A salesperson came into my home and used high-pressure tactics to get me to sign a contract. I was told certain things about the warranty that I later found out were not accurate, which is extremely misleading. During the process, they also collected my banking information and Social Security number and ran a credit check without clearly explaining what they were doing or why. I felt uncomfortable the entire time, and looking back, I should have asked them to leave sooner. No customer should feel pressured, misled, or rushed into handing over sensitive personal information like that. If you are considering doing business with this company, please be very cautious. Take your time, read everything carefully, and do not give out personal or financial information unless you fully understand and trust what is being presented. Short answer: don't do it. They require you to leave a review BEFORE the job starts. Long answer: We have sent multiple emails and made multiple calls with no solution. My husband and I invested more than $50,000 with Power for new windows, gutters, trim, and doors based on the professionalism, promises, and customer service presented during the sales process. Unfortunately, our experience after signing the contract has been unacceptable and deeply concerning. Before installation began, we were explicitly told that HOA approvals for the gutters and trim had been obtained and that your company had previously completed work within our neighborhood. After installation started, our HOA informed us that no approval had been granted. We later discovered that the home your team referenced was not even located within our HOA community. Because of this misinformation, installation had to be halted mid-project. During the delay, your team left an opening leading to our roof area, which resulted in a raccoon entering our home and causing additional disruption and stress. Despite being told that a VP had been notified and would take this matter seriously, nobody from leadership ever contacted us. Instead, we repeatedly received emails asking us for HOA updates, an issue that should never have existed had accurate information been provided upfront. After eventually obtaining the necessary approvals ourselves, installation resumed. Since completion, however, we have experienced ongoing issues with the quality of the work performed. Most concerning is that multiple windows appear to have been installed improperly, resulting in water intrusion during rainstorms. We are now finding water coming through corners of the windows, onto our floors, into our walls, and near an electrical outlet. This presents not only a risk for significant property damage, but also a serious safety concern due to the potential electrical hazard. Additionally, the moisture entering the walls raises concerns about hidden water damage, mold growth, and long-term structural issues, especially alarming given that we have a 3 MONTH OLD BABY in the home. The doors installed by Power also continue to malfunction and stick despite multiple requests for repairs. These issues remain unresolved and have created ongoing frustration and inconvenience in our daily lives, especially when having to move quietly with a newborn. The response time from your service department has also been unacceptable. After discovering active water intrusion, we immediately submitted a service ticket and called your office, only to be told that the earliest available appointment was nearly a week away. Water actively entering a home, particularly near electrical components, is an URGENT matter, not a routine scheduling issue. WHAT'S EVEN MORE CONCERNING IS THAT I TOLD YOUR TEAM THAT I HAD A NEWBORN BABY AT HOME AND THEY STILL SCHEDULED IT OUT ABOUT A WEEK. At this point, we are extremely disappointed by: * Misrepresentation regarding HOA approvals and prior neighborhood work * Poor communication and lack of accountability from leadership * Improper installation resulting in active water intrusion * Ongoing unresolved door installation problems * Delayed response to what is clearly an emergency situation * The additional stress, time, disruption, and financial burden your company has caused our family We entered this project expecting premium workmanship and customer service. Especially for what we paid. Instead, we have experienced repeated installation issues, preventable delays, lack of accountability and an alarming absence of urgency after payment was received. Additionally, reflecting on the sales process, it is concerning that your sales representative remained in our home for more than six hours on a weeknight presenting overwhelming amounts of information and pressure to move forward. It is also concerning that they asked us to leave a review prior to the installation and when I questioned it, the rep said that it was a requirement and watched me. Given the experience we have had since signing the contract, the contrast between the sales experience and the post-sale support has been extremely disappointing. read more

I would not recommend Power Home Remodeling to anyone. I hired them to replace all the windows in my home, the project was done in two phases. During the first install, they put one window in so shoddily that it had to be replaced. Not a great start, but at least they corrected that one. The second phase was supposed to finish the entire house. Somehow, they managed to miss one window. So now I have brand-new windows throughout my entire home... except for one. It's unbelievable. They've repeatedly claimed they'll "make it right," but it's been a full year and nothing has happened. On my most recent attempt to resolve this, I was told the job is "below the order threshold" and that if I pay for additional services, they'll then allow me to pay for the one window they failed to install in the first place. That is not making it right. That's asking the customer to spend more money to fix your mistake. Own the error. Fix the missed window. Don't make your customers jump through hoops or open their wallets again to correct your oversight. Extremely disappointing experience. I would give zero stars if possible. read more

We had gutter work completed yesterday at our home in McKinney. The gutters themselves look great, so we do appreciate the quality of the installation. However, I wanted to share some concerns about the overall experience. From the start, the communication felt unprofessional. When the team arrived and I greeted them, the response was "good I guess, we're here to work on your house," which came across as dismissive. During the walkthrough, when I agreed to step outside, I was met with "I was hoping you'd say no," and the interaction felt irritated. At the end of the job, as I was still nearby, there was visible frustration including yelling "ugh shit" and throwing a tool toward the truck. I understand it was a hot day and that can be frustrating, but that kind of behavior is not appropriate in front of a customer. More importantly, the cleanup was not handled properly. There was debris left in the yard and on the porch, including small pieces that could be dangerous. We have a toddler, so this raised a real safety concern. Additionally, it would have ruined our lawn mover. They also did not take the time to move our things back into place. While we're happy with how the gutters turned out, the professionalism and cleanup did not meet expectations. read more

This would be a zero-star review if that were an option. There are so many issues with this project that I genuinely regret moving forward. In hindsight, I should have been concerned when Power called to say a crew had finished another job early and could start mine ahead of schedule. This is my third installation with Power, and I am currently having siding installed--but this experience has been extremely disappointing. If the current workmanship is any indication of the final product, it does not look promising. The materials appear very cheap, and the installation only makes them look worse--tacky and poorly finished. Had I been shown the trim or given a clear idea of how everything would look beforehand, I would not have agreed to proceed. For the price, the materials alone are not worth it. The crew's performance has also been unacceptable. On the first day, they left old siding hanging off the house, blocking access to my backyard. I had to remove it myself just to use my door. A windstorm later blew down the rest that had been left unsecured over the weekend. Every day, I've had to pick up 15-20 nails and screws from my driveway. That alone is a safety hazard. They removed window trim and didn't reinstall it correctly, and they damaged a brand-new screen. A rep from the Irving office came out, acknowledged it, said he had a replacement in his truck--and then just didn't fix it. They also added a large wood frame around my garage to "camouflage" brick damage without consulting me. It appears improperly sized and poorly executed. Worse, they removed my garage door rails from the house and bolted them into this frame without my permission or explanation. As of today, only one side has been reattached correctly. Additionally, they damaged sheetrock in my utility room. When I brought this up, the representative's response was, "You're having this repaired anyway, right?"--which completely misses the point. This damage should have been communicated and addressed professionally. Overall, this experience has been frustrating, disappointing, and far below expectations. I scheduled what I was told would be a "free estimate" with Power Windows, with the understanding that this was simply a quote for potential future work. I was never informed that the appointment would last 3-4 hours. The representative who came to my home, Nicorey Warren, was polite and friendly. However, the process turned into an all-afternoon sales presentation from approximately 2:00 PM to nearly 6:00 PM. I have two children and evening responsibilities, and this completely disrupted my day. About two hours in, I told him I needed to leave to pick up my kids because I had no idea this would take this long. He said he would wait in his car until I returned so we could continue. Throughout the presentation, I was repeatedly told we were "almost done" or "just a few more minutes," but it continued for hours. The final quote was approximately $40,000 for an 1,800 square foot home, which felt extremely high and far outside what I would consider reasonable for window replacement. Ten days ago, I sent a detailed complaint through the company's website and CC'd CEO Corey. I have received no response from customer service and no acknowledgment from the CEO. Homeowners should be aware of the time commitment involved in these appointments and the pricing structure before agreeing to schedule one. Had one of their sales consultants hound us on the phone for weeks and we finally relented to a meeting. We were looking at new attic insulation and he told us we only needed a "radiant barrier". So he writes us a quote but doesn't leave a cell number only a business phone. I tried for two days to reach him to accept the quote and never received a call back. He finally calls back three days later and says the mis-quoted from a 5,000 dollar quote to 17,000 dollars. Really, maybe find a new line of work or honor the one you gave! This is in Euless Texas! Beware of Power Home! They are unreliable, opportunistic and exploitative. They took advantage of my senior adult parents, hounding them with door to door salesmen until my mother relented without me knowing. She spent 40K in windows and they refuse to give us an itemized receipt. They said she agreed to a contract in which they do not have to disclose what she paid for or how much each window cost, and they won't! We were trying to get itemized window costs for my parents tax return, but Power refused to provide that information. My parents spent $40,000 and cannot know what they paid for! Turns out their "energy efficient" windows do not meet IRS requirements for solar efficiency tax break, but even if they did, you could not apply for it because they refuse to give itemized bids/receipts. The customer service representative was insolent, rude and unapologetic. Telling me I needed to look up "contracts where itemization is not required". You will have no idea what you are paying for. Furthermore, they did not tell my parents that after replacing $40,000 worth of windows, their shutters would no longer fit. My parents never would have used them had they known this. Power did NOTHING to help and just left the house a mess. My parents had to hire another window company to come fix their mess and reinstall their shutters. Not to mention, they are STILL knocking on my parents' door trying to sell them windows!! Even though they already did and all their windows are clearly brand new!! The company called me 20 minutes after we set up the appointment to confirm all my details, the appointment date and asked how my credit was. The next morning I got called 5 times in 3 hours and asking me to confirm my appointment time. When I spoke to the guy on the other side of the phone about how ridiculous it was how many times they've called and how I've already confirmed the appointment date and that I now wanted to cancel, he was very rude. Laughed under his breath and kept asking why 1pm was no longer good for me even though I confirmed it. I had to mention multiple times to him I wanted to cancel the appointment.
