Purchased storm doors for the first time. After researching Lowes and Home Depot, I came to the realization that we would need to go another route. Found Clarity via NextDoor reviews. From the salesperson to the installation and everyone in between, this was a very pleasant experience. They are more expensive than Lowes and Home Depot, but for me it was well worth it. The salesperson was a resource as we went through the selection of the doors. I didn't know there was so much involved...not just selecting the doors but also hardware. There were a few hiccups along the way, but with having one contact in their Production area we worked through all of those. read more

We had Clarity windows installed a few years ago. Good windows, installation ok, although they destroyed the wiring for the alarm system. Recently I had them come out because there was a small leak that could have been the window. The person that came just glanced at the window and it was pretty much "Nope, it's not the window. Bye". I had someone come and remove the sill and trim around the window. Then just used a hose to see that indeed the window seal was broken and was the source of the leak. Also discovered that the window and the one next to it were installed upside down. The leak needed to be fixed now, so rather than fight with Clarity over warranty, I just called someone else to have the window replaced. read more

This was an extremely positive experience with everyone we're dealt with, especially Kyle . Communication with Shantel was excellent, and we always knew where we were in the process. The building contractor who came out to verify the work, was extremely complementary of the workmanship and the quality of the windows we bought. And, this was the cheapest quote we got, but was within the price range we expected. Steve and the team that that installed the windows was very respectful of our house and making sure everything was clean, even reinstalling a couple of blind brackets they had to remove. I honestly can't recommend these people enough, and have already sent their information to others I know, considering Windows. read more

We needed all new windows in our house and used Clarity. We have a mid-century modern home with a sloped roof, and as such we were concerned with Clarity's suggestion of window placement because of potentially load-bearing joists. We were advised to go with 3 long windows instead of 9 small picture windows and were told that it would be no problem despite my husband raising a concern. They get the first 3 picture windows out and install the first of 3 long windows--IMMEDIATELY our ceiling started to sag. No bueno, even tho we were promised this wouldn't happen. Clarity fumbled their way thru the installation, creating more home repair work on the inside because of it. I was not happy and left a message to that point--never heard one peep in return, nor did anyone return after the installation to check on things. Now, a year later, and despite a "warranty", we have wasps getting in around the windows but Clarity wants to charge $150 for a service call. This is NOT what good customer service looks like. read more

I had all my windows replaced with Clarity windows in 2008. They really looked nice. However, over time seals failed and when I went to look at the warranty, I found that my "lifetime" warranty was pro-rated. So, after 15 years, it would only cover 25% of the cost. I also had paid extra to have a wood look finish on the interior and that is all peeling off (I actually open and close my windows). And, one of the windows was always a little sticky getting up and over time it could no longer be opened. Rather than replace bad windows with more bad windows, I am slowly replacing them with Pella windows. They were replacing one today and they said that the Clarity installer had put screws in the base of the window and that's something you should not do because any water would flow down and that could cause a leak. So, while I didn't think I would have to replace these windows so soon, I'm at least glad I did given that potential issue. Update to Owner's response item by item: 1) I did double-check the warranty I was provided and the owner is correct that the pro-rated amounts are for transfer to a new owner. I tried to upload a photo (likely not allowed cuz it might be of copyrighted text), but the warranty doesn't cover labor after the 1st year. It seems that you all were aware of the lower quality and problems with the Alside windows and thus switched brands. That certainly benefits new customers, but leaves those with Alside windows in a bad position. I've added a photo of the problem with the wood overlay, both in a window that I hasn't been replaced (that one no longer fully closes so you can't see the extent of the peeling) and one we just removed. 2) Correct. I did not contact Clarity after reviewing the warranty and seeing that the majority of the windows had problems. As I said, I did not see the point in replacing windows that weren't good quality with the same thing. I'm writing this review to help others in their decision to install new windows. In terms of customer service, when Clarity became aware of the frequent problems with Alside windows, contacting customers that had those windows installed and making them aware of your willingness to help (e.g., cover part of the costs) could certainly have helped. And, I do hope that the brand you're using now is a better quality (although there still might be the issue with regards to the installation). 3) I saw myself that they had put screws into the base of the windows. And, I've uploaded a photo of a window that hasn't been replaced that also has screws in the corners of the base of the window. You can see all the dust/dirt that could reach that area, so water easily could. [Note: that area is covered with a panel that was easily removeable and does not provide any sealing per se of that area.] I also saw that they had hacked away at the window header to make one of the windows fit and then covered that with a flat piece on the top. That made the measurements Pella did inaccurate. They could not fit the window they ordered as they did not want to further reduce the size of the header. So, they have re-ordered that window. I do understand that wouldn't have worked for the windows Clarity installed since they weren't really custom but rather stock sizes that were made to fit (that's why I had a very wide separator placed between the two windows in my breakfast area that really blocked the view). read more

I had planned to do one side of my house a year, until I was able to replace all my windows. My house is 25 years old and was very cold in the winter. I love the windows that have been installed to date. They are beautiful. Many times I have given thanks that I was able to have such really beautiful windows that help to keep my home so much warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. We just finished the second half of the house so now have brand new Anlin Del Mar windows throughout the house. No more crappy old builder grade junk! Working with Clarity Windows and Doors could not have been easier. They are truly customer focused, upfront and honest, and deliver on their promises - these guys just don't make nonsense promises they can't keep. Proof of this? On the day of install they proactively pointed out a scratch (that I never would have noticed) on one of the windows that was delivered to them, and submitted a warranty claim to have the glass replaced. Once again Kyle was fantastic to work with as our sales rep, and this time Arturo and has crew handled the install. Not sure it was possible, but it was an even better experience for phase 2. The house already feels warmer and better insulated in this winter weather, the windows look fantastic, and they work! Clarity finished the first phase of our house at the end of December 2020. Originally planned to get at least three quotes but after Kyle came out to consult on our project and we drew our own comparisons to the Pella consult, we decided we didn't need a third quote and went with Clarity. The windows (Anlin Del Mar) are fantastic, and they look great. Can already feel (and hear) the difference. Communication from start to finish of phase one was brilliant all round, and Jesse's install crew did a great job (city inspector was impressed with the quality of the windows and the install job too). Arturo and his team of window installers just left my home and I am eagerly sitting down to write this review. Clarity windows has absolutely blown me away from start to finish. For those of you not looking for the whole glorious version below, here's my must know favorites: * Clarity is the absolute best value for product and service hands down. You get what you pay for here and it is worth every glorious penny. These windows are gorgeous and you will enjoy every bit of the process to get them from start to finish. * Awesome sales rep (mine was Kyle) that actually takes time with you and does not push you. Just facts and great information coupled with detailed attention to each and every window and helping you select options that make the process exciting. * Stunning product that is unbeatable with the lowest frame profile in the vinyl industry at 1 1/2 inches. This means your windows look like more glass than frame. * Way more customizable options per window than I even knew was possible and they don't upcharge you for everything. * Ability to do really tiny custom windows. I have two skinny windows flanking my front door that other companies told me they couldn't replace because of the frame profile, but not a problem with Clarity. * Insanely professional and friendly install team (mine was Arturo, Andrew, Felipe, and Osiel) that does superb work and goes above and beyond to leave everything looking seamless and spotless. Now for the rest of you eager for all the yummy details, read on. I got three different bids when looking for window companies and Clarity came in the middle of those bids and top of my budget, but I went with them because of the amazing product they carry and the professional service of their salesman Kyle. Windows are huge foundational parts of your home people. Invest in them. You will not regret it. First off, I just thought I was gonna replace my windows with whatever shape I already had, but Kyle took the time to sit me down and talk through each and every window, explain what was possible, and help me decide what I wanted. Because Clarity uses Anlin windows we were able to do windows with custom sizing on the bottom sash that allows my big picture windows in my kitchen and bedroom to retain the view while still having air flow. We also replaced a window that was previously two with this incredible single window with a slider beneath. I would never have thought of such options, but because of Kyle I now have some really gorgeous and unique windows, and those options were absolutely reasonable price wise. Second, the Anlin windows have the lowest frame profile in the vinyl industry. Which means that area around the glass is only 1 1/2 inches which was HUGE for me as I really wanted to preserve as much of the view as possible. I could see the big difference when Kyle first showed me the demo ones, but now that they're installed, I'm even more impressed. Third, I went with the adobe color for my vinyl and it wasn't an extra charge. It looks SO much better than white without having to pay for the custom colors. Fourth, the windows are GORGEOUS in person and a dream to operate. These new babies glide like butter and can easily tilt for cleaning. I'm. In. Love. Now all of this said, none of this actually matters if the company has a crappy install team, because no matter how good the product is, if you don't have guys who know what they're doing, there's gonna be long term problems down the road, and I did not want that headache. Thankfully with Clarity this was a slam dunk. Arturo and his team arrived yesterday and were so professional from start to finish. Being a single Mom who works from home, it's always a little stressful knowing there's going to be people in your home for two days straight. Arturo started the process by asking me where I wanted him to begin which allowed me to have my office space all of yesterday. His team, Andrew, Felipe, and Osiel were so courteous and friendly. I felt right at home having them around and even ran errands both days for a couple of hours while they were here working. On top of all of this, Arturo went above and beyond by fashioning a special covering for the edges of these extra tricky skinny windows by my front door. Any other installer would have just used wood and told me to have it painted, but Arturo made sure that when they left, I would have nothing else to do but just sit and enjoy the gorgeous views through my new windows. Honestly, a part of me was terribly sad to see them go today. The only consolation is knowing that they are headed out into the world to make other people (maybe you!) happy with such an awesome window buying and installation experience. This journey of window buying that I was kind of overwhelmed by when I first started getting bids has ended far beyond what I could have imagined thanks to Clarity and their awesome team. Just finished up with an install of new windows a few days ago. So happy to have windows I can open since weather is very pleasant now. Very pleased with how they look but too early to say if this will make a difference in heating or cooling costs. My main reason for writing this review is Arturo. Arturo led the team and I have never been so happy with a contractor and his crew. They were here for 10 hours and only stopped for short lunch break. I expected a lot of dust from the process, but they covered floors and vacuumed up as they went. Exterior was left in excellent condition also. Cannot say enough about how hard these guys worked. Windows Replaced. We just had all 38 windows in our home replaced. My wife says I like the hunt more than the harvest. I researched and received quotes for three months and am confident I made the best decision. Lots of reviews said "it's all about the numbers", so I got educated in U-Factors, Solar Gain Coefficients, Visual Transmittance, Condensation Resistance, NFRC Score(National Fenestration Rating Council), AAMA Certifications, etc. I knew from experience that I did not want to do business with company that just sold products. I wanted to pay a local company who installed, warranted and serviced the windows if I encountered issues. I didn't want to deal with a seller, an installer, and a manufacturer separately. After extensive Web and BBB research, I received quotes from the three companies at the top of my list. I landed on Clarity Home Improvements in Southlake because of their excellent service ratings, pricing was very competitive and all their windows were very high performers. I visited their showroom, met the owner (Chris) and chose their the Anlin Platinum window product. I am convinced Chris' success is because he is a real window nerd and focuses on service. Clarity's prices were very reasonable, and the window choices are all premium grade with nuances to meet various needs. Our needs were for maximum efficiency and to be blissfully unaware that my neighbors were mowing their lawns. I achieved both. From initial sales call to the post installation check-up, the process was superb. The Clarity Installation crew made sure they cleaned up each space and made sure we were pleased with how things were going as we progressed to each window. Even with high expectations, we were not disappointed. We expected to have lots of touch up and some clean-up, but had neither....and the caulking is a work of art! read more

This company was amazing. I was skeptical about buying replacement windows and received two prior bids that were outrageous. Every company that came out had a similar pitch about their quality of windows. The honest answer is that I went with clarity because of their competitive price but I am so glad I did. The entire organization knows how to treat a customer. Everyone is focused on giving superior customer service from the sales people to the admins to the installers. By the way, Arturo is amazing and a really nice guy as well. This is an organization that clearly (no pun intended) understands customer service and it is reflected in every employee that I spoke to. We contacted Clarity windows after hearing their ad on the radio. We need to replace all the windows in our house. I booked the appointment and the associate came to our house. he was late, and did call to let me know he would be late. When he arrived he talked us briefly about the window products they had available, pulled out a tape measure, held it up to the frame, never wrote anything down, promised to bring samples back the next day and send us a quote immediately. Two weeks went by and my husband nor I had heard a word form the man that came to our house. I called to ask to speak to the man and had to leave a message for him. He never called, I called again and was told he was sick and the receptionist said she would try to find him and have him call us. He never called. I called the next day and was told by another associate that the man was not in the office. He finally did call and said he would send us a quote shortly. We got the 3 line quote later that afternoon with a total and nothing else. Needless to say we will not be using this company. Our job would have been over all about at $70,000 job and try as I may I could not get this company interested! Their business must be booming to walk away for a sale of that magnitude. read more
