Bought a car from this dealership on Jan 2,2018 and on April 1 of the same year, the motor blew. I realize I took this chance when I bought this car "as is" , but less than 90 days?? Seems borderline "lemon", so when I called to reach out to the owner, he could not have seemed unconcerned that his business was selling vehicles like this. He was super hard to reach at first and the dealer where I took the car to have the motor replaced said 'whoever' sold me that car, had to be aware of its issues. My advice to anyone that buys anything from these guys, take a mechanic with you and have them look over anything before buying. read more

One of the worst cars I have EVER bought... Brakes had 75 miles left after I left the lot. Back brake calliper bolt stripped and won't ever come out. Front axle threads stripped so bad that axle nut was only 1/3 of the way on. This caused the front bearings to last a total of 7 days after I left the lot. Front passenger side tire has a GASH down it that was causing a balance issue that seller advised I should just rotate tires to fix. Car has been in my possession for a total of 3 wks now and I have only been able to drive it 8 out of those 21 days. Final purchase price/tax was lied about because I didn't feel like doing the math myself. (fucking idiot me.) Tacked on an extra 200 from thin air till I told them I was walking away then provided me with "discount" price or actual true price with tax and such. Post was listed in personal owner on craigslist not DEALER where it should have been. This should have gave me a hint on how F-ING shady these scumbags (as stated before, which I would be A LOT harsher when describing them) actually are. read more

I live in Colorado and found the perfect car for my son who is going to college in the mountains. I dealt with Michael and Mike. My sister checked out the car for me and texted a copy of the Carfax.I was very impressed with how quickly Michael got back to me, answered all my questions and was very professional. The mechanic even came out to answer questions from my sister. Michael emailed me the paperwork and the deal took only 1 week. I know other reviews have not been that great, but in dealing with Mike and Michael, I don't think it was their dealership who screwed up. These guys were great! read more

three businesses operate under this same address: Distinctive Marble and Granite, LS Development Systems and as the objective of this review Powell Motors LLC - all owned by the same person Chris Schnetzler. Powell Motors is the business i have dealt with today and they have done their very best to make me take the time out of my day to deserve this review. I am almost tempted to post the entire communication. It took me a four hours to get the person listing cars for Powell Motors on Craigslist in the category For Sale by Owner to admit that they were falsely advertising cars in this category and that they in fact do NOT hold a clean and clear title for that vehicle in their personal name. What a waste of time for all parties involved and another dealer trying to deceive people. Clearly violating the Craigslist TOU and clearly having no respect for anyone's time and wishes - clearly anyone looking under FSBO is looking for exactly that - a car for sale by a private individual. Whatever the reasons might be. This transaction again shows why i would never ever buy a car from a dealer - questionable ethics, disregards for the rules of a website they advertise on and of course 0 vehicle history. the number used in the ads is 614-356-0173. read more

Terrible place, terrible people, terrible service, terrible products. Do not ever buy a vehicle here, ever. They stock junker cars that can be fixed up to look good enough for a sale. They employ shady sales tactics like falsely advertising in the Craigslist private sales category for vehicles they do not actually have. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Seriously, do not EVER go here. If you take one of their vehicles to a qualified mechanic, you'll find that all of them are junkers that have been dressed up. read more

Just purchased an 07 Toyota Highlander for my folks I found on CarGurus from Mike & Tobin...the gentleman running Powell Automall. I don't know what happen previously with the 2 reviews that were negative but I couldn't have asked for better people to work with. They provided me a complete breakdown of the Carfax, showing the complete service history of the vehicle. They took the vehicle and had it serviced and detailed because they only had it a couple days on their lot. It was ready the next day. Fantastic customer service. No hassle and they didn't play the typical Car Salesman game. I have already sent my neighbor and her daughter over to see them. They are doing things the way they are supposed to be, Customer Driven and Listening...plus, my folks are extremely pleased with their Highlander. I certainly will be spreading the word to help these gentleman grow!!! read more
