Not sure why the high reviews. This place, on my first visit, the 'owner'? would not answer the buzzer when I showed up for my appointment. After several minutes, I poked my head into the service area and say this tall Indian man on his phone. He finally came to the desk only to tell me there was no mechanic. He may arrive later that morning. There were several pairs of keys on the desk of cars to be worked on. He still wanted me to leave my car but could not assure me my car would be worked on. Short story: No BS. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended. Long story: Was in a jam when my car needed jumped leaving work today. Went to a chain auto parts store and got the free scan to attempt to determine battery or alternator. They said it was a wash and the alternator needed bench tested. Called J&P an hour and they offered a free charge test with an honest opinion and interpretation. Battery tested low and said they'd be able to get me a new one from the NAPA warehouse within the hour. Battery showed up AFTER they closed and they stuck around until the job was done. Price was not too much more than what I would have paid to install myself and the warranty is solid. Can't say enough for their willingness to get the job done that night and to go above and beyond after hours! Greatly appreciate their hard work and courteous service! read more

This is a PSA about admitting when I am wrong. I took my truck to another auto shop because I couldn't get into J&P fast enough. The new auto shop advised I take my truck back to J&P for a follow up on a previous repair they did for me which the new auto shop was questioning if it was actually even performed. I did that, the owner immediately put it up on the rack, showed both my husband and I in detail what had been done, that the part itself was likely defective, and in addition produced their invoice from Napa for the new part they had in fact put on. Not only will they replace that part, while it was up in the rack they see that the other auto shop DID NOT tighten my left front lug nuts. My tire could have literally come off at any time! I could have been injured or died, possibly done the same to someone else. The bottom line here is J&P is a gracious, honest auto shop. They took the time right then and there to put it up on the rack and see what was happening, as well noticing something that could have ended in tragedy. This hidden gem is the place to go to get your car looked at and/or fixed. They are super friendly and straight forward. I have never felt talked down to or pushed into getting extra service done. I have gotten several service repairs and oil changes from them. read more

I have been working with J&P Autoworks for the past 5 years (since they opened) and am consistently impressed with the service, punctuality, and overall experience. They go out of their way to make sure your car is fixed, fixed right, and fixed the first time. Joey and Pavi are phenomenal people and mechanics. Over these years, we have had numerous cars sent to them. Each time, they were able to accurately diagnose the issue, and fix it in a manner that is cost effective without cutting corners. Now, anytime I have any car issue, they are my first line. As a "car nut" I even consult them on some issues, and they are more than happy to provide advice while I sometimes work on my vehicles at home. Amongst all of my experiences, I have also appreciated that they are humble. There was an issue with one vehicle that they could simply not pinpoint- Pavi (previously a Master Honda Mechanic), actually took the car to the dealership to get a second look. This was all on his own curiosity and cost. I have never met a mechanic (or dealer) who would have done such a thing. Now, we have recommended- at this point probably 40-50 friends and family to him. All of whom have made J&P their regular mechanic and recommend to their friends. It's sometimes hard to find a mechanic who understands more complex engines, and they work on all cars from Japanese imports to German machines. As they have grown, they have added services including local-pick up and drop off and a waiting area without compromising cost or service. Just took my car to J & P Autoworks and was totally impressed with the customer service and workmanship. From the moment I took the car to their shop, they were helpful and honest. My car was a 2005 Nissan with 100k miles on it. I didn't want to spend a lot of money to get it fixed so they went over every detail with me and even suggested what repairs could wait awhile to be fixed. They were very knowledgeable, explained everything to me with great detail making it easy for me to understand and were very reasonable in their prices. They could have gotten more money out of me, but it wasn't about the money but rather good old fashioned customer service. They obviously want to be fair and to get my business in the future and I will definitely be back. Hard to find a full service auto mechanic like this, but glad I found them! read more

I made an appointment with J&P to get my brakes looked at, and am very glad I did! Key points: I made an appointment and they were ready for me. They immediately diagnosed my car and were able to explain the issue without making me feel stupid. The entire team was friendly. Although it is a garage, it was very clean! I had work to get done and they let me use their wifi! While waiting on parts, they fully prepped my car so that by the time they arrived, they could leap into action. I was in and out in 2 hours. I've taken my 2001 Infiniti i30 here on multiple occasions and I promise you absolutely will not find better, faster, friendlier, honest service out there. They have done my starter, alternator and some electrical work upon other things over the past few years and I've been 100% satisfied with their work.
