My daughter caught a nail in her tire and told her to go to the nearest tire shop. She sent me a picture of the nail, which was on the tread about an inch from the sidewall. The rep told her it's unrepairable, and needs a new tire. I instructed her that the nail is in a repairable spot and to go down to Goodyear to get them to repair it. 15 minutes later and $20, tire is repaired. I needed air in my tires. I had visited 4 gas stations (!) with tire pressure inflators charging $2 for air, but NONE of which worked. They were all out of commission. I pulled in to Tire Discounters and they immediately filled up the tires with no charge, and with a smile. After a lot of thought I have decided that Tire Discounters does deserve the praise of a good car repair service in the northwest part of town. What brought me here was a check oil light. Needless did I know that this was a major issue caused by the same place I have been telling you messes everything up, Meineke. My oil should have not needed changed because I got that done a few months ago. Tire Discounters had to drain all the oil out and saw the gasket was just leaking oil. Which in turn showed I was driving with absolutely no oil in my car and damaging it. This by far is not safe, it's too bad I didn't keep the stuff Tire Discounters had to show Meineke of how bad the situation was. Needless to say, the guys here felt so sorry for me they tried their best to get the new part of the gasket in so my car wouldn't have any more issues. I was very much pleased with the customer service last night from inspecting the issue to explaining fully the issue and how they will take care of it. That is great customer service in my book. In addition, when it came time to pay for the service, we got a coupon for customer satisfaction which took $14 off the price of everything to install the gasket. I'm also very happy they got that oil in there on time. If you all don't know, some workplaces have a deal with Tire Discounters where you can get some money off your oil changes now. I was asked where I worked and that also helped lower the price of my oil change. So overall, this place completely changed me as a customer from somewhat not pleased to very pleased. I really value everything they did to make my car run smoothly. My car is much happier and so am I after taking it to this Tire Discounters. read more

Confirmed twice checking out that they had replaced a tire. They said twice they had. When I went out to my SUV and crawled under. When I told them they had not the manager (Russ) said "Oh, we should have probably told you" and then went into a long dissertation about what a great guy he was for giving me a discount (for work they didn't do that they told me they had). He then got all mad at me for telling him they should have told me they didn't do work instead of me having to crawl under my car. I'd think twice before going here. read more

Charged for a four wheel alignment on a car where nothing can be adjusted on the rear, and only the two tie rod end nuts can be adjusted. Camber and caster are not adjustable. Also there are "shop costs" as a hidden fee, tacking on an additional 10% above the ludicrous cost of $100 for loosening and tightening two nuts on a car. While verbally told of a year "warranty" for an alignment (yeah, right...a warranty on an alignment where they tighten the same two nuts as anyone else) nothing is in writing, making that also suspect. Can't recommend this place or their service. Absolute rip-off in terms of transparent disclosure (asking about additional fees and being told only tax), or being charged for "4 wheels" and not a typical front two wheels only, when that's the *only* thing barely adjustable. At least the toe angles are the same for both sides. read more

I brought my car in last week as I had gotten a nail through the top of my tire which came out of the side wall. Unfortunately, it couldn't be salvaged. I would give 5 stars, but my TPMS sensors did not get reprogrammed to their current locations. I only noticed because I checked my tire pressure. I checked because the truck drove as if the rear tires had too much pressure. I found the rear tires at 45psi and 47psi. The front tires were at 39 psi and 30 psi. The truck calls for 35psi. I run at 32psi. I feel this should not have been an issue. read more

The worst oil change experience. Horrible customer service. Never never go here. Manager is an over the hill mechanic who has no clue what customer service is. Patronizing and dismissive when he should have been apologetic. Made an appt for an oil change. Car sat an hour without being touched. Asked why make an appt if you dont honor them? They very rudely told me that I'd waste money for them to do what I was looking for and I said I still would like it done acted like I was an idiot to have my tiers rotated but scheduled an appointment for today then they took 2 hours 2! We arrived at Tire Discounters about 45 minutes before they were to close. Rick met us immediately. We had a flat tire we were hoping could be fixed but Rick quickly identified that this was not possible (once he showed us the area, we had no doubt). He then gave us several options for replacement tires and took time to explain each one. Once we made our choice he went right to work. Not only did he replace the tire, he took the time to place the spare where it belonged and went to work putting the puzzle that is our wheel cover and trunk lid (Prius). We were done and on the road within 45 minutes. Rick is very personable, thorough, polite and professional. I truly believe that he is the type of guy you build your franchise around. I bought two tires and had them check and fix alignment. A month later the steering wheel was vibrating on the highway and the car was veering hard to the left. I took it back. An older heavy set gentleman seemed annoyed when I explained the problem. He came out, looked at my tires for 5 seconds, and told me that I needed to change the older tires and that this was causing the vibration and veering to the left (???). My older tires were not worn out. I told him that didn't seem right. He stared at me and gave me my keys back as if saying "I am done here". I took the car to another tire shop. They checked and fixed the alignment (it was off) and my problem was solved. Not only did these people didn't want to honor their warranty, but they also wanted me to buy new tires. Either they were lying to me on purpose or have no idea how tires work. Shameful. read more

My service was for 4 new tires on my vehicle. The manager was very personable and checked in multiple times throughout the waiting time. Also, very conversational in which tires to choose i.e. no upselling. The only issue was the original time estimate was 2.5-3 hours whereas the actual time was closer to 5.5-6 hours. read more

Our family just left the zoo before a huge rain storm when we ran over something in the road. My tire started becoming flat on the parkway and was very lucky that Tirediscounters was right there. I was greeted immediately by Richard ("Rick") and he was super friendly....He took time to talk to me like a person, all the while making sure my car needs were met. He made me aware of the waiting room accommodations including the sitting area with a fridge of 16oz bottled water and even went as far as to let me know the coffee was brewed within the last 20 mins! Had never been here so I thought I would give them a look. Had a leaky rear tire. Took it there and they "rebuilt" the sensor. $30. The next day light back on tire still leaking. Took it back and they said they used Honda parts instead of Hyundai because they did not have Hyundai. Could not fix it then made and appointment for 3 pm. Went back and they said it would be 2 to 3 hours???? I said no thank you and reluctantly rescheduled for first thing tomorrow. We will see ho it goes then. First impressions are lasting impressions and I am not impressed!!!! read more

I am extremely not pleased at all with my experience there. I went by myself with the only intent to get my tire filled because a nail was in it. The guy who worked with me was extremely short tempered and seemed very annoyed. They took my car back to work on it then the guy comes back out and tells me that my breaks were locked up AND I WASNT ALLOWED TO LEAVE, mind you I'm 18, wondering what in the world to do. After calling my dad, and him talking to the guy, I was able to drive my car home. They gave me an estimate to get my car fixed and it was $558 and some change. So we took it to our mechanic and after he looked at my car, he said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my break pads and my breaks weren't locked up, and they were gonna charge me almost $600 for something that wasn't broken. And the only thing that was ACTUALLY wrong was minor, and would only cost about $200. I'm extremely upset with the service and the experience and I do not recommend. read more

I brought my car to have a small nail hole patched. Everything went well and I paid the $29. I took the car on vacation and the tire was still losing air. After returning from vacation, I brought the car back. I am now informed that I need 4 new tires and that I need to pay an additional $29 to have the same tire fixed because it is a different problem. Why was I not told on my first visit that I needed new tires? I had just had my tires checked at the dealership when my oil was changed and they found the leak in the tire. They never said I needed new tires and neither did my first visit to your establishment. Seems like just a scam to get people to pay for unnecessary charges. I will not bring anything back and I will not recommend anyone I know to go to this place. read more
