I talked to Jordan (owner/head mechanic, I think?) and Jennifer (store manager) on Tuesday for my '14.5 Camry, to see if it needed maintenance items such as spark plugs, brakes, etc. Car is fine otherwise but needed a tire pressure sensor light replaced. I wanted to get ahead of the curve on it. They were helpful and I was able to bring it in Saturday (today) for a diagnostic at 11 am. They had it done within a few hours and replaced the sensor, giving me honest updates about how my tires and brakes still had tread left and my spark plugs were great as of now. I didn't get up-charged for a service I didn't need and I got the car back by 330 pm in time for church. For a peace-of-mind check and getting that light turned off and sensor fixed, it was well worth the hours! I live nearby so I am lucky to walk to the store and back, saving an Uber, plus I'm grateful they are open on Saturday. Steve at the front desk was also very helpful and answered my questions about the coupons and other protocol so I know how to get the car serviced next time! I'll definitely bring it back! read more

Have been using BoyRad for 8 years. Happy with their service. I usually get my tires from them but sometimes order from tire rack and have them install. Also have most maintenance done by them. I have them use rebuilt parts on older cars and they have stood behind the parts. They have worked our cars in on short notice when for example we had a dead battery on the day we were leaving on a trip. All interactions I have seen there have been professional. read more

By far the WORST place you could take your car to. I took my car there to get an oil change and tires rotated. When they did the rotating they called me to tell me there was a nail in my tire, and would I like it fixed for $25? Sure. Then my balance was off the next week, so I called to see if they could fix that, but they said they would have the car for a long time, hours. I went to Tire Discounters instead and I had felt the call about the nail just sounded "off" for some reason so I had them check to see if there were any patches in my tires. Well, what do you know, no patches, but there WAS a nail! I went to Boy-Rad after talking to Goodyear corporate who said I should get the whole invoice refunded, a measly $97 since who knows if they even did the oil change. But, when I went back to Boy-Rad they refused, saying they don't give a damn about corporate and got very rude with me. I told them sorry, but I have lost trust in this business and feel the oil change should be refunded as well so I can take it somewhere else and be assured it is done correctly. They refused and then the lady instead of refunding me the phony tire repair charge, charged me for it again! Then said it was my fault for making her mad and if she wanted to she could have just said nothing and let me walk out! I couldn't believe these people. I told them it would probably be best if they just did the right thing. That is when the other guy behind the counter decided to join in and call me an ass and told me to get the hell out of their store. I told him he needs to learn how to talk to customers and he lunged out of his seat, got in my face (in front of a lobby full of customers) and followed me out of the store screaming at me, "We'll go outside and talk about how to talk to customers!" Then when we got outside he got within inches of my face screaming at me, "What are you going to do now, huh? Come on!" So at this point Boy-Rad is now threatening me with violence.. I couldn't believe it. They even had two cars blocking me in. I said I would leave if they didn't have me blocked in. They Guy tells me, "Drive over the Fxxxing curb!" At this point I had 911 ready to go on my phone and he finally stopped threatening with me violence and moved the cars so I could escape. These people are beyond horrible, can't own up to their mistakes and I would never recommend them to my worst enemy. read more

Rip off artists. Dropped my car off the same night after talking to Mike about rear end suspension noise. The next morning they claimed to have driven the car 3 times and couldn't hear anything. Invoice showed that everything checked out - struts, sway bar links, bushings, etc. charged me roughly $50! BTW, the lot was now full of cars ready to be serviced. I get in the car and immediately each turn I can hear the sound again "runk runk" on every turn. Now you tell me this- which is more likely? Three ass-clown attempts were made to drive the car, no noise found, and full inspection all performed before 8:45am...OR they simply didn't want to deal with a potential minor repair and charged me $50 F'n dollars to do NOTHING!? The next day I took the car to Tuffy on Smokey Row. First drive, they hear the noise and acknowledge it. (Yeah, no sh!t). Within an hour they discovered the sway bar bracket had come loose, and bolt was also rusted up pretty bad. Fixed it up and now drives like a NEW car. They are amazing dedicated to fixing your issue and the grand total was only $141. Do you think I will EVER return to Boy Rad Goodyear, or recommend them to anyone?? My $50 lost to these crocks was a life lesson. They will charge you $ to NOT look at your car. Great shady business model. Beware!! read more

Took my car in for an alignment. Told them it had all new suspension parts that I installed my self. Came back to pick up the car and they wanted to charge me $47.50 to visually inspect my car to see that everything was in place plus the alignment fee. This is the only shop I have ever been that charges for that. I got into an argument with the stupid manager and then he removed that fee. This is definitely the worst shop I have ever been to. I have had my back brakes redo twice now by this company. After the first year of use, the emergency brake would not release caused by faulty back brakes. The breaks were under warranty and they "fixed them". With in one day, the sticky emergency break returned. The emergency brake is still sticky and the back breaks are locked up. I am without a car and the company refuses to pay for a tow and will not acknowledge that it is their problem. read more

Multiple experiences with Horrible customer service and inflated prices! Examples: 1. Wife needed transmission replaced. Took her car to Boy-Rad, and they told her it was going to cost $3000 for a used transmission with 70,000 miles. She was willing to do it and even pulled the money from her 401k. After 2 weeks of not having a car, she called them and they had forgot to order it!!! She then called around and found a local shop that would give her a newly rebuilt transmission (0 miles), installed and back to her in 2 days for $2000.... When she called Boy-Rad to say she was taking it elsewhere, this Unprofessional jerk actually hung up on her!!!! 2. Called to get a quote on wheel barring replacement. The price quoted was over 2x the cost of the others I had gotten. When I asked why, the representative hung up on me! For everyone that gave them a good rating, try calling around for additional estimates next time and see if you feel the same afterwards! These people are destroying a reputable name like "Goodyear"!!! read more

Good place to take your car if you want to hear excuses. If you want to get your car fixed this is the worst service center. A week ago I had a flat tire and dropped the car off using the night drop off. On Friday morning they called and said the wheel was cracked and they ordered one telling me it would be ready the next day. Then they told me it would be Monday before they would get the wheel. On Monday they told me the used the wrong credit card to order the wheel so it would be Tuesday before they would get the wheel. On Tuesday they claimed the fed ex truck did not get there before they closed but it would be there Wednesday. On Wednesday they told me the wheel came in, but they had sent the wrong size and they would have the wheel on Thursday. I was told it would take 10 minutes to put the new wheel on. It took 90 minutes to get the wheel on. Before I got to the street the low tire light came on. My previous experience with them I got brakes put on. I had to take it back in 3 times before the finally got it so the brakes did not make noise every time I stopped. read more

First off - I've been a long time customer here, thick or thin I've gone to this place because they've seemed like a bunch of competent individuals. Unfortunately, with this latest event - I think I've finally learned my lesson. If you're going here for an oil change or a new tire, I think it's perfectly fine to handle those simple services - but if you are attempting anything more complex I would recommend you go elsewhere. Their prices are, at the very least, inflated. In many instances they recommend unneeded maintenance and repairs while overcharging for labor and maintenance. My most recent experience had them replace by breaks and rotors which cost $500+. Any reasonable mechanic will tell you that for a simple Corolla this is a bit steep. Furthermore, I kept the rotors after my repair and had a mechanic friend look them over. He told me they had at least 25k more miles left in them and he didn't see any discernible wear that would be of a concern. My recommendation: go here if you want the tire rotation or oil change but DO NOT go here if you require maintenance. If they see you as an easy target they will gauge you for whatever they think they can get away with. Buyer Beware. read more

They sold me a $120 stem and while I waited I listened to "Jen and Ashley" yell and swear at each other behind an office door for an hour calling each other the f bomb, c word, and b word. Then I took my car home the tire went flat again and they said "I guess it was a hole in the tire. No refund, no sorry. When I told Jen I had to listen to her scream at the other lady..she screamed at me..and Ron told me he screamed at one of the workers about not fixing my tire right..scary place. i've lived in dublin on and off for four years, and finally being back near a trustable auto service is a blessing. I've had everything from a flat tire, to a bad alternator, to a tire which was just not sealed entirely and leaking air slowly, all handled very well by the staff, applying discounts when prompted and not. They're extremely helpful, even if just talking with them about your issue via phone or in person about what the cause of the problem might be. Jen and Jeff are great, ten times over. read more

I have been taking my car here ever since I got it, as well as my car before that. It has been from everything as simple as an oil change to actual mechanical work. I have now moved from the area and drive back here just to have my car worked on here because you simply cannot beat the trustworthiness and customer service of this shop! I have never felt like I was getting ripped off or lied to, which is extremely important as a female taking her car to a shop. The staff always remembers who I am no matter how long it is between visits and even that I have animals! Recently I ran into some car trouble and they had my car overnight - they only charged me for an hour and a half of labor, gave me a coupon discount, had the part there the next day, and even offered to help me find alternative transportation in the meantime if I needed it. Incredibly terrible company. Worst company I have ever done business with. Bought new tires there, and good ones at that, they broke my TMP monitoring on my car which they never fixed and had nothing but trouble with the tires. Brought it back two times in which they replaced out my tires with "almost new" tires. Both tires had holes in them. They refused to do anything about it. In fact yelled at me and hung up on me. I live in the community and have been loyal to them for years. You would think with the power of social media they would do the right thing.
