I Had a terrible experience at this location, DO NOT GO! I dropped off my car at 11am which was my appointment time a month ago and they told me it'll be ready in about 2 hours. I was there for 4 new tires, an alignment, and free oil change. I gave it 2 hours and came back. My car hadn't been moved or even touched. Then they tell me to give it a few hours and they'd give me a call once it was ready. I went back home and gave them 4 hours till I called and asked about my car. They told me my car was ready and they don't know why nobody had called me. I showed up for the 3rd time in one day and as they are looking over my paperwork, they say someone forgot to do my alignment. The front counter guy told me that if I bring it in the next day, they'll take care of it. I was a little frustrated because I waited all day, paid $650, and didn't get what I paid for. I left there and the moment I got on the highway, my tires started making a terrible noise that I've never heard before. It sounded so bad, I thought my car was about to break down. I called the store back and told them about my issue and they told me to bring it back so they could take a look at it. Once I got there, they had no idea what it could be. I had to leave my car there for the 4th time that day because I had a family event to attend. Shortly after arriving to my family event, I get a call from tire discounters and they say that they found the problem. They said they accidentally put the wrong size tires on my care and I was going to have to pay over an extra $200 for the right size tires. After all this inconvenience, I asked the manager Mike to please put my old tires back on and to start processing a refund for me. He said that gonna be a tricky thing to do because corporate has to get involved and I said I didn't care, you didn't do the job I paid for and I want my money back. Finally, Mike sends a email to corporate and tells me it'll take 7-15 business days. I take my care the Stringer repair shop and they tell me that I'm missing 2 lug bolts from my rim and have to pay an extra $16 for 2 new lugs. It's now been a month since that day and I still don't have my $650 refund check and I just got off the phone with manager Mike and he still can't give me an answer on why I haven't received my refund check. This has been the worst experience I've ever had and I highly recommend not to come to this store. Stringer auto repair in Johnstown took care of my car and I had no issues with them. Very frustrating experience. I wanted to take the cheap way out and go with tire discounters but ended up paying double. Don't make the same mistake I made. read more

This store is absolutely aweful. We purchased new tires in March and the 2 front tires leaked from the day they were installed. I took the car into the shop today to get the issue resolved and was accused of the vehicle not being mine. The license plate and odometer they recorded was both wrong. I had to agrue with them and finally we reviewed the VIN number and I got the original invoice out of the glove box to show them. They then said they had made a mistake and would fix the tires. So I go home and they call me and ask where the tire lock key was located. I said its in the glove box. The manager told me the key is not in the glove box. I told him it had to be because his store replaced the last set of tires in March! The car only had roughly 19,000 miles when we had the tires replaced and those were the original tires. In March, Tire Discounters used the key to take off the original tires to replace them with the new set we bought. They never gave us the key back!! The manager then tells me there is nothing he can do and he cant fix the tires unless he has the key. At that point, I got mad and started getting upset. He tells me he will pass it up the chain and maybe they will go and purchase a new key from the dealership if they approve it. I told him that wont work because the tires need to be fixed and their crew took it and never gave it back. He then tells me that that prior crew was all fired and he cant do anything and he wont fix the tires or go and buy a new key. He then hung up on me. Aweful service. I got the car back and it was making a horrible noise that was not happening before. 2 drives later the engine completely shut down on me. I got it towed back to their store to get a refund and they claim there is nothing they did to mess up the engine. It was already failing they said. But they let me pay for a repair the car didn't need if the engine was failing. They would not give me a refund. This afternoon (Saturday of Memorial Day weekend) one of the tires ran over something which caused a flat so today was new tire time. I dropped my vehicle off, chose the new tires I wanted, and explained that I fully expected to pick it up on Tuesday after the holiday. I don't understand why you aren't able to check on financing until you have already had the tires installed and your ready to leave.. I took my car there about a year ago and thought I needed new brakes and Anthony told me I only needed brake fluid. Very frustrating experience. I scheduled an oil change online, a week in advance. When choosing any appointment option online you need to select a preferred appointment time, and then you submit your request for an appointment. I requested a late afternoon drop off appointment. The following day, I received an email confirming my appointment, with no instructions other than that I had a drop off appointment scheduled, and there was a note at the bottom suggesting you typically need to drop off by 10 am to get your vehicle back same day. Considering I chose an afternoon appointment and was instructed with no specific time frame for drop off, I was under the assumption I could drop off any time before close and have it back some time next day. I even called in the day prior to confirm that I would be able to drop off after work and have it back in the morning hours tomorrow. -- ultimately, when I went in for my drop off this afternoon, I was met with a very condescending and unapologetic employee. When I let her know I was In to drop off she, rolled her eyes and let me know my appointment was supposed to be today. Confused at this I replied yes. Which is when she explained that I needed to have my car in by 10 am to receive any work today or tomorrow. I tried to explain the situation and lack of communication I had received explaining this. Rather than being met with any sympathy or solution oriented dialogue, I was left with continued eye rolls and affirmation that it was my fault I'm in this situation and there's nothing they want to do. The fact that they didn't even want to try and reschedule something, let alone take any ownership for the situation reflects incredibly poor customer service and entrepreneurial spirit.
