He even pulled one of the hubcaps off and put it back on because it was crooked. When I told him I was super impressed with his work and the manner he portrayed himself. I cannot thank Discount Tire enough for their phenomenal service yesterday! One of my tires had been leaking air for about 3 weeks now, and the extreme cold exacerbated this. I had taken my car to another repair shop about a week ago who told me it needed new tire sensors, quoted me $200, but I was leery and wanted a second opinion. Then tried Discount Tire as I saw they had great reviews. Despite a lobby full of customers, they looked at it and gave me an answer within 30 minutes. Said that my tire valve stem was broken, and they replaced it at no cost to me! I couldn't believe it. In this day and age where nothing is free and it's a struggle to keep up with rent, groceries, bills and everything else, I can't stress how much that was truly appreciated. Made a reservation this past week. Arri Ed 25 minutes before my scheduled time waited in line for 10 minutes while the assistant manager and a second rep assisted 2 Customers. So I sat down until they were finished. When I began my return to the Asst Mgr desk another Customer cut me off and she was helped immediately. Then when I got my turn, I told the assistant manager that I had an appointment at 1:15; his response was well, it's 1:45,,to which I responded I'd been there since 1:05. He then checked my cars tire pressure and said, someone would take my car into the bay. My car wasn't taken into the bay until 2:40. WHY DO YOU REQUIRE APPOINTMENTS? Update: They did reach out and take care of the other sensors. The wait was an hour. Waited two and a half hours with an appointment. Everyone that came in was told one hour. Just quote an accurate time. At one point the bay was completely empty with 5 guys standing around. After appointment, driving home TPMS light comes on. Call a few days later to see if I need an appointment to get it fixed. They said they weren't busy bring it in. Was told 45-1 hour. A sensors battery was dead and needed replaced. An hour passes and I ask about my car again, they take it in and fix it, bring my car up and just want to let me know another one has a low battery. Why wasn't I told?!? I would have had it done at the same time! My previous experience they put the wrong size tire on my car which I could clearly see before I walked out of the building. Ridiculous. read more

I was a big fan of Discount Tire until when earlier this week, one of the salesman/technician (at the Easton location) tried to sell me a tire that I did not need. I have a new car with about 3400 miles and I had a flat tire. To get to the dealership, I had to drive down the road about 2 miles. He tried to tell me that I destroyed the tire by doing so. I could not see where there was any damage and I certainly did not want to spend $200 on a tire. Then, something told me to take my tire to The dealership where I purchased the car for a second opinion. They inspected the tire and patched it up and sent me on my way. They shared that a new tire was not needed and that they were glad I came to them. Founder Bruce Halle would not have condoned this behavior from his worker and this goes against everything he stood for. SHAME on them! I am pleased to say that the store manager did reach out and explained that he made the decision that the tire was not safe to drive and he still did not agree with the dealership's decision so they are going to replace the tire, no charge so I would be safe. If you have a problem with your tire they will give you another tire no questions asked no paperwork. 2. They are attentive and look professional. 3. They support military and give military discount. The only thing I don't like is that they move tires around to what they think is best, not what you think is best. They like to put your good tires to the back instead of the front but the have the best warranty in town and they are all over the country, so it makes it a very valuable warranty. read more

My car is not equipped with a spare tire (not even a donut) and a jack. I didn't realize this when I bought the car and only discovered it when I had my first flat tire. Ever since that 1st flat, I've been meaning to buy a spare tire but never got around to it. Then, I had my 2nd flat and after spending 4 hours sitting along the side of the road (11p to 3am), I finally decided that it was time to get a spare. Surprisingly, most local tire stores sell only tires and not the wheels or rims. Most referred to either back to the dealer or to the internet to buy a rim. I did check with the dealer but sort of chocked when they quoted $600 for a rim. After a lot of calls, I found Discount Tire and was happy to hear that they DID sell rims. I was able to get a plain black rim (not a fancy one like the others on the car but this is for a spare tire) for $75. When I arrived, the guy at the counter remembered my call and pulled up my information on the computer. I was buying both the rim and a tire. They had the tire mounted and in my trunk in less than 35 minutes. The store is bright and spacious with a comfortable customer waiting area.
