I went there to get new tires. They didn't have the ones i wanted in stock. They were able to quickly ship tires from a store nearby. They were very kind and quick to get my order. I asked them to be done by a certain time because of another arrangement. They were able to accommodate and stayed in contact with me to inform me that it would be done on time. I had my recently purchased Subaru in for a safety check and oil change about a month ago. After the oil change, they found that the oil was overfilled from the last oil change. Luckily that solved my engine lugging problem. But since then, I found a slow oil leak. They fixed it the first time but I found it was still leaking. So I brought it in and they fixed it again. But unfortunately it was still leaking. At this point, most people would be mad, but as a mechanic myself, I know things happen and the fix isn't always straightforward. Well, on the third time, they found a band aid repair by the dealer. So now I was frustrated, but not at Tire Discounters. They had my car for a week as they worked on fixing it. Then finally they called and it was fixed! And to top it off, no charge. They wanted to make it right. I'll definitely be back as they went above and beyond to make this customer happy. read more

Horrible customer service. They have no care for your time. I made an appointment a week ago for an BASIC OIL CHANGE for 8am and my car was not even brought into the garage until 9:50 because of services that they didn't finish from yesterday. No heads up, no information to change appointment, nothing. I called and asked the worker got very shitty with me and said I don't understand that things can't just be don't in 15 minutes, but didn't even get my car in the garage until almost 2 hours after the appointment. With 0 explanations, or even an apology; he gave me the number for customer service and when I asked for his name multiples times he ignored me and hung up on me. I will never go back to this place, and I will be calling again the speak to someone hire up. A simple apology and understanding can go along way, but ignoring people who made an appointment for 2 hours is unacceptable!! read more

Great customer service, honest employees, and great service overall. I got all four tires of my Honda Civic replaced at Tire Discounters (Bethel Rd, OH). I also requested for brake inspection because of a persistent noise from my rear brake. The service guys at Tire Discounters advised me to have the brakes redone at the last place that did my brakes, because the brakes looked new and didn't need replaced. Because of their honest and accurate advice, I was able to have Honda redo my brakes and get the noise fixed, with no charge to me. Thank you very much for the great service. read more

A Walmart TLE told me that my tire could not be patched and I would have to buy four new tires (he would not allow me to buy two tires, he said the company would not allow it because it could ruin my drive-train). I took my car over to Tire Discounters, where I was helped by Doug. I asked him if my tire could be patched, he looked at it and said he felt it could be patched. I recently purchased 2 tires and an alignment at the Georgesville Rd location in Columbus Ohio. The salesman named Drew was the one who sold me the tires. The reason I needed tires was because the alignment was out and ruined the other tires. When paying and collecting my keys I thought to myself , as Drew was folding up the paperwork and stuffing it in the envelope, he didn't share any information with me about the alignment or anything else. I left and realized the alignment seemed to be worse than before. It was late so I went home. I looked at the paperwork and the alignment results said the alignment was still way off. I took it back a day or 2 later and Josh another salesman had the mechanic fix the alignment properly this time. I mentioned the fact that Drew never offered road hazard warranty to me and I wanted it for my tires, but that got pushed aside probably due to me being so upset about everything else. So now I have a screw in a place where it cannot be repaired and I have to buy another tire, because of Drew's incompetence. It won't be from Tire Discounters though. Thanks Josh for picking up Drew's slack and making the alignment right for me. This is my experience. I hope yours is better, but I wouldn't chance it. read more

I would have given 4 or 5 stars but just needed to address how appointment setting situation. I typically always go to a dealership, but only needed a tire balance for my vehicle. The gentleman who helped me was quick, to the point (which I like), and got me helped out the best he could. That being said I called in Monday around 10am attempted to make an appointment and was told to come in to make one. I came in next day to around the same time and made an appointment for 8am on Thursday. When I arrived my information was never entered into the system, and as a result a first time customer had to wait almost 3 hours for a tire balance. If I took my car to the dealer with a coupon it would have not only been cheaper, but also would have gotten in and out faster. I was not impressed with this at all. read more

The manager was honest with us and recommended to my wife that because her car has low miles and isn't driven often she doesn't need to have the oil changed as often. After 2 weeks, sent the actual employees who DROVE the truck to the garage when it was taken in for repairs, to pick it up. It can't be picked up because now the truck does not run at all. So we drove it onto the lot for repairs and now have to tow it off! Recorded phone calls document numerous lies. This was the first time at this location. I had a flat and went there to get it fixed. They were busy when I got there. I had to wait a bit to get to talk to someone. When I did it went pretty quick. The person had me fill out paperwork and came out to the car and got the tire. He found the hole quickly and told me how it would be repaired. The only issue I had with this interaction is that I was not informed of the cost of service. Due to being busy I had to wait till the next day to get the tire. When I called the next morning I was told they had not started and that they would call when complete. I got the call it was complete about an hour later. I went back to the store and again had to wait to talk to someone. When I did they did take care of it quickly. The person pulled my car in and put the tire on for me and put the spare back into the trunk. The only thing I wish the guy would have done while he had the care up is to check the other tires air pressure. Just a quick little thing that would show the above and beyond attitude would go a long way. read more

Came here w a bad tire and I'm still driving on it. Apparently it doesn't matter if my "tiers" are safe or not it matters whether or not they can close at seven. Made it there at 6:45 not knowing that they close at seven but knowing that they must close soon, I understand that. They did fill up my tire with air and told me they could keep my car overnight - like yeah who can do that like I need my car. Either way I was still there before seven and they didn't take care of me or even acted like they cared weather I was safe or not. In fact when I pulled up to get my tire tire filled with air the guy acted like it was the end of the earth and wanted to make sure that my tire didn't need to be worked on. People who review tire places for being slow are people that will never be satisfied. We left the car. They would have had it done in a few hours but we added the breaks and picked it up the next morning. It was a brand new vehicle. Went to is location due to the ice storm. Steve was working the counter and he must've been having a terrible morning b/c he did not greet me, he assumed that I was going to leave my car, simply to swap out tires, that we're already mounted mind-you. I said I wanted to wait, he asked if I was prepared to wait for about 3 hours, that's how "backed up" they were. I got there 30 mins after they opened, there were, indeed 3 ppl there already ostensibly getting work done, but to swap tires out would not take THAT long. Regardless, Steve was not happy, not sure if it was b/c he knew he was going to have a shite day or if he really just needs an attitude adjustment. Nevertheless, I agreed to drop it off. The folks waiting there and I were all in agreement that Steve was having a rough morning; he was condescending, he didn't greet any of the customers, I had to repeat my name twice, as well as spell it out. I listened to him talk to other customers and he was just as bad. You don't just tell someone that they've bent a rim w/o softening the blow a bit, I mean have some sort of finesse. My husband comes to pick me up, around 9, I see my car being pulled in the garage-must not have really been three hours behind- but I leave, thinking I'll get a call when the car's done. At 11:30, I call THEM, ask if my car's ready. Steve answers and says "Oh, yeah, it's ready" as thought I should have known by magic! I said, "Ok b/c I had been expecting a phone call", Steve said "Ok", then hung up. When I walked in to pick up my car, he said nothing, other than, "Let me get your paperwork", I got my copy, thanked him and was on my way. All I can say is that Steve acted like the whole thing was a bother, Jim was not much better and I won't be back. have learned my lesson and will continue to travel FARTHER and go to the Fishinger Rd store. As always, I love this place. I was sorry to see the customer have a bad interaction with Steve. He can be..hit or miss. However, Jim has been taking care of me for over 4 years now. Today, Dave called me with a quote, answered all my questions, and even offered to run to my work (around the corner) to pick me up and bring me to the shop to pick up my car when it's ready. I've had so-so days with them, but overall, I've never been treated unfairly and their prices are the most affordable for a shop chain. Highly recommend them for anyone!
