Pour deserves 5 stars for just existing in Northern Westchester! I mean, how may cool, sophisticated wine bars do we have. Add to this that the wine, beer and other alcohol are excellent, plus the small plates are terrific, well the 5 stars are well earned. My one fear is that this place needs more support so it won't close. read more

Anthony is the wonderful and gracious owner of this establishment. He is one of the few business owners who actively inquires and cares about his patrons experience at Pour. After reading my critical review of my experience at Pour, he offered his sincere apologies for the night I was there and asked me to come again for the true Pour experience. And I have to say I'[m glad I did come back to Pour. What is exceptional about Pour is it is a very sophisticated, urbane and European-like lounge in the middle of the suburbs. Anthony seems very knowledge about all that is offered on the Pour menu. The wine and alcohol list is extensive and offers patrons a wide selection of new choices. A variable menu of unique tapas/ desserts are not only delicious but well portioned for sharing among friends. This is a place where you would want to bring friends from the city to. In Mt. Kisco this is a gem of a place where you can sample wonderful and exotic food and drink and enjoy a conversation with friends in an intimate and comfortable setting. read more

I had been to Pour a few times over the past few years and loved it every time. When my 29th birthday was approaching, I thought it would be a nice place to have my party. I contacted Anthony to see if they could accommodate a group about 15-20 and was thrilled that he said they could. He gave us a few options for ordering, as they're a small location & we were a big group, so we decided to place our food order beforehand which was the best option for us and I just sent my guests the website link so they could choose. I had 16 people total & we were given an entire room for our party which was amazing since we were able to move around and not be squashed at a single table. Service was lovely and attentive and our food was not only delicious but came out as it was ready which was perfect since it was like a constant parade of deliciousness. Everyone in the group commented how amazing the evening was - total birthday success!!! I would 100% recommend Pour to anyone & plan to visit again very soon! read more

What an unexpected find. We were in Mt Kisco to do some shopping. Afterward we wanted to have a drink to celebrate. I looked on Yelp for someplace cool. Pour was well rated and looked intriguing. We went there and we were the first patrons of the evening. The parking lot was empty and we weren't even sure they were open. I am really happy that they were. The ambiance was great. James at the bar was awesome. Very helpful and informative. The wine and liquor selection was eclectic and top notch. So much so that I took notes on some of the brands and that I look forward to adding to my bar at home. My only complaint is that Pour is 21 miles from my house. We had a great time and now have a reason to visit Mt Kisco again soon. read more

Pour is a great little spot in the heart of Mt. Kisco. Not only do they have a great lot, they have a porch! The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. The food is delicious- don't be fooled by the description. You will definitely have enough to eat! The home-made toffee is amazing. And on top of that, they have absinthe, served the traditional way with water dripper. The lighting is low and cozy, as are the seats and tables (which could be difficult for people with bad knees). There's a general feel of being in someone's really well-decorated living room, enjoying wine and food with friends. Great wines, great whiskeys and more. You can't get much better (if at all) in northern Westchester. read more

Cool place to chill. Great selection of high-end booze. The food took a back seat but this is an "after dinner" type place so I get it. Decent cheese selection with super thin exotic cold cuts. Not much else got our attention besides the weird choice of music and odd service. Music - As a musician and major music lover you'd think I'd love the mix but it ABSOLUTELY did not fit the vibe of the place. What should be ambient, lounge, chill out with some trippy grooves and beats was instead what seemed like one of the owner's private iPod mixes of odd selections which included Metallica and other awkward choices that I can't remember now. Every song invoked the same perplexed response from everyone in our group. Relaxed sophisticated lounge atmosphere, exotic spirits and cheeses and METALLICA?!?! Service - One of the owners was relaxed and very welcoming (the shorter one with dark hair) but the other one seemed like this was not what he wanted to do. Being it was our first time and we arrived around 6:30-7 pm on a Saturday which was considered early for this kind of place, I naively commented "where is everybody and how long has this place been here." The nicer owner took it as an opportunity to explain what made their place unique and different while the taller one seemed aggravated that I made such an uninformed comment. He then hovered over us for the first half of the evening in an uncomfortable way and was constantly asking if he could clear what was obviously and unfinished platter of food or if we needed another drink. Dude, it's our first time here, we're spending around $250 for some fancy booze and cold cuts so BACK OFF yo! read more

Hosted a ladies night here last Friday and it was great! Special care provided by Anthony for our cozy section with a simple call ahead conversation. All wines were delicious and each person ordered a small plate that was shared amongst a group of diverse eaters. In particular the Brussel Sprouts, Artichokes, Chick Pea Bites, Hummus Trio, and Mushroom Flatbread pizza were loved by all. Also, let's not forget our server who could not be nicer or more attentive and managed to keep 9 separate checks organized and correct. read more

Not knowing the neighborhood that much anymore I found this place via Yelp. Couldn't have picked a better spot for meeting up with a friend to catch up. It was later in the evening and parking was available in the back. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing and we had our choice of seating. The decor takes into account the details, such as the magnifying glasses used with the scones, really cool! The choice of wines was diverse and well labeled. I cannot comment on the food since we only had drinks. Our server was prompt and the host was very accommodating. There was a variety of seating available: bar, high table, lower table, lounge area. The space is the ground floor of a standalone house. I will definitely be going again next I am in town for a visit! read more

Very quiet and chill place. Wine is great - i was given tastes of things not on the menu, for a glass of wine. Very professional. We snacked a bit. The goat cheese is amazing. Unfortunately they had a large party come in after us and then we never saw the server agoan. Had to track him down for drinks and a check after that. They need to plan for that. Couldn't have asked for a better night! Hosted a 40th birthday party here for about 30 guests. Anthony and his staff were incredibly accommodating. I expected the drinks to be as good as they were but what took it over the top was the food...Thoughtful and delicious small plates with a lot of flavor. As soon as you walk in theres just a sheet, then you walk in and theres like these very little tables. their wine and liquer selection were great but were not wine or liquer people. Just the way the whole thing was set up was very weird. Beer selection was ok. If your going here to eat stay away. read more

Nice ambiance and good service. We ordered 3 different wines ranging in price from $12-$16: Italian Piedmont, Washington State Pinot and a Cote du Rhone. They were all disappointing, mostly one note wines similar to a house wine. Small plates of meatballs and Catalan bread were good but very small. read more

I went to Pour with my boyfriend a little while ago for some wine and appetizers. We got there around 7pm and there were only a couple people there. The guy greeting us and hosting us asked us where we wanted to sit and how long we were staying. Since we were planning on ordering a bottle we wanted to stay for a while. He informed us that a private party would be taking up half of the place at 9pm so we should choose to sit on the other side of the restaurant. We went to share a small booth together and the guy was upset with us for choosing the booth and let us know that if a big party came in we would have to move. I guess he either wanted us to sit at the bar or just leave -- even though there was only one other couple in the entire place so far. We were automatically very put off that we couldn't sit. We had to agree to move/share if a larger party came in -- and that is the only reason this place doesn't get five stars. Our actual server was extremely accommodating and friendly. The wine was delicious, and the snacks we ordered were very nice too. Excellent atmosphere and service with the exception of the greeter who made us feel the opposite of welcome. read more

Just had my husband's 50th birthday party at Pour and it was wonderful. We had a small intimate cocktail party for 45 pp and it was perfect. Very homey, cool vibe. Anthony is a sweetheart too. The food was delicious and drinks flowed nicely. Anthony made the planning a breeze, was extremely accomodating. We had 3 stations and a raw bar, plus passed h'd's and they were all great. Pour is one of the best bars in Westchester without a doubt. Great for a date night, an after dinner drink, or to hang out with friends. You can go in alone and know everyone by the end of the night. Anthony, the owner makes you feel at home from the moment you enter Pour. The wine is exceptional, the food is fantastic and the unique liquor will keep you coming back. Very mixed review honestly. Service was not good at all. To be fair it was one lady but there was only about four tables. We sat down and said we were ready to order but she only took our drink order. She dropped the drinks off quickly and didn't even get our order. We had water on the side which did come in a very cute glass but it tasted like actual wood... WOOD I tell you. The same song "I got a big fat mama" was on repeat for our entire meal that did give my friend and I a headache. We then order the cheese platter which I very much enjoyed being a cheese fanatic. They complemented the cheese very well with the nuts and apricots. The Brussels sprouts were an A+. But the white bean dip and baked artichoke was not so great. Very below average to say the least. I am impressed with the environment. We then ask for the check and didn't get it until at least 10 minutes later and then another 10 minutes after we gave our cards. Throughout the meal the waitress did say sorry a few times which was nice but still not ok. We felt that we were forgot about a lot throughout the night due that we were younger then all the other tables. We did receive complementary chocolate due to our patients which was very nice. It is a lovely getaway that takes you back a few decades due to the environment. I just wish there was better service was better along with the food. read more
