    Restaurant is in Radisson

Went for lunch yesterday with my friend after walking at beaver lake. It's not really that far from beaver lake but was glad I had gps because I'm not familiar with the back roads. The place wasn't crowded around 1:00 and we were seated promptly. The bartender was also the waitress which is getting more and more prominent. We wanted to sit outside but she warned us the bees have been really bad on the deck so we opted for a high top near the window. We had a good view of the golf course. The menu is pretty extensive but I ordered the Reuben sandwich with fries and my friend the mushroom bacon burger with fries. Both were excellent. For me the Reuben was up there with the best I've had in Syracuse. My friend loved her burger and was cooked perfectly at medium for her. We both had enough for leftovers to bring home. Service was excellent also. We are going back again next Friday we liked it that much!!!

Formerly the Radisson Ale House, the small bar/restaurant located at the Radisson Greens Golf Course is now Potters Pub and under new management. While serving as a watering hole for the golf course, it also is a gathering place for people of all ages from the 2000 households in the Radisson community serving pub food and libations. Myself and a friend had an appointment in the Baldwinsville area, and wanted to grab a quick dinner beforehand. Not knowing Bville all that well, we took to Yelp and came across Potters Pub, which seemed to have good reviews, so we figured we'd give it a shot. First off, we did not realize it was at a gold course until we arrived. We were a little concerned as to whether or not there was a dress code, with it being on a golf course, but we entered anyway and, while we got a couple of side looks, our outfits didn't seem to be an issue. It was about 5:30 on a Wednesday and the pub was pretty empty. It is a very nicely decorated, clean pub, with a fireplace and wood floors. We sat ourselves and were waited on immediately by our server, who brought us the menu and took our drink order. She was friendly for the most part, but seemed a little stand offish at times. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich, as I try buffalo chicken anything no matter where I go. My buddy went with a buffalo chicken wrap. Our food seemed to take a while for what it was and the fact that the place was empty, at least a half hour. Unfortunately, when it was delivered, neither of us were impressed. My sandwich was just frozen chicken tenders and mozzarella cheese on a very hard and crusty roll. I had to ask for ranch dressing, lettuce and tomato so it wasn't such a simple sandwich, and a side of the hot sauce since the tenders were barely covered in it. The sandwich was just ok...nothing special about it. My buddy agreed about his wrap, but he very much enjoyed the fries it came with. Prices were fair, just the food wasn't anything to be desired. Wouldn't go back if I were in the area.

When my son's game at a local indoor center ran over by almost 30 minutes, I called and told them we would be late. They accommodated us and seated us immediately upon arrival. About 10 minutes later, at 8pm, the live music started. It was wonderful music, but where we were seated was in front of the speakers and two of our party wear hearing aides. When it looked like we were going to have to cut our celebration short, our server, the wonderful Marcy, and another gentleman, worked to get us seating in the lower dining room in front. We were so grateful for the accommodations, and everyone was super nice about it. The food and drinks were outstanding, of course. Our party ordered the chicken bowl, the chippy chicken, the curd burger, a cheeseburger, and the turkey avocado. Everyone was silent as they ate! The service was friendly and impeccable (even when we really weren't being easy customers), and our night, which could have gone south so quickly, was made! And hopefully a younger, hipper crew moved into our table and enjoyed the wonderful music! The band was great and we really enjoyed it still from where we ended up! So cheers to the staff at AG! We will be back (and know where to ask to sit next time! Haha)!!

It's a cool spot- restaurant on the ground floor, and upstairs they sell different things made locally, and also clothes. It was fun to walk around while the food was being made. Our server was Kara, and she was awesome! My nephew has a peanut allergy so she was checking in on the entire order and sides to be sure we were in the clear! She was so helpful and friendly, even when there was an issue it wasn't a giant deal. My nephew and I started out by looking at the protein shake menu. I chose the green goddess protein shake, and he went with the cocoa Berry. Let me just say that mine was so good I finished it quickly. Nephew ordered the garlic sweet chili hummus appetizer to start. It came with freshly cut pita quarters, carrots, and strips of yellow and red peppers. Fresh, crunchy, hummus was absolutely addictively delicious and more than enough to share! He then got the pesto panini, my older brother ended up landing on the Italian panini (they sold out of the corned beef). He also got the soup special, stuffed cabbage soup and that looked really delicious and piping hot. Lots of cabbage and meat along with the broth. I had FOMO for sure. One panini came with a side salad, the other chose the tomato, onion, and cucumber salad that came with balsamic. So tasty I tried it later bc we took it to go, and I ate it all! Really great atmosphere and concept. On our way out we had a conversation with the manager/owner, and it was really pleasant. The weather was awful, but our stop here was a bright beacon and a memorable stop. Support small owned businesses!

I was genuinely looking forward to dining at what is often described as "the best restaurant in…read moreSyracuse," especially for their Valentine's Day prix fixe experience. Unfortunately, based on our visit, I do not anticipate returning. While I do have several culinary critiques--such as paying for the luxury wine pairing only to receive a bold Burgundy alongside Linguine and Clams, or seeing "Caviar" listed on the menu and discovering it was actually Bowfin roe--these are ultimately matters of taste and expectation. Likewise, the eclectic menu progression, shifting from Korean/Asian-inspired starters to Eastern European notes and then unexpectedly into Italian influences, was unusual but clearly stated ahead of time. SEE UPDATED REVIEW FOLLOWING THIS SECTION SPECIFICALLY RELATING TO "SERVICE FEE". What was not clearly stated--and what I believe crosses into dishonest practice--was the service fee. The menu advertised on Instagram included fine print noting a 3% service fee. That seemed reasonable. However, the check we received instead included a 22% service fee, which is a significant and unexplained deviation. This is not a simple oversight. The terms presented online at the time of reservation did not match the terms presented at the restaurant. (UPDATED REVIEW: Following my review, one of the owners of Noble Cellar reached out to discuss my experience. We had an in‑depth, thoughtful conversation about the complexities of New York State restaurant laws, particularly those governing how front‑of‑house staff may be tipped and how back‑of‑house employees may be compensated. While we were in agreement that the language surrounding the service fee was confusing, our discussion gave me a clearer understanding of the intent. I now feel far less certain that the discrepancy was malicious or deliberately deceptive. That said, it should have been made much clearer to diners that the service fee included what is traditionally understood as gratuity. Transparency in this area is crucial for maintaining guest trust, and clearer communication would have prevented the confusion I--and likely others--experienced. I want to commend the owner for reaching out directly and taking the time to address each of my concerns. His willingness to engage, listen, and provide context demonstrated genuine integrity. We also discussed my other critiques in depth, and it was evident that he was sincerely interested in my perspective and committed to further elevating the experience they aim to provide. I was invited back to experience a standard service, and I appreciate the opportunity. I look forward to giving Noble Cellar another chance and hope to update this review again following a future visit.) Our total bill was $599, including a $100 "service fee." I still chose to leave a $100 tip, as our server was attentive and should not be held responsible for management's decisions. In the end, we spent $700 for two people--paired with the added disappointment of feeling misled. I have photo documentation of both menus, and the discrepancy is unmistakable. I will be reaching out directly to ownership and management regarding this issue. Until then, I feel compelled to leave a 1-star review, as this level of inconsistency and lack of transparency is unacceptable. Without the inflated and undisclosed fee, my rating would have been closer to 3 stars, based on the food and overall experience.
