    spicy garlic wings

This is a really solid place to order pizza from. I typically do not order from here as I have several pizza shops nearby however based on a recommendation I decided to give this shop a try. My order was made promptly and delivered hot. Everything tasted great and was a decent price for what I got. I love that they use fresh mushrooms instead of canned like many pizza shops do. The wings were spicy as described which some places don't deliver on the spice.

Large Meat Trio Breakfast Pizza - $22.83

I was talking to a friend who moved across the country a few years ago. I asked him, when he's visiting home, what's the first place he stops to eat? I don't know what I was expecting, but he caught me off guard when he said Antonio's in Liverpool. I'd never heard of it, and we order a crap load of pizza from wherever we can find it. I live about 25 minutes away, and nobody's talking about them, so the place literally just never occurred to me before then. He's got Antonio's calzones on his mind during his 2-day drive across the country, of all places. I couldn't imagine a better endorsement than that. Most of my life I've never really been into calzones, but I've been coming around lately after a few good finds. He said it wasn't optional though, so on day 1 we got a chicken wing calzone along with a breakfast pizza. Now I know what you're thinking: "WHICH breakfast pizza?? They have SIX of them!" It wasn't easy to choose, but we went with the meat trio, and it was wild. Too many people are talking about Byrne Dairy breakfast pizza, and it's a tragedy I had to stumble onto this one by chance. Look at the picture. The eggs are fluffy. All three meats are fresh and didn't come from a tin or a hose, or wherever the hell some of these places get their breakfast meats. Most importantly though, the sauce. Breakfast pizza has a nasty habit of being grossly under-sauced, if not completely dry. Absolutely no problems here. There's plenty we haven't tried here, but the freaking calzones. We got the buffalo chicken, the cheeseburger, and the philly cheesesteak. For starters, they are absolutely massive, and as soft as you can possibly imagine. This especially came into play with the burger and cheesesteak ones that are emulating the experience of a sandwich. Bad bread can suck the life out of a burger or sandwich. These were like a brand new plane of existence. The dough is dense but always soft enough to never get in your way. It goes wherever the contents go, and cradles them in a cloud. The buffalo chicken was shreddy, tender, and delicious. Super straightforward. The burger calzone was the best burger version of a thing I can remember having. It had pickles and raw onions and was filled with Thousand Island dressing, then came with additional dressing for dipping. I'm assuming it was homemade because I've never appreciated Thousand Island dressing more. We were excited about the philly, because a lot of cheesesteaks we order lose us with the bread. I'm pretty sure these were made with standard Sysco philly slabs, but I've never cared less. We asked if they had cheese sauce we could dip it in, but they didn't. It came with red sauce, but it was a weird match. It went amazing with bleu cheese though. The last arena you absolutely can't ignore is the mac and cheese. There's a whole section on the menu, and they all sound amazing. We've tried two, and both took Forever to decide on. When I got the first one, I was kind of disappointed that rigatoni was the only pasta choice. While I still maintain that a smaller, twistier pasta would be better, I didn't care for a second while I was eating it. They're absolutely packed and then covered with cheese and sauce. The chicken is always breaded, and the cheese and sauce is always super rich. We did buffalo chicken and CBR, and the flavors are drizzled over top. This is some of the best mac and cheese I can ever remember ordering from a restaurant. Weird as it is, I could take or leave their regular pizza, and we haven't even tried their wings yet. We get wings from every place we ever go that serves them, so that's kind of a big deal. This place is extremely underrated and not talked about enough.

While…read moreit's typical to get the NY-style slice around here with thin, crispy crust and mounds of cheese, East of Chicago pivots a bit into the pan-style, deeper dish pizza which is a refreshing option. We have eaten here twice and both times we walked away with happy bellies and some new favorites. For our most recent visit, we ordered a sausage topped pan-style pizza along with their garlic cheesy bread. The staff working the counter were VERY friendly and welcoming when we came to pick up - very appreciated. Inside, it's small and there isn't a place to dine in, so you'll be doing take out here. Parking is on the street out front and seems to be available each time I roll by. The order took about 25 minutes to get ready and was available as promised when I picked up. The pizza was really buttery, soft, and just what you'd want from a deeper style pizza. The garlic cheese bread may have been the star of this order though. It was nice and garlicy, buttery, and cheesy...the way that GARLIC CHEESE BREAD should be :) We will be back!

It is an upscale little spot that feels cozy and comfortable and is perfect for a date night. It can get a little loud on the weekends, but that just comes with how popular it is. My boyfriend and I love coming here every time we visit our hometown. We usually sit at the bar and always end up making friends with the bartenders pretty quickly. The energy is just right. We ordered appetizers and pizza and as always it did not disappoint. We are big fans of the Calabrian pizza. It is so good, especially with the hot honey on top. The balance of flavors is perfect. This time we also tried the special which had shiitake mushrooms, ricotta, a fried egg, and cheese. Overall it was pretty good. He enjoyed it more than I did, but it was still worth trying. The service here is always fantastic and the ambience is really dope. You can come here for a date night or bring the family. They have music playing in the background and while it can get loud at times, I think that just adds to the vibe of the place. I have been coming here for years and I genuinely think everyone should try it. One of my patients actually recommended this spot to me years ago and told me it reminded her of pizza from Italy. Ever since then it has been a favorite of mine.

I…read morealways fly in and out of Syracuse bc 1) my brother lives in Cuse and can pick me up and 2) it's oddly cheaper (usually) than flying into Rochester. I have a sister in Rochester, but she always tells me to "uber it" I always feel the love when I wanna come home from her :-/ Anyway, this past trip, I flew up a little over a week ago and of course, out of Cuse. My brother wanted to treat me to a pizza and we couldn't decide where to go. I always prefer to try places people haven't been to yet. I like it to be a surprise for them as much it is for me. So we called several places. It was a Friday night, I flew out crazy early on Saturday. Naturally, pizza places on a Friday... always busy. Pizza places in a college town...even busier. Syracuse University keeps them busy as hell. Johnny Mac's. So I'm not sure how far or close it is to campus. It's a little bit of a drive from my brothers house. That turned out to be ok bc the wait was only 30 mins, maybe a little less tbh bc the pizza was SLIGHTLY cold when we picked it up. All the other places we called... hour and half for some, 2 hour wait for others. INSANE! For one pizza! Gurl, bye! So we went with this place. One of the best things for me was...my brother had never been. He took one bite and was like .... "It's so good!" Which made going here even better. And yes, the pizza was delicious. Even if slightly cold...it was still amazing and yeah..we have microwaves for a reason lol. The price was decent too. I wanna say $18 and change, if I remember correctly. Don't quote me on that. May have been slightly cheaper. Regardless, the pizza is fantastic and ya can't go wrong. If you've been, you know, if you haven't been, ya need to go. You won't be disappointed. It really is delicious. It's kinda of in a random spot, doesn't look like your typical pizza place, looks more like a little house lol, inside tho ... definitely pizza place vibes. I waited outside with my pup (saw the inside ...bc ya know, windows and stuff lol). It was in and out. Great place. Even tho I said I love to try new places, and I always do, I would absolutely have their pizza again. Wish I had something to say about the staff, but my brother was the one who dealt with them. Great place. I definitely recommend it. Thanks for reading, YelperMac'ers!!! Cheers!

I opted for pepperoni topping and medium traditional wings (an additional price). I also prefer less sauce, so I ordered my pizza with less. On a Thursday afternoon around 130pm, it was only a 20 minute wait. So no complaints there. First off, the appearance, in my opinion, looked like a basic pizza. Almost looked undercooked if I didn't see the steam coming off it. So, at that point, I was expecting something very subpar. However, it was very good. It is a pretty thin pizza, so dont expect anything too thick. Amount of sauce was perfect, cheese was good and pepperoni had good flavor. One of my favorite parts of a pizza is the crust and that is where I got a little disappointed. Its fluffy with a slight crunch (which is perfect), but there wasnt much flavor to it. Now onto the wings. I kind of expect wings to not be crispy anywhere I go and this place was no different. The upside to it, the flavor of the medium was very good. However, it almost tasted like a mild sauce. The wing itself was very juicy and tender. Nothing special, but they were enjoyable with a slice of pizza. The parking lot is very small, so if you have a larger vehicle, maneuvering may be cumbersome. It is just a row of spots and 1 lane to drive along their building. Just something to consider if youre going at a busy time. The woman working was very nice and attentive to when I walked in. She was in the middle of moving boxes and came right up. So good customer service. I did have to call because on their app I was unable to select between boneless and traditional wings. But, they do have an easy to use app. Overall, I gave this 4 stars due to pizza not really standing out and wings not being crispy. I enjoyed it, but I dont think I would specifically seek this place out for my pizza and wing fix. I would not mind trying other things on their menu.
