Ordered the Clubby via app. Sandwich was solid. Also received a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie, which was was a nice treat. Issue encountered was that someone had taken my sandwich so had to wait for another to be made. Staff was friendly. Restaurant clean and inviting. Booths and tables. Love the hot peppers. Always solid sandwiches here.

Chicken club

Stopped in this evening around dinner time (6:00pm ish). Place was empty, but during our visit people were zipping in and out for pickup orders. We ordered the chicken club and a wreck. Second time here for me, but my mother's first time. We decided to enjoy our meal in the restaurant as our drive home is about 15 minutes. Sandwich was hot and made quickly . Bread was very fresh. Sandwich was not heavy either which is always a good feeling. The only suggestion I have is employees behind the counter not being very friendly and welcoming .... More routine for them. There is plenty seating inside and restaurant was clean.

Very spacious potbelly with plenty of tables for larger groups. We went on a Sunday morning and there was barely anyone there. This was my first time at a potbelly so I didn't know what to expect. The menu is similar to any Jimmy johns or subway, pricing wise, it's the same as well, except potbelly has 3 price points per item whereas JJ has only 2. I got the skinny Mediterranean and I loved how it came with hummus at no extra cost. I added pickles and avocado as well and it was a delicious healthy meal! The guy was super nice and gave us the avo at no extra cost. My husband got the steakhouse sandwich and he enjoyed it as well, except he thought they added too many hot peppers. The hot peppers are a bit too salty IMO. Either way, we will be back again if we're in a pinch.

On Sunday morning, I took my time getting on with my day. I was still processing being at the Winter Classic the previous evening. I also wanted to savour being indoors in a warm hotel room. I got hungry at around 2 pm. I was craving a meatball sandwich. Where does one go to get one? I did a quick search and found Potbelly Sandwich Shop that had meatball sandwiches on its menu. It's at Eagan Promenade, roughly a five-minute drive away from where I was. I had to pick up the pace, as this eatery closes at 4 pm on Sundays. I arrived in front of Potbelly Sandwich Shop just before 3 pm. I backed into a spot steps away from the main entrance and walked in. There were three customers inside. It was a sign that this place does good business. When it was my turn to order, I got the original mama's meatball sandwich. An original is a regular sandwich in size. It also comes in skinny (small) and big (large). I got my sandwich on whole wheat bread with lettuce and Italian seasoning. I also made my sandwich a part of a meal deal. For $3, you get a regular fountain drink and a bag of chips. I was thrilled to see Zapp's chips here. I fell in love with them when I visited New Orleans several years back. I got the mesquite barbeque. I paid for my food with a credit card. I decided to dine in, as there weren't many folks chowing down at 3 pm. My meatball sandwich hit the spot. It was messy with the shredded lettuce plopping out of it now and again, but it was delicious. I wish that the meatballs were larger, but they were cut in half and tasted yummy. They were tender, but solid enough that they didn't crumble on you. The bread was perfect. It was fresh and held everything together. I got a Diet Coke as my fountain drink. It was refreshing and much needed to wash down my food. I got a refill before I left the eatery to get on with my day. The Zapp's chips were so good. Oh, how I've missed the mequite barbeque ones! They are kettle-style chips. It was nice getting some New Orleans flair with my lunch! I used the washroom before I left. It wasn't in the greatest condition. Just okay. I will say that the washroom has a well-stocked cupboard of individually wrapped toilet paper. My hotel could learn a lot about replenishing supplies from this place. Customer service here is great. I thanked the man who was sweeping the floor. He wished me a pleasant day and told me to take care. I reciprocated. So nice! You can order ahead of time and do contactless pickup. Your order is placed in a cubby by the fountain drinks machine. You can download the Potbelly app or go through Potbelly's site to place your order. I had a good experience here. For a meatball sandwich craving, this place completely satisfied it. (24)

Painted sign behind cash register area

We made two orders for work. One was ordered on line and the other was called in. Person who answered the phone said they do not take phone orders and laughed when he said if paying cash you have to come in to order. So the second order was then placed on line as well. Not a huge deal but please note to anyone reading this, there literally is a 2 foot sign (partially in all caps) behind the register painted on the cabinets that says,. "Avoid Lines PHONE AHEAD 651-452-5400. I waited for the second order while drinking my shake. I heard the number 1 guy helping me tell the other person (number 2 guy) the shake he was putting on the counter was mine for the second order and he disappeared to the back. A few minutes later, number 2 guy looks at me confused and asked if I had gotten my order yet. I said I hadn't and that I thought guy number 1 went back to check on my order. Number 2 guy says he doesn't now what is happening and puts the second shake in the ice cream section so it doesn't melt and goes to the back. Comes back and politely says it will be just a few minutes. I then got the second order and asked about the shake for the second order that number 2 guy handed to another customer. He then tells the customer he handed to that he will have to make him another shake since my food was ready and handed the shake to me. I took the sealed bag and shake back to work. First order was as it should be. The second order was supposed to be three BMLTs, two of the three sandwiches were right but the third sandwich was not even close to what was ordered and upon inspection it said Door Dash on it so we wound up with a sandwich no one wanted or would eat and someone else got a sandwich they didn't want either. Mistakes happen and what was right was good as usual and had the other issues not happened ESPECIALLY the part about not taking phone orders when there is a big sign encouraging customers to call in orders, I would not have left a negative review.

Do you have vegan options?

There is a Veggie Melt sandwich, but it's vegetarian due to the cheese. To make it vegan, you'll need to ask to get the cheddar and provolone taken out. I don't know whether the bun the vegan, so you'll need to check with staff.

My fav fast food is Jimmy John's. I ordered my fav sandwich today, the #5 Vito and it did not…read moredisappoint. The French bread is the highlight for me, it's always fresh, fragrant, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The deli meats and provolone cheese are also good, but can easily be found at other shops. I ordered on the app before driving there and it was already waiting for me when I walked in the door. My sandwich was customized just how I ordered it (extra lettuce and tomato with no onions). This was the perfect fast food experience for me. Ambiance is ok. It's clean and bright, but nothing special. Thanks for my fav sandwich, JJ's!

JJ's pickles have always been one of my favorite things to order. I never fail to order one. For…read morethe last year, the pickles have steadily gone downhill. This time I cant even pretend they are edible. They are soggy, mushy, discolored, and taste a million times worse than they look. All we wanted was a tasty meal that we didn't have to cook. First, I didn't get my cookies (which I've ready been credited for), and now no pickles worth eating. It's hard to get full sharing one 8 inch sandwich. Maybe if you guys cut the pickles (afterall, I did order them halved, not whole) you'd have realized how rotted they are yourself and I'd have received better quality. Doubtful since I've gotten other rotten ones even though they were halved. :( These puckles are more expensive then the Claussen's I buy at the store, i should be able to expect comparable quality. That used to be the case.

I gotta stop believing yelp reviews. People want quantity over quality on this app and this place…read moreis a great example of that. There's nothing redeeming about this place. Yelp reviewers have no taste. They just want a slab of meat and they're all happy. I should've tried their sauces before I bought anything. The barbecue sauces were all ketchup based. They added in too much apple cider vinegar and the sauces were too viscous and runny. A good barbecue sauce has molasses, brown sugar, and tomato sauce not ketchup and white sugar which is what these were made from. I'd have been better off bringing in my own bottle of barbecue sauce from the grocery store. We ordered a half rack 6 ribs and two sides of coleslaw and potato salad. The coleslaw was runny and too liquidy. It had zero buttermilk in it. It was also made with apple cider vinegar which is a HUGE NO, NO. The potato salad was meh. No mustard. Just white potato salad. THEY HAD NO CORNBREAD! How much does a box of jiffy cornbread cost?!? Seriously, this business should NOT be in the rib business. The half rack of ribs: DRY, DRY, DRY. They were baked way too long. The ribs were flavor-less. I would not go back again. It's a huge shame for a rib joint to be this bad. The ribs were such a huge disappointment. Not even a smoked flavor was ever detected. I hope they don't go down the liquid smoke route either because that's just driving off a cliff at that point. I'm DONE listening to yelp reviews. Yall have no clue what you're talking about.
