After hearing good things, I had to come check this place out for myself! This is located in an unassuming building. I had to really look to see it was located on the corner in what looked like a business building. There is plenty of free parking. The service here was sweet and personable. There was an adorable African American woman working who was simply the sweetest! I wish we would have gotten her name! Excellent service from her!! We got a sandwich and a wrap! Both were done very well for being something so basic. My turkey bacon and ranch wrap was fresh! I would happily get this again! The drink options are in a can, not fountain and you can find plenty of chip options, included baked for my calorie counting friends! The seating is limited, so plenty of people took their meals to go like a Subway. There is also a small selection of sweet treats as well, but those will be for another trip! This is an underrated small sandwich place. Delicious sammys with cold and hot options. I got the Godfather which is one of their hot sandwich specials with roast beef on garlic bread with tomato, lettuce, cheese, and aioli. It was the bomb. Free chips with your sandwich is the cherry on top. Their staff were very nice and friendly. The whole place was small but had an eclectic feel. The bathroom kept this theme with punny signs hung all over. We got some free stickers on our way out. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back. read more

There are not enough words to write about how consistently wonderful this family-owned place is. The owner (Doug) creates wonderful soups and sandwiches that leave you full and satisfied. Everything is full of flavor and is our number one place to cater in for work lunches. This is more than great food. It is an owner that cares. He wants to know your name and hear your story. He remembers and makes each guest feel important. His mother in law runs the cash register and it is clear how deep the respect is that he has for her. All the employees stick around and clearly are hard workers. It is not uncommon to see Doug hug one customer and asking about the health of the spouse of the next, chatting about sports with a third. It just feels like home. I've never had a bad experience. Sometimes I have to wait a bit for my food but it is always worth it. Just like all the customers in front of me were well taken care of, I know it will soon be my turn and I will then feel like the most important customer. This place is a true gem. Very cute family owned (I assumed) sandwich shop. The menu is not very large which makes selection easy. All the food items are commonly known so it is good for non-adventure eater. We ordered soup and wraps combo, and my partner ordered Ruben sandwich. the wrap I ordered is chicken bacon avocado wrap - but I can't say that I tasted avocado. Maybe it was lightly put on the wrap. Fantastic food and service! Excellent lunch spot. Whenever I am in the area I always make sure to stop in for a wrap; I think I have had them all, and they are all great. It's nice to go to a local sandwich shop instead of a chain when possible, at least for me, and this place checks all the boxes. The pulled pork and sauce made the sandwich spectacular. It makes me want to try their BBQ pulled pork sandwich! We also tried the NY Pastrami. Perfect ratio of meat! We had this door-dashed, the price is actually decent. I ordered a Reuben with extra Mayo, and they gave me tons of mayo which I'm not complaining about. However the rye bread was dry and a little crusty...it wasn't a toasted crusty, it was kind of a old/stale type of crusty texture to it. Furthermore the corn beef was also a bit not fresh. My wife and I visited for lunch during the week. It was a nice little place with decent sandwiches and wraps - nothing to write home about, but not bad either. With only 1 soup, I was left wanting for more options. One thing in particular that made an impression - after ordering, I remembered that I had forgotten my reusable water bottle in our car. I walked out to grab it and as I returned one of the workers cracked the front door open, stuck her head out (to prevent me from entering) and tapped the "No outside food or beverages" sign. I asked if that applied to reusable water bottles and she curtly replied that they would get shut down if they let people bring those in ‍. The beverage selection in the store requires one to pick between plastic water bottles (hooray for the environment!) or massive amounts of sugar, caffeine, or taurine (hooray for my health!), so I ended up just eating my meal without a beverage. Not the end of the world, but certainly left me feeling less than welcome. read more

I can't decide what my favorite part was: the service or the food. Let's start with the service. You can tell that this place is family-owned right off the bat. A sweet kiddo, who I'm assuming was the owner's daughter, took my order and was not only incredible at her job, but the whole experience was so adorable that the food could have sucked and I still would have given the visit five stars. It was a fast visit - less than 3 minutes after ordering, I had my sandwich with the cutest reminder to not forget my chips. The Food: It's fresh, made-to-order, and delicious, with great portions. I was craving a wrap, so I got the chicken bacon avocado wrap, which was had plenty of bacon and a really good combo of crunch and soft. The wrap didn't fall apart as I ate it, which I appreciated. Sandwiches and wraps are $8.50 (at the time of this review) and includes your choice of chips, and they have GREAT choices. You're sure to find one of your new or old favorites. The Soup of the Day was cheeseburger soup, which I've never had in my life so obviously I had to get it. AMAZING. Cheesy, creamy, with good chunks of real burger. 10/10. I also love how much they source locally. They have a great selection of Northern Soda, which is made just a stone's throw away, so you have to get one of those with your order. The pastrami was over the top tender and thinly sliced. Pumpernickel bread toasted to perfection. Serving size was just the right amount for a hefty appetite. I was too full to eat the bag of chips. Maybe the owner would consider adding a nice pickle to the sandwich and skip the chips. The place quickly filled with regulars and workers around lunchtime. Service was quick and friendly. Nicest restaurant staff and management I think I've ever met. Wonderful people here. Also, incredibly fresh and perfectly assembled sandwiches. You look at the menu and say "Ok, it's a little sandwich shop"... but the sandwiches are incredibly good. Eat local. Skip the chains. Stop by this place. See that herb garden by the door? That's in the food. My daughter mentioned she noticed basil in the garden box and Doug, who runs the place, gave her a sample of the house-made pesto he had just made. It was amazing.
