If you have the Chick-fil-A app, I highly recommend ordering through the app and doing Mobile Thru. There is a line next to the normal drive thru line for mobile orders only. You place the order on the app, click 'I'm at the restaurant' when you arrive, scan the QR code in the lane, then move up to wait for your order. Most of the time, there is a long drive thru line and I save a good amount of time doing Mobile Thru. I was surprised they offered a lane just for Mobile orders when I first visited this location as I've never seen that before, but now understand it is a must! I really like how much of a time saver it is. A few of my favorites are the Breakfast Burrito, Breakfast Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Tortilla soup, and their Grilled Chicken Sandwiches. The offerings are mostly the same as other Chick-fil-A's, except this location includes the special Mobile Thru lane for mobile orders. The employees I've encountered are all friendly and professional. Thanks to all the employees that have to constantly walk outside for the mobile thru lane, you're great! There has been some cold days recently and they have still offered mobile thru. I'm not sure if this is ever shut down during the winter or not; every time I've visited it has been open. Luckily the delivery point is close to a door so employees don't have to walk too far to deliver your order to your window. I haven't went through the regular drive thru lane or went inside this location yet but hope to someday soon. read more

I went thru the drive thru and a very nice young lady stood out in hot sun and took my order. Due to how very hot and humid it was she could easily have been out of sorts or hurriedly rushed me. Hey we all know Chick-Fil-A is known for their chicken sandwiches and never being open on Sunday. Luckily, the chain is pretty consistent with food, however my favorite item is their new cheese sauce, it tastes like fondue! Why they put it in such a big square cup though I'll never understand, it's so hard to get all the sauce when it's tucked into the corner of that weird container. TLDR. We were singled out because of race by a customer, which caused an employee kick us out of our curbside space while we were eating. Assistant Manager said we were were being too sensitive. Corporate did nothing and was largely uninterested. Operator never called to address the issues. Seems like Chick-Fil-A's bigotry is as strong as ever. We went to the Maple Grove location for the first time. As usual at all Chick-Fil-A's during Covid, we ordered curbside and enjoyed our meal in our car with our two young children. It was about 6PM and it still wasn't too busy. As we were finishing up our meal, the car next to us was picking up his order curbside. The gentleman made mention to the employee (who was black) referencing our "ethnic background" and how he was not comfortable talking to us.. The employee said that she would take care of it. She then comes around to our car and says we aren't supposed to eat in the car and that we need to leave. Keep in mind that there are several other cars in other spaces. This white guy singles US out and the employee allows herself to be manipulated into kicking us out. One wonders why she didn't talk to other people who were eating in their cars. I hate playing the race card, but it really looks like it. I immediately called the store and the manager named BJ, came out and we had a conversation. We were able to find the employee who asked me to leave. If you can believe it, she lied about telling us to leave. She has the stones to lie to my face with her manager present. I mentioned that the customer's complaint seemed racial and the manager's response is that because the employee was African-American, this couldn't possibly be a race issue. Really? The employee's being a minority neutralizes the fact that customer was racially motivated to single us out? It's completely absurd. Said that there were limited spots and that it was understood that customers should not stay in the spaces if it is full. The store failed to list that clearly and needs to do so. Also, this so called "understanding" that customers were supposed to leave the curbside space immediately after receiving the food order is news to me. I called customer support in Atlanta and aired my grievance. The gentleman was polite, but was clearly just there as a PR measure. He didn't seem particularly interested in hearing me and wasn't at all upset at what happened to my family. If I were a customer service representative and a call like this came it, it would definitely upset me and worry me about the damage it could do to my company's branding. The representative asked if if the Operator of the store could call me. I said that I was happy to share my feedback so they could fix this slew of issues. Did the Operator Nancy Christman call me? No, she did not. Given the problems that Chick fil A has with their PR, this isn't something that is a good look for them. I'll NEVER go back to this location again. The brand itself is severely damaged in my eyes and we rarely go to any locations anymore after this ordeal. read more

The first time that I was ever at one was in St. Louis a number of years ago before all of the controversy and picketing. I remember thinking that was the best fast food chicken sandwich that I have ever had and that someone must have shoved a ray of sunshine up the ass of the guy at the counter taking my order. Fast-forward a couple of years and I notice that they have opened locations in Maple Grove and Bloomington which I drive by frequently. I was hesitant to go back given the brouhaha that took place since my last visit in St. Louis. As my friend, Sam W., wrote "I finally bit the 'fuck you, you homophobic chicken handlers' bullet" early this week and went back to see if it was good as I remembered. Got the spicy chicken sandwich my first time back. As good as I remembered. I don't give a shit if it's authentic or not - I just know whether my tastes buds are saying yay or nay. So much better than the chicken sandwich at Mickie D's or Burger King or the like. The manager came by and asked me how everything was. Well, I'll be damned; I've never had that happen at a fast food restaurant before. Second time back, I got the grilled chicken nuggets. Nice option. Everything is fried or comes with a bunch of carbs at the competition. Staff person came by and asked me if I wanted a refill on my soda - for free! Whoa! Mind blown. Third time back today, I got the spicy chicken biscuit breakfast sandwich. The cashier reminded me of the Kenneth character on Thirty Rock both in terms of appearance and personality. Almost overly-friendly for my tastes, but a welcome change of pace from the usual I-don't-give-a-shit-and-what-did-you-order-again attitude from the help at most fast food places. Was also pleased that I did not have to pay extra for getting a juice instead of coffee as seems to be the SOP at most other places these days. Minus one star for being a chain with no adult beverages. Minus one star for the ownership's stance on marriage equality. I was first introduced to Chick-fil-A down South many years ago. It was always a great place to take the children for a quick meal that everyone enjoyed. Chick-fil-A is everything chicken... chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, chicken strips/fingers, salad with chicken. The chicken itself has a light breading, not a crunchy KFC-style of breading. It's always served hot and fresh, along with waffle fries (unless you prefer a different side). For fast food, it tastes great. It's real chicken... not pressed chicken or mechanically separated/processed pseudo-chicken. When you order nuggets or a chicken strip, you can rest assured that you're getting an authentic piece of chicken without fillers. This place was hopping, filled with families with their children. The place had a positive, active, good vibe going for it. Families seemed genuinely happy to be here. There appears to be a kind of playroom off the dining area. When you order your food, they'll place any sauces, straws, etc. in a colored cup that you bring to your table. When the food is ready, it's brought out to you. Two employees under 16 years old suffered heat exhaustion after asking to come inside because they weren't feeling well and were denied. They passed out. I have had chick fil from the west coast all the way to the east coast and have always had consistently good service and food. This place is like a never ending revolving door of either bad service or food. Initially I had no problem here and the food was great. Recently, I've either had food missing from my order/ the workers forgetting to hand me stuff and already waving goodbye or the worst is when they give me old fries that are like chewing cardboard. I am not a chain restaurant fan, but Chick-fil-A keeps bringing me back. I go for the Lemonade (lemons, water and sugar or Splenda. That's it ( no words that you can't pronounce.). From the looks of the reviews, it appears that some Minnesotans don't fully appreciate the goodness that is pressure-cooked deep fried chicken, sweet tea and waffle fries. One crazy reviewer compared it to Cub Foods. CUB. FOODS. Blasphemy! This chicken is juicy, flavorful, tender and the service is consistently great.
