I have visited this establishment several times and have consistently had positive experiences, which makes this review particularly disappointing to write. During a recent afternoon visit with my husband, he went to find a seat while I placed our order. I provided our selections to the first employee, who began preparing the bowl. Typically, at the second stage of preparation, staff confirm protein choice and ask about any modifications. On this occasion, that confirmation did not occur. While briefly distracted by a question, grilled chicken was added to the bowl. I always substitute blackened chicken. When I noticed the error, I politely asked if blackened chicken could simply be added and stated I would gladly pay any additional charge. Instead of resolving the request, the employee at the second station began lecturing me about how I "should have specified" the type of chicken. I responded calmly and said it was fine. However, she continued, adding that they "don't want food wasted." At that point, I clarified that it was food I was purchasing and therefore not her concern. Rather than de-escalating, she continued in a raised and condescending tone. The interaction felt unnecessary and disproportionate to what was a simple, easily correctable request. Even the employee at the register appeared visibly uncomfortable. What made this experience especially troubling was not the initial mistake , mistakes happen, but the public scolding that followed. Being reprimanded loudly over a minor request, felt humiliating and unwarranted. Customer service should prioritize resolution over reprimand. A calm clarification or simple solution would have sufficed. Despite the interaction, I still left a tip. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. This location has previously delivered excellent service, and I would like to see that standard upheld consistently for all patrons. read more

This location experience was the most poorly ran, operated, managed crisp and green I have been to. Took 40 extra minutes past our expected time for pickup, was out of several items and decided to make my smoothie first, before making the food so by the time I received my entire order. I had a smoothie that was Luke warm and a meal that had multiple substitutions. All around, this place needs better management. read more

Took the family for lunch here a couple of weeks ago. One person got a smoothie and the rest got salads. Food was excellent - 5*. Business practices not so much. They enter all of your orders into the cash register, but there isn't a screen for you to see what they've input. Once they're done ringing you up, they simply say $85 (or whatever amount). I paid and had to ask for a receipt. I reviewed the receipt and see they charged us for an extra salad. Now they kindly took it off the bill and re-ran our credit card, but then didn't give us a receipt for that transaction. And they upcharge you for certain salad toppings, proteins, etc. so it isn't easy to know what's right just by the $ amount. In 2025, how do you not have a cash register screen?... unless you're hoping people don't see how things added up?? read more

I placed an order online that was supposed to be ready at 6:08, I got there a 2 minutes early so I asked a member of the staff if they were working on it. I tried Crisp & Green for the first time and I now understand the hype! It was hard to pick from the menu because all of the options sounded great, but I went with the chicken bacon ranch salad. The salad was very good and I would definitely get it again. It comes with pickled onions on it which aren't normally my thing, but I'm glad I left them on because the acidity enhanced the flavor of the salad. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The inside has large windows that make the space bright and airy, and they have a nice patio with plenty of outdoor seating. No issues with parking as there's a big lot right out front. I might be hypnotized by really good marketing or trendy bowls and appearance, but something just feels more healthy about eating at Crisp & Green. There's a lot of options and nearly endless combinations of you build your own but I prefer the bold and the buffalo or the cinco de light. Even for dinner when looking for a satisfying meal, salads from here tend to fill me up. Good portions and great flavorful tasting food. The app is actually pretty handy, makes ordering really easy and there's some kind of VIP feeling about just walking in and grabbing your food. This location has ample seating and a decent patio but tends to get busy, especially at lunch. If you're counting on a spot to sit, you might have to wait for a table. read more

The service did not meet the standards set at other Crisp & Green locations. The employee dishing out the salads miss heard my order and when corrected-- I was accused of saying the wrong order. Not a polite response to a simple mistake. I admittedly tend to request changes to my order and each request was met an unfriendly response. I was also disappointed in the quality as I had many dried scrapings of quinoa. All together pretty disappointed. I'm a frequent flyer of this Crisp & Green location. There was only one person working the food line today even though there were a handful of workers just around. She was doing work though. I know this is a chain, but I'm still sad that wild rice was taken off the menu. Today I was able to grab a table and work for an hour or so, which was nice. I had a free salad and the girl didn't know how to ring it up, she had to call the supervisor who seemed pissed to come out of the back room to help. He didn't say one word to us - no apology for having to wait - nothing! Like embarrassing! FIRE HIM! The Maple Grove Crisp and Green location is absolutely horrible with their online ordering service. The past 3 times I have placed an online order here, I have waited almost an hour past my "promised pickup time" in the store for my order. Today I placed an online order at 4:00PM for it to be ready at 5:30PM, and I got there and it still was not ready. The workers are also not friendly. When you get up to the counter and the girls waiting to help do the not it game it's not a good start. There was no greeting of hello just a what are you having? Why is this salad place so freaking good and addicting?! For me, I love that the meat isn't a second thought. I never like chicken from salad places, pizza places, etc. It's typically under flavored and you can tell it's old. The Buffalo chicken here was so good. Dressing selections are huge and so good, and so many amazing toppings. I wish I could eat here every day. Super expensive to order from home, I don't know if Postmates has a glitch or something because just the base (like literally no lettuce or anything is $13. Then, each additional thing (lettuce lol) and other things to create a salad is different. Cost me $30 for one salad. That will put my cravings to a rest lol! Great concept. Fresh salads, fast casual, lovely setting. Service is pretty good, but when I asked for an adult version of one of the kids bowls they just charged me twice for the kids bowl. I could have just did the make your own bowl and have been charged less for one normal bowl than for 2 kids bowls poured into one normal bowl. Just annoying that's all. Portion size isn't the greatest but it was a win on a Monday when most other restaurants were closed. Will I come back? Probably but only if other options aren't available. Trying whole 30 with the wife and we wanted to try this new location in Maple Grove. It fit with our meal planning and was delicious. Warning this place has none of the Midwest goodness people have come to expect! The salad menu is on the wall when you walk in and there are bowl options as well. Add fresh water and smoothies and you pretty much have the menu. I highly recommend the no Cobb salad and any of their delicious smoothies! Today was the day I decided to risk it all. My lunch break would be a little longer than the allowed half hour, but I would do it for Yelp. (Also, I've been dying to try this place). Crisp & Green renewed my already extremely strong love for Caesar salad...if you can believe that. I'm still trying to get over it. Their food is really good. I also got a smoothie but it tasted a little too grainy in my opinion. I wish it was a little more flavorful. Everything has balance so I'll take the iffy smoothie with the amazing salad. Crisp & green reminds me of an airport. It's bright, busy, and efficient. Even with a ton of people in line at peak lunch time I wasn't waiting more than 10 minutes. I liked the environment and the food which makes this a place I'd like to return to frequently. What I would've liked to see from Crisp & Green was direction for new guests and slightly lower prices. I feel like $18 was steep especially in a place like Maple Grove where there are a ton of other options. I also didn't know where the silverware was and I missed it when my smoothie was ready. Still, their employees were friendly and made an effort to make conversation. All things considered, I would return to Crisp & Green 100%. I'm already craving another salad! read more

This was my first time eating at a Crisp and Green. Salads were pretty good but service was not great. Staff seemed like a they didn't want to be there and were not friendly. It's okay, not the best and not the worst. Clean looking, lots of white. Hard surfaces and so the nose level is high. There is outdoor dining, but it's on a busy road (Maple Grove location). Mostly a big bowl of lettuce greens with additions. A bit on the expensive side since it's not a very large bowl. I had the Thai Salad. Lots of lettuce, some carrots, radish and medium shrimp, about 7 or 8, and a bit of dressing. All for about $15.00. I was told a side of pita chips were extra, but the corn chips or a very small piece of bread was no charge (which is not the same as free). I'm not sure if go back. read more
