This was my first time here and I'm genuinely mad it took us this long to discover it and immediately searched to find there's one closer to our house so we'll definitely become regulars. Best way to describe it is it's the upgraded version of Chipotle because it's ten times better. The chips have this fun, zesty salt mix that pairs perfectly with the guac--honestly, I could snack on those alone forever. I got a steak burrito that was huge and my husband got a bowl and both were absolutely fabulous. The ingredients tasted super fresh, rice wasn't soggy and the cheese felt like it was just grated. This is a fancy Chipotle. The ingredients were really delicious. I just wish they recommended the sauce. I think the cilantro lime sauce would've been great with my Bowl but still it was super delicious. Really liked the food, the ambiance, and the pricing was not too bad. It was about $10.75 per Bowl unless you get extra like guac or cauliflower. I also wish they told me that they would charge me extra for the cauliflower but they didn't. Food, prices, location and customer service was great. We got a burrito and burrito bowl. Meat was tasty, ingredients were fresh and the portions were generous. We also got a fresh limeade and a frozen limeade. Yum! They were delicious and perfect on a hot day. My only complaint is their patio. They have a nice patio set up and a view of the lake but the landscaping clearly had not been kept up with and the weeds we're so talk and overgrown I had to stomp them down myself to see the view. It also seemed like they don't clean up the patio because it seemed like leaves and twigs had been collecting for quite some time. That's probably why we were the only people sitting out there. Sad because it's really a nice spot with so much potential if they just clean it up a bit. read more

Puralima is a fresh upgrade from Chipotle. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the meal didn't leave me feeling heavy afterward like Chipotle sometimes does. I had the Chicken al Pastor and it was delicious. The hibiscus limeade was also super refreshing. The employees were warm, friendly, and welcoming. I sat outside and really enjoyed the atmosphere (minus the bugs, but that's expected outdoors). Overall, 10/10 -- I would absolutely recommend trying Puralima over Chipotle if you're looking for fresher ingredients, better flavor, and a lighter, cleaner-feeling meal. Amazing burrito bowls that are way better than what you can buy at Chipotle down the street! Ambiance is a 10 out of 10 in comparison as well! They used to have the best margaritas, but now they have Frozen limeades which are delicious as well. My kids asked to come back here over and over, so it's a family favorite! It's easy to pop in and get a burrito and be on your way, or sit down and enjoy it there as well! The workers are all nice, too! read more

What a great new lunch option in Wayzata! Chipotle but a level or two above! The salad was amazing. Highly recommend adding the pineapple salsa to it. We tried the limeade which was so refreshing. Been waiting for these guys to open for a couple months and was able to try them out tonight at last. We had a couple burritos (chicken and carnitas), a bowl (carnitas), and some chips and salsa (verde and chipotle) delivered. The menu is similar to Chipotle (which begs a comparison) with a few additional twists (ahi tuna, additional veggie toppings, different salsas, etc). I had fresh jalapenos and habanero salsa on my burrito which aren't offered at Chipotle. The bowl had a pineapple pico on it which was a hit as well. The tortillas are good quality and tasty which isn't a given at many burrito joints. Our consensus was the proteins are better than Chipotle--not overly seasoned or too salty but still flavorful and tender. The salsas also beat out Chipotle by a large margin. If I had to compare my meal to the major burrito chains in the area (Chipotle, Qdoba, Pancheros) I'd put Puralima at the top and the other two diners agreed with this as well. Is it the best burrito I've ever eaten? Probably not (Bravo Burrito still holds that title) but Puralima's flavors work very well overall and are very satisfying. I've had issues with Chipotle's declining quality over the years and now with Puralima nearby I probably won't be ordering there anymore. One thing I'd like to see is the salsas available to order separately from the chips. Possibly this is offered in the store but was not an option for delivery. read more
