I've been meaning to try this Richfield staple for some time now and I clearly waited too long -- so good! I got the breakfast burrito and added crispy cheese... it's probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. It's also MASSIVE. I ate half and was very full... so I waited an hour and then ate the other half. Now I'm plain old stuffed. I also got a horchata cold brew... likewise, this may be my new favorite cold brew now. I'll say that I've gone to chipotle every Friday for YEARS and this will be my new Friday burrito spot. The food is reasonably priced and absolutely delicious. It's filling too! I can barely finish an entire burrito and I leave barely able to walk haha you order up front and then go sit down with a table number. The food usually comes out in 5-10 minutes and they'll bring you a water and cutlery. Place also has a bar for any drinks you may want. Nothing very special about the ambiance but who needs that when the food is that good. read more

I saw this place before it opened in the fall. Planned to go there, but events intervened. Luckily, Lito's so far has survived the fist of our extremist government. The ambiance is very modern, with smooth tables and an enormous, vaulted ceiling. Service was quick and efficient, with a cash register/ordering station, and a separate pick-up station to the left. Took about ten minutes to prep my burritos. I ate one of them at home, saving a breakfast burrito for later in the week. Delicious carnitas burrito, good salsa. There is parking in back, and some on the side street without paying. The menu appears unique, a mix of traditional and fusion. Prices are in the $15 range for an entree. We made the drive, and when we reached, we thought it was closed, but turns out, the door is quite hard to pull, so make sure to use more strength to pull. Lol. The servers were all great sand the atmosphere is about what you'd expect from a strip mall Mexican restaurant. Family friendly with TexMex decor and monster trucks on TV. Their cocktails looked pretty good but we didn't get any. Heads up that the burritos during brunch are about 2x the price as during weekday breakfast/lunch. The $14 burrito and $10 chips caught me off guard. I got the sope with vegan soy chorizo. It was pretty good if a little greasy, but that's kind of expected with chorizo. The sope itself was decent. Light weigh a crispy bottom until the grease from the chorizo made it a bit soggy. There was only a little lettuce and sour cream without the $2 protein upcharge so I'm on the fence if it's worth $9. I heard the brisket burrito was good with a very soft tortilla but it didn't have much meat. I would have rated Lito's a 5/5 but when we opened one of our chicken dishes had steak instead, when I tried to call (4 times)it just rings and rings and there doesn't seem to be a way to reach them. It's also almost impossible to order on their website- just go to Toast and do it that way if you're trying to pick up. Whew, okay onto the food. I went with the LA supreme burrito (swap out the beef with chicken). Having lived in SoCal for 5 years I've missed the burritos. When I saw I could have a burrito with french fries in it I knew I was at the right place. Huge burrito with a great amount of filling. The queso blanco added flavor without heat which I exactly what I look for in a queso dip. I would probably order extra next time. I attempted for two days straight to eat food from this place but my experience was abnormal. Each day around 10am I was preparing my online order to have my evening feast later in the day. The online ordering menu on a host of food ordering apps was pretty standard even if for some reason they have two separate beverage categories. Going back to the app to actually place my order for pick up around 4pm, the menu has shrunk to ONLY supreme burritos and the two beverage categories. The breakfast burritos, tacos, wraps, sides, and chicano bites categories as well as the LA burrito were all gone from the menu. Why would a place open until 10pm shrink the menu to drinks and 5 burritos only in the afternoon? I got nothing. I wanted to drop $70 on a feast here but wanted the whole menu. We also ordered the chips and salsa. With each burrito they ask if you want the spicy or not spicy salsas. I got not spicy and the white one was so creamy and perfect. They have a nice assortment of different burrito and food options however note on the weekend, their brunch menu has fewer options than during the week. Originally I was hoping to have the Mexico Supreme but settled on their L.A. Burrito which came with steak, fries, guacamole, rice and beans. My spouse had their brisket breakfast burrito. While I enjoyed my burrito, I thought the fries kind of got lost in the burrito. Nothing really stood out. It all combined well, and tasted good. It wasn't quite what I expected. I thought there would be a more of a potato taste from the fries similar to a Primanti Bro's sandwich. The brisket breakfast burrito was really good! The brisket was really tender and worked very well with the eggs. I would definitely get that again. We enjoyed both of their sauces. The green sauce had a bit more flavor. Their white sauce tasted more like a ranch than salsa which was still great because who doesn't love ranch! We'll definitely be back. read more

I probably only tasted two or three chips from the chilaquiles.. not cool. And lastly, I had a sadly looking skinny carne asada burro that had waaay too much worcestershire sauce. Don't know why. But it was so skinny it was obviously not worth it. The service was good. And the ambience was also good. The reason it's a maybe for me it's because it is way too expensive for what they serve. They don't include anything else as a side for that price. Too much rice on the burritos and little cheese on all of them from the looks. Got a bite of the LA burrito and the chuck steak was tender and seasoned well. Staff was good. I'd work on the sauces. Ordered the morrita crema and tasted like ranch (which I'm cool with), the verde crema definitely wasn't creamy, the Chile de árbol had a nice smoky taste. 4.5 stars one of the better burritos I've had within the Twin Cities! read more
