Pretty sure the Greek gods are eating here. You can almost picture Zeus polishing off a gyro plate while Athena side-eyes him for double-dipping in the hummus. Everything tastes fresh, well-cooked, and seasoned like someone in the kitchen has divine guidance. My gyro plate with a chicken kabob was spot on -- the chicken was so tender it probably sang in a choir once. The grilled zucchini and hummus were equally great -- simple, bright, and clearly blessed by the olive oil gods. It's a little nicer than your usual order-at-the-counter spot -- like if Mount Olympus had a lunch counter. There's even a small bar with draft beer and wine in case Dionysus feels like clocking in. The space is bright, white, and airy -- very "temple of good vibes" energy. Service was friendly and helpful -- mortals doing the gods proud. I was craving some hummus and decided to give this place a go! Holy moly yum!!! There is free parking but this is a very popular area, so it can be difficult. Walking in, the menu is huge in front of you! There is plenty on the menu, so I recommend reviewing it before you go in! The person who took my order and delivered my food was pleasant. The ambiance here is upscale mediterranean. The colors, pictures, olive branch's, evil eye and tv playing clips from Greece all transport you! As someone who has been to Greece, this was an awesome feeling! The food: get the hummus with spicy feta dip! The pita came out warm and the dip was so tasty!!!! I also got a shrimp gyro. What a gem in Maple Grove! Beautiful aesthetic in the dining area and the kitchen looked very clean. The food was all so fresh, perfectly prepared, and great portions for the price. Couldn't have asked for better, more enthusiastic and passionate service from Laney and Howe. We took Laney up on all of her recommendations and tried the spicy feta hummus, spanakopita, lamb kebab, falafel, lemon soup, baklava, affogato, and frappe. My partner and I visited Nupa and ordered the gyro meat combo plate along with their soup special of the day (which we didn't receive), a steak kabob served with a Greek salad. The gyro meat combo plate was solid ~ meat was seasoned well and didn't feel too heavy (4/5). The Greek salad (3.5/5) was fresh and balanced the richness of the meal nicely (nothing fancy). But the real standout for us was the steak kabob (4.5/5)--possibly one of the most tender cuts I've had in a long time. Absolutely delicious. Yum. That said, the portion sizes felt a bit smaller for its price point which brought down the overall value for us. Still, we're happy to support a new, local small business trying to get its footing. The ambience was great. Clean space, neatly set tables, and thoughtful touches like house special herb and spice blends at each table for extra seasoning if you need it. Being a new restaurant, there are definitely some growing pains. Service was a bit backed up, and a few customers who ordered after us received their food before we did. The staff also seemed to be working out some internal systems, which caused delays and confusion--at one point, a staff member had to stop us from eating because the dish might've been for another table, and we also received the wrong soup (and couldn't be bothered to ask for a new one) All in all, we'd rate our experience a 3.5 out of 5, but we'll round up to 4 stars for the potential we see here. The service was phenomenal and all of the staff were terribly friendly and clean. The location was pretty busy but we were able to get a clean table and our appetizer was out within 5 minutes. They have fresh iced cucumber water on hand and fun mocktails if you want. Two adults were able to have a shared appetizer and meal with two sides for 53 bucks. We had it to go to take home and the whole experience was delicious. The restaurant has only been open for about two months, and is clean and bright. We were there around 6:30 on a Saturday evening. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Staff was very friendly and checked on us several times. My partner had the Gyro Meat Plate and Horiatiki salad and Avgolemeno (soup with a savory flavor-good). He said the meat was cold and greasy, like it had been cut a while ago, then reheated (but not heated enough). I had the half size Horiatiki Salad alone. There were too many green peppers and onions for my taste, but the dressing was good. It also came with warm pita. The half order was plenty of food for me. I had a glass of water which turned out to be cucumber water. I don't usually like cucumber water, but the flavor went really well with the meal so I did like it. The tzatziki sauce was really good, creamy and flavourful. They bus the tables, and they do it pretty quickly. We will likely be back. read more

So happy to have Nupa in my neighborhood! It's a lovely restaurant with plenty of seating and friendly staff. It's a fast casual concept where you order everything at the counter and then it's brought out to your table. To start off, my boyfriend and I both ordered beers. He was trying to order an IPA but ended up being served a lager. I'm not convinced that the cashier knew much about beer, but either way he drank it. We ordered the gyros plate and the kebab plate. I love how many fresh side options they give you! The side salads that came with our food were amazing. I thought the gyro meat was tastier than my kebab (steak was a bit overcooked) but the flavors were awesome. We finished with a slice of cheesecake, yum. I also ordered pitas and tzatziki to go which was super easy. This place would be great for those eating clean or gluten free! It appears to be kid friendly as well. We will be back. read more

Been looking forward to trying this place. I got the village salad with gyro meat added. The cucumbers, tomatoes, and bell peppers were so fresh. The gyro meat had a nice crisp edges which I haven't experienced anywhere else before and I loved it. My favorite part though was the service and atmosphere. It was super clean and had more of an upscale look compared to most fast food medetteranialn restaurants. The girl behind the counter was friendly and super helpful. A friend of mine shared an Instagram video where a content creator visited Nupa and raved about the food options, so I had to try it myself. I ordered delivery (steak pita and lemon soup). The food was still hot upon delivery. It was also very flavorful and robust in ingredients and spices. I was highly impressed, so much so that I suggested that my coworkers and I go the next day. I ordered steak and lamb kabobs and lemon soup. Again, PHENOMENAL. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and my coworkers were impressed by the cleanliness of the bathroom lol. Avoid at all costs! We placed an online order for three people (not a huge order) at 5:15 for 5:45 pickup--our first-ever order from Nupa. My husband arrived at 5:45, food wasn't ready. Not a big deal to wait for a bit, and the restaurant wasn't very busy. ONE HOUR LATER, our food was STILL not ready. No apology from staff, no reason given, nothing. At that point, my husband said forget it, we'll need to get food elsewhere. They had already charged our credit card the total order cost plus tip I had added when ordering. They told my husband that night that they would refund the money immediately, which didn't happen. We reached out via phone, email, and their website four separate times with no response at all. Two weeks later, and still no refund. If you're looking to have $100 stolen from you, this is the place to go. Otherwise, recommend avoiding. read more

We had a party of seven who had just finished skating at Central Park and wanted to find a place to eat that could cover all of our needs (including gluten-ftee). A kind gentleman heard us discussing and recommended Nupa's and we decided to check it out. The restaurant ambience was beautiful, there was enough space for all us, the menu had so many options for meat-lovers, vegetarians, and gluten-free folks alike.
