    Vodka pasta-our table's favorite

Visited 3/22/25. First of all, Kyndred Hearth is beautiful. Super spacious and cool with darker lighting and an abundance of tables. Location feels kind of like its own world since it is attached to the Viking Omni hotel and is nearest to the training center in Eagan. Staff was super helpful and friendly from the start. There were lots of different drink options and I got a cider while my mom and sister each got glasses of wine. Then to eat we shared an order of arancini as a starter. It was perfectly cheesy and accompanied with fresh marinara. My mom ordered the mushroom pizza, my sister the vodka pasta, and me the sweet Italian pizza. Everything was delicious but we all agreed we liked the pasta best. It tasted homemade and was perfectly al dente. I liked my sausage pizza too and it heated up in the oven well as leftovers for lunch the next day. Overall while the menu could benefit from a few more vegetarian entree options, it was a solid dinner and a cool layout.

Much like the rest of the Omni, the restaurant experience did not disappoint. I was staying at the hotel with a few girlfriends and we were hungry far earlier than expected. Walked into the hostess and she was incredibly accommodating to fit us in early for our reservation. We started with some cocktails, and each of them were tasty including my personal dry martini order. As there were dozens of items that looked delicious, we split a pizza, two pastas and the chicken. All were absolutely, plate licking good and the portions were generous. I also have to emphasize not to sleep on the chicken, I'm so glad our server recommended! The waitress was very friendly and the space is big and open. It is quite loud and vibrant but there are some pockets you could sit in for a more private experience. Would definitely visit again and also saw many people grab to go orders and enjoy a brew at the bar while they waited so even if you're not looking for a dinner out, could be a great eat in option!

Finally got a chance to head over here for dinner (figured was going to get a gift card for someone, so wanted to be able to tell them about the food). Kyndred Hearth did not disappoint. Everyone had told me how fancy/expensive it was, which, I will say, yes, it is more upscale, but I didn't find it to be pretentious or terribly unreasonable prices. I can't say no to arancini, so when I saw those on the menu, I was thrilled. They were delicious. I was really in a burger mood the day we went, and the Skol burger was great, albeit, too much for me (maybe a single patty instead of double would have been better). Drinks were also good and also couldn't pass up the ice cream with olive oil. Hubs had the Baked Alaska, which was also great. Will definitely come back again!

Recommended. Being in MSP for work, we were recommended Kyndered Hearth for a good meal and was not disappointed. It took a bit to get us seated despite arriving at our reservation time. We waited 15-20 to be seated. Party of 5, we elected to share 3 pizzas and apps amongst us. We ordered the Margarita, meat & mushroom pizzas. They were oven baked with a crispy crust.

Stumbled upon this place in 2020 for an anniversary date and had an awesome time. Pasta was amazing and everything felt completely upscale but at reasonable prices, so we were so impressed. Came back in 2024 to celebrate our anniversary again and brought my family in for a birthday this year (2025). Food is still just as amazing and delicious. We tried the Korean short rib this time and if you love sweet ribs, this is the perfect order. Lumache lobster pasta is still as delicious, rigatoni alla vodka for a little kick, and ravioli was so tasty! Tried the scallops and the salmon and would highly highly recommend it as well. Everything was just phenomenal all around. Had some delicious cocktails and two bottles of wine as well and server was very patient in explaining the different taste to us! It was a great experience :)

Woohoo! I finally got the chance to eat at Kyndred Hearth! I came in a Friday night at 5:15PM and was able to easily find a parking spot. Since it is connected to the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel, there are large surface lots available for parking. There is also a valet option. The ambience is bright yet moody and there's a wide range of people there. Kids in pajamas to people dressed in dressy casual attire. There is a large bar, a high top area right by the pizza oven, and other tables and partial booths scattered around the restaurant. Our server was attentive and when I asked about gluten free options, they were quick to explain that many dishes are gluten free or can be made gluten free. They even have gluten free pizza crust. I am usually not used to many options so I had a pretty hard time deciding what to get. I was pleased to see that the drink menu had mocktail options. I ordered the passion berry punch very much. Our table got the antipasti and meatballs for an appetizer. They were thoroughly enjoyed. I finally decided on the hanger steak which was cooked to perfection..although small. I enjoyed splitting the wood oven-roasted beets with my sister. And of course, we had dessert. I've never had a chocolate budino (which is GF) and it was quite delicious. Yum. Cannot wait to be back. *One thing that was a bit annoying....the menus are physically large and it was very difficult to find a place for them since they took up a significant portion of the table. We ordered appetizers before our main meals so our server did not take them when she took our appetizer order although we would have been ready to order everything.

Beautiful space connecting the Vikings Omni hotel. Can be intimate or casual depending on your intentions. There is an expansive wine list that includes some reallly good details on helping you choose your perfect pair. The menu seemed a bit limited but a decent amount of variety. Nothing stood out to me as something I'd like to come back for however. Service was a bit slower than expected but our host was friendly. The short rib was average and the chicken sandwich was also okay.

We came here last night on the recommendation of our son and DIL who were here recently and loved it. The restaurant is beautiful and very well laid out. We had cocktails upstairs at Ember & Ice before our dinner reservation. Highly recommend a signature cocktail at this lovely bar. We sat at the bar (after being graciously moved from the slightly wobbly, slightly uncomfortable high top table) and the service was amazing. I had the tavern pizza which was delightful. Hubby had the hot chicken sandwich and that was equally delightful. And as you can see, there were fries for days. Had the vanilla soft serve with caramel and sea salt for dessert. Definitely a little skimpy on the caramel, but still tasty. Beware this restaurant is quite loud. It seems like all restaurants now with high ceilings are very loud so not too surprising.

It's been awhile since we've been here and it was a good reminder we should go back more often. This last visit was to celebrate our anniversary. It's menu variety makes it a great place for a special occasion or just a casual gathering. We started with the meatballs. It was a substantial starter and very good. I chose the salmon special for my entree and husband had Binchotan chicken. The sauce and veggie combo with the salmon was an excellent complement of texture and taste. Both meals were very good. We finished with sea salt caramel ice cream. Didn't need it but it was so good. Service was excellent. Parking easy. Great anniversary stop.

The first two visits I came here I would've given a 3.5 star. I am increasing it to 4 stars due to the consistency of the apps and how I think they are all good each time I come. The Korean ribs The snap peas and fingerling potatoes save the day. The first time I went, the fingering potatoes were very memorable as well. Has a great crispy texture flavored with just the right amount of seasoning. Overall, I'll probably be back!

Wow, now THIS is pizza! One of the best pies I've had. Extremely well made and high quality ingredients. Fennel sausage is straight money. Extremely large restaurant but you better make resos cause this place is busy! Even the bar was fully packed not long after opening time. 20 or so seats around the bar, lots of TV's. Great ambiance and would definitely return. Wish their hours were a bit better, especially as a guest here. But it's all good. I'll be back for some za.

I can't tell you how many times I've tried disappointing Phillys across MN - we really need to get our act together. This sandwich broke the chain of disappointment. The sandwich itself was loaded with meat and peppers. They weren't stringy with their cheese either. I did get the cheese wiz on the side because I don't like that. The bun itself was toasted but still chewy. As I wrote this I'm salivating. That good! My bestie and I also tried the buffalo chicken sandwich - it was good, but honestly I don't remember tasting any buffalo sauce - it looked like a standard grilled chicken patty. They also have other amenities, but so far I've only been here to pickle some balls. Reserving a court without a membership is possible, but it can be tricky because members get first dibs; they can reserve courts further in advance. And that membership is STEEP. As of November 2025 it is $139/month or $1295/year. And if you're playing with non-members, they still have to pay a share for a reservation! That's too rich for my blood, but apparently I'm in the minority because currently there is a waitlist of over 100 to even sign up for a membership. But the normal hourly court rates are reasonably priced; I've seen and used more expensive places. But that expensive membership also grants access to the "Wellness" areas, which include sauna and cold plunge facilities as well as regular gym equipment. There is a much more reasonable membership that allows access to that stuff, but none of the pickleball. I haven't tried that, nor have I tried anything from the very cute cafe (It's only open Wed-Sun, and I keep missing it). I may need to update this to report on their food & drink offerings. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the cafe, and actually throughout the building there are tons of really attractive and cozy places to sit and pass the time. There is also a party room that you can book. My friends and I have really had a great time playing pickleball here and we will return with some regularity.

As well as, everything generally just came out as if it had been sitting around, it was cold and a bit stale. I also ordered a "THE FARMER" from their breakfast menu, and though this was better and a little fresher, the potatoes were still cold and mostly uneatable. So, inna nutshell I haven't tried everything, but this isn't the first time a meal I've had from there came out subpar.
