I've already reviewed this, but I wanted to add additional pictures of different foods I've tired. I ordered the specialty Scratch pizza, fried pickles, and mozzarella sticks. The pizza hit hard. SO good. I enjoyed everything and I think this place rocked it - even to the fine details - ranch and marinara sauce was excellent. I typically don't like marinara sauce for mozzarella sticks, but I loved this one. I found out this is their pasta sauce so I can only imagine how awesome their pasta is. First time here. Heard about this place through other yelpers. I was in Eagan anyway at a craft fair and stopped in on a saturday afternoon. I ordered fried pickle spears and a 10" pineapple pizza. When paying, I asked if they needed my name, Michelle and she said you're the only one here. Kind of a rude reply. I waited and double checked pizza and other box and it was accurate. Cook asked I needed red pepper flakes or parmesan cheese. I said if the pizza is good, I won't need it. Drove 15 minutes home and dug in. Shared 2 pieces of pizza with husband and he also agreed the sauce was not as flavorful as Red Savoy. We judge all pizza by Red Savoy standards. The crust was thin and good. It's been sometime since I visited Scratch Pizzeria, so it was so nice to visit Tuesday evening for dinner and business work. It wasn't super busy inside the restaurant, but noticed a handful of people coming in for carry out orders. Tatum was our waitress, she was friendly. We couldn't decided between the fried pickles and mozzarella sticks, so decided to go big and get both. For pizza we ordered the scratch thin pizza--well done. Everything was delicious from the service to our meal. This is a local small family restaurant where everyone is so friendly. We had a few errands to run and we were craving pizza. We had to go to hyvee just across the way and decided to stop here for a date night dinner. We walked in and grabbed a seat. A lady came over to take our order and bring us drinks. We ordered a Butcher Pizza but instead of Canadian bacon we substituted green olives. The server brought it out as soon as it was finished - piping hot and extra gooey cheese! The bottom was perfectly crisp - not too crisp but didn't get soggy at all! The Italian sausage was perfectly spiced and the chicken was delicious! I've never had a pizza with chicken on it but this was great! I added crushed red pepper for a little spice and we still had leftovers to bring home! Well worth the value for what you pay. We eat out pretty often and we especially love our pizza date nights. This is definitely in my boyfriend's top 5 pizza spots he's visited and it's in my top 3. Pricing was reasonable as well - you get a lot of food for the price of the pizza. Hearty toppings, gooey cheese and a good thick crust to support it all. My mouth is watering just writing this review. Take my word and go try it yourself. Delicious! read more

Not over done but not bare walls either. There is a fair amount of seating with booths! This place was very clean! You can tell they take care of the joint! The service was TOP NOTCH!! Our server was very friendly!! And when we left, the cook waved and thanked us for coming in as well!! Our server was prompt and made sure we had everything we needed! The food! We had a thin crust and if you like thin crust, this is your place! The crust was thin, crunchy and chewy in all the right places! Strip mall restaurant with good food. We took our two granddaughters for pizza. They have a kids menu as well as games to play on the table while waiting for pizza. Kids had cheese pizza and we tried the Farm pizza thin crust. They also have deep dish pizza but we are not fans. The Farm pizza had homemade delicious Italian sausage, pepperoni, red onion, green pepper, black olives. It was served hot and cut tavern style in squares which were love. I would have liked the bottom to be a little crisper in the middle, but it was very g good. The House salad had Romaine lettuce with banana pepper, tomato, cucumber, croutons and your choice of dressing. We got the homemade ranch and it was summer of the best ranch we've ever had. We ordered fries (so good with homemade ranch dressing) and a medium deep dish Scratch pizza. You guys, this was the best pizza I've had in Minnesota and top three or all time. The crust was awesome. This is a nice cozy restaurant. There's a bar in the front, and the tables are in the back. Our server was very nice. After giving us our order she came back multiple times to check on us. I ordered a pomegranate mock tail and it was just perfect. It was a nice carbonated drink with a refreshing pomegranate flavor and a lemon on the side of the glass. For a starter we ordered garlic cheese bread that was hot and came with seasoned red sauce. The cheese was nice and stretchy, but they used regular, not toasted bread for the base. Next we ordered a garden pizza. It came with so many fresh vegetables. The base of the pizza was slightly stale and the sauce seemed old as well. My husband and I tried out this new Eagan spot on a recent Saturday night. We had a deep dish pizza and it was good although the dough was a little dense. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. I was glad to see some local beers on their tap list, including some that you rarely see in restaurants like Blackstack and Bad Weather. They also have wine and cocktails, but we didn't try any of them. The space is fairly small but well-decorated. It has a family vibe to it, with generally bright lights and bold colors. And there were a lot of families there! I would probably get the pizza again but carry-out rather than eat in, just because I'm looking for a different ambiance. read more

Went on a Friday evening around 6. It took about 10 min to get a table, but then the server didn't come to take our order until the hostess reminded her about 10-15 min after we sat down. Following that, it took OVER AN HOUR to get our pizza. Not ideal when dining with kids. Pizza was fine. Cut into squares. Crust was decent and plenty of delicious cheese and veggies. Cesar salad was good. Other salads looked decent, too, but the dressing selection wasn't my fave (I like a good selection of vinaigrettes and they had zero to offer). So we went with Cesar. Kids menu! We love a place with a kids menu. Mini pizzas, meatballs, butter noddles. My daughter really liked her mini pizza as it didn't have too much sauce and had lots of cheese. They don't give serving spatulas with the pizza, and have super cheap utensils at the tables, so serving the pizza was kind of a disaster. Super messy to serve (cheese and toppings came off because we had no great way to dig in). Server comped our beer since the wait for food was so ridiculous. I appreciated that and we made sure to tip nicely as the pizza delay certainly wasn't her fault. Clearly, they're not quite set up to take as many orders as they're getting. I'd consider going again in 6-12 months to see if they improve, but they need to get their processes worked out first. read more

I have no idea what kind of pepperoni or spice on them is. If someone actually likes about this place, I'd love to hear your side of the story, and then fight you. I'd actually love to hear people tell me why they like it. I'll be waiting to see these reviews. Oh. The other reviewer said he enjoyed the ambiance. Look, ok that's a red flag.
