Cheese pizza with pineapple
Michele H.

Yum!!! Finally, another good pizza spot that reminds me of pizza from back home (Chicago). I'm ready to make them one of my go-to options for pizza delivery. I tried a cheese pizza with pineapple (go ahead, tell me how disgusted you are, I don't care). Phenomenal. The crust to sauce to cheese to topping ratio is immaculate. They use a lot of cheese and I mean A LOT of cheese, just like pizza places back in Chicago do. The crust was crispy and crunchy with bits of cornmeal. They don't skimp on the sauce, which is what I have historically found with pizza in MN. I ordered through Door Dash which makes delivery kind of out of their control, but the pizza was ready and arrived on time and was still hot when I got it. So, kudos to the restaurant and Door Dash. Highly recommend. I can see why they have 2 locations. Wish I had known of them sooner.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality, taste, and crispiness of Eastside Pizzeria's pie. It was delicious with a nice crisp, but not burnt, crust with a good crunch. The sauce was just right, it had an abundance of cheese that was nicely browned, and the toppings were flavorful. I would definitely order from here again.

Rodeo burger with onion rings!

I live around the corner from Eastside Pizzeria and have ordered a lot from them over the last year or two and they have never disappointed me. The pizzas are great and they have the best burgers. The fries and onion rings are off the chart awesome. These guys do it right!

Had take out pizza here tonight. The clerk told us the pizza would be ready in 30 minutes. They were right on. The pizza was coming out of the oven as I came in. We ordered two pizzas and a side of rings. Everything was served hot. Fresh ingredients. Great taste and plenty of flavor. Plenty of cheese! The dine in area looks very nice. Not much on site parking. I would certainly return.

Next time I order Nachos, please do not deliver ones to 1332 with burnt edges - this has happened twice now. Thank you.

I love Piada and wish they were closer to me (outside of MOA). I was in the area seeing a movie and…read morehad to have a Carbonara bowl. Piada is definitely among my favorite fast casual spots. I typically get the Carbonara bowl, spaghetti noodles, all the toppings besides bacon and add hot chicken. So good!! I will say I don't eat beef/pork and I notice they use the same mixing bowl which is slightly an issue for me. I went later in the evening and it wasn't busy at all. The staff were slow at getting to me besides it not being busy but it generally was a smooth, decently quick experience.

Got in line at 7:14pm and didn't leave until 7:40pm for one regular pasta with crispy chicken. They…read morewere busy but there seemed to be no rhyme or reason to how they were doing things. No one was communicating with what needed what and I know they needed to wait for the chicken to cook for some but there was no communication that that's what the hold up was. My pasta was just sitting in the line with no lid (until I paid) so it was cold by the time I got home. There was a girl behind me that got a piada and was all done way before mine but they didn't get her to the register until like five minutes after too. The cook and one of the guys on the line really seemed to be the only two with an urgency about them. I like the good here but dang idk if it'll be worth coming back, during a busy time at least.

Didn't hate and didn't love. I'm mostly excited to know that Union Depot isn't on life support as I…read moreonce thought it was. My family stumbled across 1881after attending the North Pole Express. To my surprise, the interior of the depot is full of life, varying stores and amongst the commotion, 1881. 1881 sits inside the depot boasting an open air concept as there's no walls resembling a giant patio. The host was really sweet and we were able to score a table with no reservation on a Sunday. Breakfast is served until 4 pm which is a win in my book! Service and staff dress attire is polished resembling the sister company, Lake Elmo Inn. By design, 1881 is a higher end cuisine yet by no means it the dress code of customers required to be fancy. I ordered the Korean Beef Bowl and it was okay. The presentation was 100% there but I felt like it could use more sauce. It was very healthy for sure! Other items at my table included wings, berry salad, burger and spaghetti which goes to show the wide variety of options. While I can't say that I would actively go back at my own free will because that area of town is not something I do frequently along with the disconnected parking lot, I recommend stopping if you're at the depot for sure. Thank you, 1881! Glad to see a business occupy this space.

Strong recommendation to make a reservation in advance. There are no walk-ins after a certain…read morepoint, and the space is small enough that availability disappears quickly. If you're dining with children, request the couch seating area. It offers noticeably more flexibility and breathing room compared to the standard tables, which makes a difference in such a compact restaurant. As for the food: while I don't doubt that other menu items are solid, the Korean gochujang bowl fell flat for me. The flavor profile was fairly plain, and while hot sauce was available, it didn't complement the dish--it felt mismatched rather than additive. The three-star rating reflects a combination of factors: the tight space, the added hassle of the train station location, and a main dish that didn't quite deliver. Not a bad experience, but not one that fully lived up to expectations either.

We went there before they closed down for renovation…read more Stuffed tofu is definitely my favorite item out of everything on their menu. It was crisp and vegetables inside felt fresh. The sauce that came with it is also a perfect pairing to the dish. The 4 pieces really fill you up so definitely good for its price. Portions are definitely good at this restaurant and you can easily find street parking in the neighborhood behind. Mohinga was okay. It was behind the first two times I came here. The fish cake in Mohinga was tasty as well as the fried peas. The boat noodle has very rich flavor. Broth was good and they gave generous amount of bean sprouts. La Phat Ye was good. They normally don't offer iced but we asked them to change. Overall, it's a great restaurant with decent prices and we hope that we can get back into business ASAP.

In terms of food, there is a mixture of Burmese, Thai, and Karen dishes, and each one that my friends and I have ordered has been a hit. The tea leaf salad has amazing texture because of peanuts and fried garlic, which provide crunchiness, and has amazing flavor because of lemon juice, fish sauce, and tomatoes. The noodle salad has a light taste without adding the given lime piece, and then the rich nutty taste gets evoked and elevated upon adding lime juice. The zaap crispy has very well-seasoned fried chicken pieces, and medium spice level gives it a good amount of flavor. The shan khao soi is so creamy and tasty that even tasting the curry broth itself is a sensational experience, and the chicken leg included literally has "fall off the bone" meat. The boat noodle has a mixture of sweetness and savor, while the sweet flavor does not overpower anything at all. Finally, the mohinga clearly has fish cake flavor and texture fully infused, making it authentically delicious. We also ordered the knyaw iced salad, which was a mixture of ice along with crackers and other types of sweet ingredients. I thought it was very similar to a type of Vietnamese dessert called chè ba màu (three color pudding), and fully enjoyed it. The establishment only had one dessert, and I thought that was sufficient. While the street contains many excellent restaurants, I personally believe that this establishment stands out in terms of taste. I must also mention that since my friends and I arrived when barely anyone else was there each time we had gone there, we never experienced any service delays that some have mentioned in their reviews. I probably will give this place a 5 rating anyway even if I experience slowness, although I hope I don't.
