So, picture this scenario- it's 4:40 pm on Mother's Day Sunday when I realize I HAVE to get color copies of something pretty urgent important for my office by tomorrow morning (I do not have a color printer at my house). I know there is a Fed Ex and a Postal Annex both pretty close to my house. I looked up Fed Ex and saw they were open until 7pm. Score! I was so relieved as this was a super time sensitive item I needed to print. Jumped in my car and decided that Postal Annex was closer so I should go there instead. I pulled into a parking spot at 4:56 and to my dismay I saw they closed at 5pm. I ran in anyway just to confirm that was true, and the super nice gentleman said yes, they do close at 5. No big deal. But I did ask 'For future reference, are you guys able to print out color copies from my phone?' He said they could. I wasn't too stressed out knowing I could still make it to Fed Ex. But.....the nice man, who's name turned out to be Lance, said 'You know what? Let's just get you taken care of real quick. Is the document you need in your email?' It was. So he set me up on a computer where I could log into Gmail. Whew! I was trying so hard to be quick and so of course couldn't remember my password, and had to do a quick reset. Once I pulled up the email with the document, he switched me seats, and got all 6 copies printed. While they were printing, we had a great talk about the BLAZERS game 7 win! He even gave me a tiny bit of a discount. All in all, it was s great experience and I appreciated him staying open just a few minutes later, especially on Mother's Day! I know I could have still gone to another location that was open later, but it was fantastic that I didn't have to! Thanks Lance for a positive experience! If I could give them a 0 I would rude lying employees they tried to make $2 off me by saying they charge for shipping out my prepaid USPS box... what a joke cause I've dropped off a previous prepaid USPS box with them before! The woman named Katie or Katy was working she skipped me in line when I was waiting there first and helped out the woman behind me.... I told her I was waiting and she said she'll be with me after! What a joke!! Then she claims that they charge $1.50 now for sending out prepaid USPS boxes then she quickly changed it to $2.00! So I grabbed my box and left! I can drop it off at the postal office for free cause it's prepaid! Save yourself the gas, time, money, and trip do not come here and do not give them any business. They'll have to learn the hard way you cannot do this to customers when they've had dropped off PREPAID boxes before for free! Nice try Katie/Katy but you're not scamming me for $2.00! Nope. I just dropped off three packages with prepaid labels and was charged a service fee for each one! The clerk tells me they are a small business so they need to charge the fee. For what - putting my packages in the post box?? I went over to the mail store in Progress Ridge just to ask about this and they do not charge additional fees for packages with prepaid labels. Shipper BEWARE! There is a blond woman who works there with a generally rude and unpleasant attitude. I dropped an already stamped package there. The rude woman was there and told me to leave it on the counter. I usually get notifications from the app I use to ship and I hadn't received anything for two days. I came by asking why my package hadn't been sent and she asked if I had a receipt for it. This same woman was the one who told me to leave it on the counter..no word of getting a receipt. She told me to contact the post office. THEN maybe 4 hours later guess who receives a notification that my package shipped? AND my two day shipment sent on wednesday night won't get there until Monday...the same day I go in to the postal annex the shipping notification appears two days later? Although she didn't admit to it, the timing of it all is quite suspicious. Seems like someone didn't like me dropping a package off that I didn't pay them for. Oh and btw, I sent an envelope with one key in it and printed one piece of paper, sent regular mail.. cost me almost $10. $3 plus a fee to print the paper QUICKLY. I wish it were possible to give negative stars. I called this location in the morning hours to verify they offered a service that was advertised on their website. And after driving all the way there (this location was not close to me), guess what?? They didn't offer the service!!! I told them I called earlier and was told they did provide this service. The gal behind the counter was aloof at best. She mentioned they should get that taken off their web site. Gee - you think? Nice over worked employees but $20 for a USPS FLAT RATE BOX (mail price domestic is $13.45) is way out of whack.

I recently had to ship an item to be returned. I stopped by this store asking if I emailed them my return label if they could print it off for me. The lady said yes that wouldn't be a problem. She failed to mention that for me to have her check her email and print off one label they would charge me $2.95. I understand having to pay for the envelope but $2.95 for "office services" to check an email and print one label seems a little excessive! I will go to fedex from now on where they don't charge for this. read more

I just tried to drop off usps mail to be picked up later by the usps!! That they have been accepting for weeks and wanted to charge me today saying everybody is doing this now??? If it were possible to give this location ZERO stars, I would. I had a client bring them a Priority Express $22.95 Flat Rate Envelope with their Loved ones Cremated Remains inside for mailing. The cost should have been $22.95 + a few extra dollars for their service fee. The Manager "Jeff" told these poor folks that they could not use the Flat Rate Envelope we provided and proceed to Charge them $56.98. My clients were distraught at the loss of their loved one and trusted "Jeff" to be telling the truth. They paid the $56.98. Jeff then used the envelope I provided and paid the commercial rate of $20.66 Flat Rate to mail the envelope to me. When I called the store, I was told that they DO charge more than the post office and stood behind there actions. Don't trust this store. We're keeping all of our documentation on this as I'm sure they will attempt to lie their way out. read more

I knew it was a bad idea to go to a store in a little plaza next to a gas station to get things done around here but I desperately needed to fax something, so I called around and found about this little place. When I first called in, a man answered and told me that it would cost me $1 per page to fax. Ok, whatever, I can do that because I'm desperate. I get there, this lady faxes my papers and then rings me up for...wait for it...$4.50! WTF?! Let me tell you a little something...when someone tells you it costs $1/page to send a fax, it does NOT add up to 4.50 for 2 pages. I told her this and she goes, "Oh, I'm sorry about that because we also charge for blah blah and blah" but proceeds to charge me 4.50 anyways. If you're going to tell a customer how much something costs on the phone, it's YOUR fault and you should fix it. Don't surprise the customer with more than 100% increase in price. This is the best part. I called the company the papers were faxed to, to see if they received my fax and they only received the cover page. JUST the cover page out of 2 pages????? Not good enough. I called Postal Annex back and the final lady i get transferred to tells me, "I'm sorry we can't refund it. You got a confirmation page which says it worked on our end. Anything beyond that is not our problem." Well let me tell you something, if it cost me $4.50 (surprise by the way) and you don't honor the price you told me via phone, don't get my pages sent through AND tell me that you're not really responsible for anything past that...I have news for you: None of my friends will go to your location. Trust me. Oh and when I was talking to her, she wasn't paying attention to what I was saying but instead just thinking of the script for her response, which is "no refund." That is so ridiculous. If you can't even listen to a customer, your store should close or get new personnel. ASAP. I worked in retail/customer service, I know how this stuff works and Postal Annex has got it all wrong. read more

I went here to mail a 8x11 envelope, which contains very important docs to California. I paid $4.75 and left. Later I went back to see if I could sent it faster for a little more. I asked if it went out and they assured me that it did. I said I'm not sure what time I dropped it off. I asked if I could look at the mail they had and sure enough it was right on top. They weren't happy about it. That's when I noticed it cost $2.30 to mail it. They charged me more than double. When I first asked about the price being so high they said it was the postal service price. They lied and the guy yelled at me because I questioned the price. Bad angry service and dishonest. Their prices are not posted anywhere. They wanted $23 to ship it by UPS. I WILL NEVER go to this place again. read more

We have used PostalAnnex for everything from Christmas presents to Outer Mongolia, car parts to New York and to just drop mail off or buy birthday cards. They have also faxed important papers and scanned an emailed also for me. NEVER ONE PROBLEM!!! It is so nice to have the addresses in their computer at holiday time. They just pull us up, print out a label and its done. Love this place and the people are fantastic and know their jobs. read more

BEWARE!! You should only walk into this business if you are prepared to be treated poorly! My daughter and I went there to ship 3 small 2lb boxes of christmas cookies the saturday after christmas. We were ignored, talked down to, laughed at, threatened and provoked by employees Alice and Stacy. The staff there seem to get off on provoking the customers and escalating an upsetting situation instead of trying to provide service - which is confusing since this is a service based business. The cost to send the 3 small boxes via usps priority mail was gonna be about $90!! Needless to say, i did NOT use thier services and instead sent the boxes at the post office on Monday via usps priority mail for a total of $37.95. They were trying to charge me more than DOUBLE the actual cost to send the boxes! This business should be ashamed of both thier nasty, rude employees and their attempt to rip off the general public!
