Wow!! What great service. They were open right when they said they would be. They had notaries all day. They had reasonably priced packaging materials of all sorts available. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I'd like to give a special shout out to Arnie, who was just about one of the nicest, most positive people I have ever met! I was mailing out a Response to the IRS disputing my denied Refund, as well as a 1040-X. I was NOT in a good mood. Arnie was just so pleasant and cute that he settled all my ruffled feathers and made the end of a horrible process (the IRS) really quite wonderful!! What was really cool was that Postal Solutions is something called 'homeland-compliant,' so Arnie created an account for me on my first item to be shipped. On the next item, my info was already ready to simply pop into the mailing process. I left and decided to complete a third item in the car, and when I went back in, my man Arnie set me up quick and neatly once again. This place was recommended to me by my landlord who is the best landlord I've ever had. He is more than fair when it comes to business and fairness so when he goes out of his way to recommend a store I'm all ears. He said that Arnie at Postal Solutions is super friendly and the prices are reasonable. All this was true. Postal Solutions offers a TON of services the prices are just about what you would pay at Staples. Now normally I'm a pretty big Staples fan. But have you tried the one on Hawthorne Blvd. The copy center is a night mare. One time they printed business cards for me and i got them 5 weeks LATER! TERRIBLE! Everytime I've gone there for copies its been an utter wreck. I usually wind up driving to the OTHER end of Torrance to go to the Staples I don't have to wait in line at. so I'm REALLY glad I found this place. Saves me a trek. and Gas. This place is super speedy check out. Has a very local feel. You can even support the local community they sell girl scout cookies at the counter. Samoans! . I shook the owners hand and chit chatted with him about business, search engine optimization, online marketing. You know, Geek Speak. I'm happy with the speed of the service and the prices and say whats up to Arnie he's a really nice guy! The only drawback is as a foodie I house 2/3rds a box of Samoans before I got home. I like this place because it has an easy-to-access parking lot unlike the horrid post offices in Gardena and Torrance. Usually, the wait is under 5 minutes. Staff is nice, but when they show you your mailing options on the screen, the lowest (under 13 oz) is always USPS First Class mail with tracking. Anything more they will be Priority. The last time I was there it was around $6 to send a letter certified. I assume this is an increase in USPS rates as I rarely mail a letter, but I opted to skip that and get a regular stamp. However, I noticed that they charged me $0.79 for the stamp. The bottom of the reicept says, "US POSTAL RATES SUBJECT TO SURCHARGE." I guess it was a 30 cent surchage. So take the pros and cons of coming here. Another pro to the parking situation is that they were selling Girlscout cookies here (cash only). read more

I have no idea what financial hardship your talking about because I never asked for one or received one. No I did not start service in 2013 and have the original contract proving that. You locked me out of my box following my review. About 6 days after. So yes I refused to pay since you refused to forward any mail you were holding following your actions. As for missing packages I have all the E-claims filed with USPS. Your employees are the ones who said "oh that package has been there for a month" yet zero notifications in po box. So you can say all you want but I have facts to back my claims. Plus the fact it's taken you this long to reply shows you don't pay attention to customers and their needs. This review is for their NOTARY services only. DO NOT GO HERE to get documents notarized. They were extremely rude in helping! I am a foreigner, so I understand that part of the main issue in my case was not their fault and it's a law issue, but the guy who was supposed to help me was extremely rude and NOT cooperative in helping find a solution for what I needed. BOTTOM LINE: POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Response: I did not asked them to break the law. And them replying that here cause I am a foreigner should speak to their poor customer service. I also did no ask for lawyer advice. They were rude and dismissive and made me and are still making me feel like a criminal simply for asking questions instead of being professional and customer service oriented. When I first started my first home based internet based mail order business in 1997, I took out a small mailbox at Postal Solutions. One of the main reasons why I chose PS is because I got a real Torrance Blvd. street address, not a p.o. box number. Corporate image was very important to me. Arnie soon inquired about my business and offered to help me by allowing me to put my brochures on his counter. I quickly realized that Arnie truly enjoys helping others. As the number of my orders grew, the number of returns also grew and his staff would have to handle these daily returns. I originally left a less than positive review for Postal Solutions and the owner, Arnie, contacted me and told me he wanted to do everything in his power to make things right. After talking to him we realized the incident in which I was overcharged was just a matter of miscommunication and he refunded me the charge. He also counseled his staff in order to prevent future mistakes like the one I experienced. I came in again to ship a care package to my buddy in Iraq and everything went very smoothly. I came in at around 5PM on Tuesday and there was no line. If I went to the post office to ship my package, I would have been waiting in line just to park my car. Plus I didn't pay any more than what the Post Office charges but also got my package padded and sealed for free. I doubt the manager at the Post Office would contact me and try to make things right if I had a bad experience at the Post Office. I've also had a lot of bad experiences at UPS stores of being overcharged for packaging/shipping. The owner of Postal Solutions really takes pride in his business and puts his customers first and provides a personal level of service that's hard to find anywhere else. read more

I recently moved to Hawaii and had to move all my earthly possession sans furniture. I went to a Ups store initially and found them to be expensive. My sister recommend Postal Solutions and boy it was a great call! I just couldn't get my act together to pack properly. Arnie took me by the hand with my multitude of boxes in disarray and told me it would be okay. He says their motto is to treat everything as if it were there's and pack it so it won't break and so it for the least cost. Everything arrived perfectly and now all I have to do is unpack. 8¢ b&w copies (much cheaper than Fedex I believe!) Staff was very helpful. Copy machine worked smoothly. Helped me figure out the best way to mail my stack of papers. They don't use a copy key, so if you're copying multiple pages, you'll need to check the copier for the number of copies made before you start, and then how many after in order to tell the cashier how much you owe them. Space is tight though, so you have to look around a bit for the two copiers behind shelves. The price of copies was worth it though! read more

After you come here to mail a package once, you will never want to go anywhere else. Everything about this business is top-notch. Parking is effortless with a large parking lot out front. They have dollies out front so you can load all your packages from your car and roll it into the business without having to carry the heavy packages yourself. They immediately take measurements of what you are mailing, immediately find a box that is just the right size, and can generously bubble wrap anything fragile. They store the addresses of any previous packages you have sent through them, so you you can find it on the computer screen they show you, a label is printed, and you're out the door in minutes. Every person working here is friendly, cheerful and efficient. I have had documents notarized here also. I brought all my Christmas gifts in to mail several times this week, and it was such a pleasant experience each time. I've used this business every year for mailing all my Christmas gifts, and many times throughout the year. Also, they are keeping everyone safe during Covid by having all employees wear masks, requiring all customers to wear a mask, there is plexiglass separating the employees from the customers, and there are signs on the floor to keep us 6 feet apart. Not only did both Alex and Arnie, the General Manager go out of their way to help me figure out the appropriate packaging, they actually assisted me with the appropriate process to close the sale in eBay with the least amount of liability. Great place to address pretty much all of your postal/printing needs. I've been going to this place for years for notary, printing, shipping, and passport/visa pix. Arnie, Alex, and Patricia are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and you can trust that an important package will end up where it's supposed to when you ship through them. The store also sells everything you need for holiday shipping and gifting-- cards, bubble wrap, boxes, decorated padded envelopes, tape, etc. Parking is free. There is also a USPS dropbox located at the location so you can dump your regular mail in there for an afternoon pick up. read more

They were happy to take my money, until there was a problem. One clerk is super slow and makes a lot of typing errors. So one of my packages was returned to them because the name was wrong and they did not accept the return, so now a $200 item is being mailed back to the wrong person again. They were not helpful at resolving the issue, and said they don't accept returns even though their address was on the return label. So now I have no way to recover my package which was $200 worth of merchandise. I was a weekly/returning customer so I spent/lost a lot of money there since they charge way more than the post office. So I won't be going back there. Very disappointed in a place I thought I could trust with my business. read more

These guys are excellent. They offer a number of products/services (including a notary) besides the post office boxes. They might be a little more expensive (I'm not sure since I never have compared their prices with a competitor since I am a very happy customer). There typically is a line, but it moves very fast.
