It's laid back, simple, clean. Bar is pretty comfortable seating-wise. Bartenders are always kind and hospitable. In fact, this time around I chose a drink I didn't like and the bartender asked if they could make me another one. I told them only if they would let me pay for the one I didn't like (I'm not a person who tries things and then doesn't pay). But they insisted that I take a new drink (that they made off menu, for me special) without paying for the discarded one. By the way, there was nothing wrong with the one I tried, it's just I'm really tired of the jalapeño trend and it turned me off with the jalapeño flavor. I had the pretzel and mustard, which again is a huge portion and you'll never be able to finish it unless you have help. I also had the hotdog, made with all the pickle relish, brown mustard, and onion toppings. It was average, but hit the spot and wasn't too heavy. Nothing fancy, but the vibes are IMMACULATE.

It had a pretty raunchy feel with an older crowd, sitting somewhere between a pub and a dive bar. The door was broken and the cups by the water looked dirty. I wouldn't even bother with the popcorn machine... This is all just my observations. The only decent thing this place had going was the cheap drinks. After buying a drink, you're given a 'chip' that can be redeemed for a free one, which is an interesting concept... Still, overall it just wasn't my vibe...

The place is really small with limited seating inside as well as enclosed outdoor seating and tables/stools along the outside. Such a diverse crowd! They have 2 entrances. One the side and the front. It was way too busy inside so we chose to sit in the covered outdoor section. If you do that, be prepared for a lot of smoke and pigeon feathers flying around! We were okay with that! When you order a drink here, you get a wooden token which will get you your next drink free! This happened the entire time we were there. We had a total of 4 drinks each with 2 of them each being free! That will definitely have me coming back for more. There's no other place that does that. No jukebox, but the music they played was decent. Total dive bar atmosphere. Service was fine. Love the free popcorn with fixings station. Fresh hot popcorn with Old Bay is delicious with a nice, cold drink. All you can eat of it, too. Although I saw 1 patron go up 10 times for it! Talk about overkill. They serve hot dogs for a buck as well! Now the bathroom was pretty gross. Hardly any light. Stinky and no place to dry your hands. Did I expect a 4 star bathroom experience here? Absolutely not, but give me a working hand dryer or paper towel please. The shocker of the night was when I closed out my tab. For those 4 drinks we got charged for, it came out to $13.50! Uhh....what?! That's insane. Cheapest happy hour drinks ever. Did I get a headache from the well liquor they used for these drinks? Definitely. Was it worth it for that price. You know it! I'll be back.

Being a dive bar is no excuse to be disrespectful and dishonest with your clients. We were sitting at the bar and ordering all night was a struggle, one person said they couldn't take orders, they would noticed I needed help but ignored me while looking directly to my face, they pretended they couldn't understand us, it was very annoying. I finally was able to ask a guy if I could order from him and he replied "when I'm not busy" rolled his eyes and left. The bar was not crowded and there's no table service at this place. In fact they were so unoccupied that they were just hanging out at the end of the bar with a friend. Not once we were asked if we needed something else or want another round, water was never offered either. When it turned disrespectful and dishonest is when we ordered the check. My husband asked me to check the bill as usual and I realized they charged 2 additional drinks that we didn't order, we asked the bartender to please remove the items but he refused angrily. The guy points at one of our friends who was drinking a beer as if the extra drinks belonged to her trying to justify his mistake, but I remind him she had a different tab that was previously paid. Then he argues that I did had the amount of drinks he was charging. I made a recall of the night and the times that I've ordered he finally agree to remove my extra drink (cider) but not my husband's extra drink (black label) despite that he mentions the amount of drinks he served him and do not match the bill, so we still got charged for one extra unfairly. He goes to the computer and brings the check unmodified, my husband asks me to take a look and mentions it's not modify, as I approach him, the bartender WAVES AT MY FACE with his hand, removing me from the bar because he only wants my husband to talk to him and check the bill, I tell him, that I have the same right to check what's been billed because it's our money, he leaves. He never brings the correct check but tell us that he has "void" one drink but cannot provide an appropriate updated receipt because their manager is not working that night and that's the only person with the power to modify a closed tab. We are forced to signed the voucher of the bill that contain 2 drinks we didn't order. If I had to describe our experience in two words: We were disappointed and scammed. If the refund is not made, we will report this to our bank, but even if it is, we were still forced to pay for one drink we never ordered. Shame on this two guys. They should not be bartenders if they hate their job so much. Based on this experience I would not recommend this place nor I think I'll be visiting again. My advise: CHECK YOUR BILL! They have a $15 minimum payment with card policy, that strategy will not allow you to close out if you are ordering just one drink at the time, once they hold your card they will add anything they want to your tab and will refuse very aggressively to remove it. Do not fall for that trap, pay cash, don't give them the change to do to you, the same they did to us.

Diane's is the newest little girly hot spot in the neighborhood!…read more It's super fresh so it's slowly getting some regulars and it's also a little hidden, all the way down Graham Ave. I popped in with some friends after brunch. The decor is super girly from Dolly Parton book to heart shaped tables and heart shaped straws to pink drinks. I would highly recommend for a bachelorette vibe, ladies night or Galentine's. I ordered the "Bird of Paradise", mezcal, campari, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, spiced pineapple juice and bitters. Reminiscent of a tiki drink. I loved the pink sword, cherry garnish and the heart shaped straw. My friend did the mixture of the two frozen options, the best of both worlds. A little tart with a little sweet. There is also a cute patio. The bartender mentioned possible drag bingo coming up. I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for that. The only food right now is kolaches. Which is a savory type bun with different fillings like spinach artichoke. So something to consider when having a big night out. Seems like people will be ping ponging from Diane's to Rose's R&R Bar and back. Enjoy you crazy kids!
