Lynn and the girls at this place are awesome. They are super friendly, they keep it super clean and they are in a good location. I have been traveling and living out of hotels for the past few months and they have been great about housing my mail and signing for my packages when I am not there. Normally places like this get pissy when you leave boxes for too long. Lynn is very gracious and as a business owner she goes the extra mile. Very handy neighborhood resource for shipping and gift-wrapping needs. They also have a selection of cards and rental mailboxes. Friendly staff and their service is excellent and reliable. Not the cheapest but the convenience more than outweighs the prices. I only wish they stayed open till 6pm for the after-work crowd. read more

What a help to have Post and Parcel in the neighborhood! They are great with our shipping needs, artsy cards, and the (very) occasional notary needs. Twice I went in there recently to return some purchases, and they told me it's probably not worth the shipping (~$40 each time) and that I should drop it off at the store. I am a big supporter of Mom 'n Pop stores, but consumer beware: This place will rip you off! And unfortunately for me, it was by several hundred dollars. It's the holidays and of course I waited until the last minute to ship my presents. I had 2 shopping bags of presents to ship so I took one bag to Post and Parcel near my work, and the other to a Fed-Ex store closer to my house. Both shopping bags were around 15 lbs and both packages were shipped 3-day Fed-Ex. Post and Parcel charged over $200. Fed-Ex Office charged $37. I went back to ask for my money back and to inquire about the HUGE discrepancy in price and the manager laughed at me explaining they charge by the size of the box. So basically, they knew what they were doing when they told me it would be "cheaper" to ship in one box and when I believed them, I was just another sucker in their scam. Bottom line: overpriced, poor customer service, unhappy customer. Never using this store's services again. read more

They charge $0.16 to print a drop off receipt for UPS, really? Talk about nickle and diming you. You think I'll ever use you again for packing/shipping a package when you won't even provide a receipt? Yes, when I hand somebody an item I expect to receive something that states that they received it. You are a full service store, not a drop box. Act like it. read more

Just came in to notarize a document. Three employees in the store - an older lady roaming about, a young guy behind the counter on the phone and a lady behind the other counter chatting amiably with someone who's obviously her acquaintance (not sure if he was a customer). No one says 'Hello' or 'Can I help You?' and despite the fact that a customer has just entered the store and is in plain sight (standing next to chatty lady and her friend, practically) nothing happens. I waited a while, the conversation continued - about what the guy and his kids were going to do at their cabin this weekend - without any acknowledgement that I was there or I needed help. The guy continued to roam the premises on his phone and the other lady went about her business. Not my idea of stellar customer service and a bad first impression. Will not be back. read more

I printed a few documents here off a memory stick. When one file was corrupted they let me go to gmail and download it and did not charge for computer time, just the cost of printing. They'll send things via FedEx or UPS. read more

We have been customer with a post box at Post & Parcel for 10 years and I must say, I have never - IN 10 YEARS - been disappointed with their service. Just today I had a crisis and they quickly (and cheaply IMO) took care of it for me, promptly sending me confirmation and 5 stars on friendliness of staff. I've even been a customer through a change in ownership there and I am, and will remain, a loyal customer. read more

It is high time I update this review from the negative rating I gave years earlier. In just looking today on Yelp for Post & Parcel's telephone number to call about some packages they're doing for me, the first review that pops up is my negative one from 2008, when they were first opened (after so many years - pay attention, Yelp, 2008 on top of all the 2015 stars, really?). So please know that for a long time they have happily been my go-to store for postal/packaging/wrapping etc. Early problems have been totally corrected for a long time, staff is friendly helpful and Lynn the owner always goes the extra mile. read more

Post and Parcel is always super helpful whenever i need something shipped, copies made, a notary, postage, cards, etc. Extremely efficient and nice staff - they always make things easy and are great with helpful suggestions. OMG I love this place, they are friendly and efficient and super fast when I need to just dump a bunch of packages and run, or take the time to walk me through things when I want to slow down and enjoy a butterscotch that they always have around. I have an account with them so everything is as easy as walking in the door to say hi then I just get the bill emailed later. read more
