If you are in Duluth and want great cookies, pastries, or bread - come here. I had an almond croissant that had layers for days with a nice balance of butter pastry crust and almond flavor. A cookie for breakfast dessert as well that had peanut butter, oats, and chocolate all in one. Flatter with a nice crunch edge and a nice moist chewy interior.

Nice causally layout with plenty of seating.

Fantastic little breakfast and lunch spot. Hot and cold healthy drinks, super healthy ingredients and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Super cute bakery in Duluth! Was recommended to us by a friend, and it definitely did not disappoint! The baked goods made for such a yummy breakfast, and the workers were so nice! The only downside is that you have to take the items to go, as there is nowhere to sit.

Lots of butter, crisp and flaky, fresh!!! The fruit cheese danish was the best I've ever tasted. The oatmeal cookie was okay, not a huge amount of flavor. The prices are fair. Duluth is fortunate to have a scratch bakery in its mist.

Partial view to labeled vegan items.

This is a tiny, worker-owned bakery in a residential neighborhood of Duluth. It's worth a visit given its freshness, ample number of vegan options and friendly, anti-establishment ethos. The banookie cookie ($1.85) is tasty and vegan by default. It features subtle hints of banana, but isn't too sweet and tastes great. The skidmark cookie ($1.85) is also vegan and a rich, chocolate-obsessed creation. I loved it. Lastly, the peanut butter rice crispy bar ($2) is vegan and tastes great with nice texture and chewiness. Pizza Luce offers a similar peanut butter chocolate bar, but it's not nearly as good (and it's twice the price). Visit Positively 3rd Street for delicious, cheap and awesome baked goods.

super cute little bakery, and i love their openness on protecting trans kids and other LGBTQ+ matters. i love their gluten free Chocolate Chip Chookies! had them served at my grad party this past year and they were a big hit. the flourless chocolate cake is also incredibly good! (while i'm writing this review however, it wouldn't hurt for them to have more gf options!)

We love Va Bene. The enclosed solarium is perfect with a beautiful view of Lake Superior…read more Try the Peach Bellini, it is a delight. I confess, I almost always order the Gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream sauce. I add shrimp and mushrooms. Little pillows of heaven. Awesome. Next time I am going to order another dish as my husband's choices have been stellar too. And don't skip dessert. The cannelloni is delicious and the gelato amazing too. You can even pick 2 flavors. Service is friendly and fun.

I loved the prosciutto topped with Gorgonzola and fig - it's the best combination. Ian was our server he was awesome, thankfully we were able to get a table today, the last time we went on a whim they were slammed so I highly recommend you make reservations. Our reservation was at 4:30 around 5 they dimmed the lights - setting the vibes, I love that. Great experience!

Best donuts ever…read more Stopped by just after 11 on a Saturday and there were a good number of donuts left, including their banana split donut! Get that. It's unique, it's amazing, and I happen to love bananas. The counter lady told us they have the best cream cheese frosting anywhere. We vote it second best, and that's a really high compliment from my crew. Everything was SO good. Everything. I think I tried 4 types of pastries.

So I got the Apple fritter also as my back up . I asked for a coffee, but they only had drip so I was like yeah this is a special day. No thanks to the coffee. So we weren't feeling too good about what we got from the bakery . We could tell that she really was more of a commercial baker so I really wasn't sure what we're going to get. So I tore a chunk of the apple fritter off, and I was blown away . It was the best apple fritter I've ever had in my entire life. Later that night, I decided to try the maple long John despite the fact that there's custard inside it . It was the best efffing donut I've ever had . I hate custard - but this custard was light and creamy and zero greasy after taste. I will think of these donuts for the rest of my life and all others will fall short.
