This place is really growing on me! I think part of this is the fact that they have regular deals on different food items which make eating here are a great value! You definitely need to join their club! It's counter service, pick up your own food, but they do a really great job! They have kiosks which you can order from... or use their app if you don't want to go to the counter. They seem to have really high-quality food for the price. The burgers are huge, almost enough for two. Onion rings are really good, but no one beats Sonic! The place is well lit, well maintained and always very clean. Outdoor seating available, if you like. Will, absolutely come back and do highly recommend!

Portillo's @portilloshotdogs -- Grapevine, TX Got to try Portillo's Plant Based Garden Dogs made with @fieldroast hot dogs, mustard, relish, celery salt, onions (I prefer grilled), tomatoes, sport peppers, pickle and a poppy seed bun! So delish! & they're open late! #Portillos #Fieldroast #PlantbasedHotdog

Italian Beef with Hot Peppers, Chicago Style Hot Dog, and fries

I've loved Portillo's ever since I first moved to Chicago back in 2001. I became a regular pretty quickly. It was one of those places you just kept going back to because the food was consistently great and it felt like a true Chicago institution. So when Portillo's finally came to Texas, I was thrilled. Let's start with the star of the show...the Italian Beef with hot peppers. It's incredible. Order it dipped and you will be in food heaven. And if you really want the ultimate Chicago move, make it a combo by adding the Maxwell Street sausage. That combination is absolute perfection. Messy, bold, and ridiculously good. Of course, the Chicago-style hot dogs are outstanding too. Just make sure you order it the right way and "drag it through the garden." That means the full lineup of toppings, just like they do in Chicago. It's the real deal. The sides are fantastic as well. The crinkle-cut fries are always solid, and the onion rings are super crispy and addictive. If you're trying to behave a little, the chopped salad is my wife's favorite. It's fresh, loaded with flavor, and honestly one of the best salads you'll get anywhere. And here's the surprise for people who haven't tried it...the hamburger is fantastic. Big, meaty, juicy, and full of flavor. I'll say it plainly. It's better than just about any fast-food or fast-casual burger out there. Bottom line...Portillo's isn't just another restaurant. It's a Chicago legend that delivers every single time. I'm glad Texas finally got the memo.

If you haven't gotten your heart shape chocolate cake yet, grab it now!!!! I tried it yesterday at work and it was so soft, I had to get one today for home.

Italian beef with hot peppers. The meat to bread ratio was way off. Not much beef.

I had some high expectations for Portillo's as my friends in Chicago rave about it but I was honestly a little disappointed. I sent a pic to my Chicago friends and they asked me "where is the beef"? I was expecting a beef filled sandwich but what I received was nothing like what everyone described. I think Potbelly's makes a better beef sandwich and their peppers are even better too. The burger was huge but I feel it lacked seasoning. The best thing we ate was the onion rings which were a 10/10!

Service is a 10/10, I ordered online and picked up quickly. The food was tasty and hot. The only negative experience we had, which I took away a star for, was missing items that I paid extra for but did not receive. Even so we will be back to try other menu items!

Italian beef sandwich, fries in the bag, and cheese for dipping!

Second time here within a week. Great food and nice friendly service! I love e how they call out the number and neat phrases they use to pick up your food. Love the Italian beef sandwich and fries dipped in their delicious cheese! Yummy!

Lunch date with the family and hoping for a like Chicago nostalgia. I need someone to inform these Texas locations that Italian beefs/combinations are adorned with pepperoncinis, NOT sliced Bell pepper. This was possibly my only negative takeaway the ambiance was awesome. Vintage. Service was modern and fast. Kids had bacon cheeseburgers. Wife and daughter came for the cheese sauce. Seriously. They even got some to go. Good time was had by all.

We've driven past Craftway Kitchen more than a few times, always intrigued with a 'we have to try that place sometime'. Saturday night was sometime. Taking our chances as a party of three walk in's, the restaurant was full inside, and there were a few tables open on the patio. I generally don't like to eat on patios, because flies show up, etc. Not at Craftway... not sure what they were doing, but there wasn't a fly or other flying bug around. The patio wasn't just clean, it was meticulous. Welcoming too - It felt very much like an extension of the restaurant. Alex, our waiter was quick to bring water and menus. Returning to take drink orders, a margarita was ordered as was a glass of Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Drinks were quickly served. Water was never allowed to become empty. Alex asked if we had ever been to Craftway, we informed him this was our first visit. His ask "any allergies?" to which we said no. He disappeared, returning with an appetizer sampling plate with three items - the Reuben egg rolls, crab stuffed mushrooms, and blue cheese chips. All were fantastic! Three entrees ordered, the Chicken & Fig sandwich, Chicken Milanese and the Cajun pasta with Chicken. Food arrived; each entree was fantastic. Cooked to perfection, flavors were amazing. Dessert, shared, was a bread pudding with ice cream, a perfect finish. Alex never let beverages become empty, delivered superb service. The Chef circulated the room checking on satisfaction and chatting with patrons. Giving Craftway Kitchen a very well deserved 5-star rating. The staff did everything right! Departing, we talked about what we will order next time. We will be back to Craftway Kitchen!

They have the various different flavored tea. The Decor, cute, and effective. It's like there is a vibe of trying to be a local restaurant yet they are trying to survive in a corporate world. Now me being a T1D foodie means that I seek out meals comprised of meat and vegetables. Being a diabetic foodie is not fun or easy. My number one midday option is salad. If I were ever to be in a position in the restaurant world where I could Influence the menu, I would definitely make a true meal size salad a common option industry wide. In my opinion, ordering a salad isn't secret code for "I really don't want to eat." This is nothing against the original chophouse in particular because I have a hard time finding a salad at any restaurant that hits the spot. Yes, when we left the restaurant, I was still hungry. My wife didn't enjoy her meal very much because there was way too much salad dressing for her liking. The kids enjoyed it, I think. My little boy will eat just about anything. I never know what my daughter's gonna do in the way of ingesting calories. All I can do is offer her food and see what happens. There was nothing extraordinary about this little place. Unfortunately, for any business in Southlake, I seem to put higher expectations on them when I'm in that area. I don't guess that's fair to anyone involved with whatever kind of business transaction I may find myself dealing with while in that part of town. I would definitely go back there, but I would study the menu a bit more in order to find something that is a bit more filling.

My child ordered the "Sneaky Taziki," which ended up being a dried-out chicken breast with cheese in a tortilla, and he barely touched it.
