If you're someone who's comfortable figuring things out as you go, you'll probably love it. If you need a lot of guidance, it could feel a little intimidating. Upon arrival the staff was accommodating and friendly and asked us what type of ride we were looking for. We said some scenic routes, and then some rock crawling. They programmed our route into the gps in the vehicle and it was 100% user friendly. We took the vehicle to the Sand Flats Recreation area and did the 'Find N Things' route. We still had some time to kill so we braved the beginning part of 'Hells Revenge!' I am so glad we did because what an electric time we had!! After this trip, and this amazing time on the 4X4 we have decided to make Moab an annual trip. We will be back & ready to complete the entirety of 'Hells Revenge'!

Epic 4x4 Adventures nailed it from start to finish. We hit some serious traffic with the Easter Jeep Safari in town, but Thor navigated around the congestion like a pro -- pivoting on the fly and actually turning the detour into the highlight of the trip. Baby Lion's Back was my personal favorite: a great climb, an even better descent, and some fun sand berms to cap it off. My kids (11 and 14) were loving every second of it. Thor clearly knows this terrain cold -- he guided us confidently over every obstacle and made sure we always felt safe without sacrificing any of the excitement. My wife occasionally deals with motion sickness and had zero issues, which honestly says a lot about how smoothly he ran the route. If you're in Moab and want a guide who knows when to stick to the plan and when to ditch it for something better -- ask for Thor.

First, their computers went down when we were first there, and they handled it like a pro. You sign waivers, show id, pick out a cup, pick out a helmet, watch a video. Large group of us- always made sure we knew what was happening next, slowed down enough to enjoy the views (and take pics), watch the skilled locals navigate some areas, but also keeping it exciting on our own adventure. You first drive in a line to the course (Hells Revenge- and get some history), complete a practice course, then drive into the real deal. Kyle is knowledgeable of the area and has awesome driving skills. Made it super fun! He put my mind at ease and has created a new passion for me. I cannot wait to hit more trails and UTV rock climb. We were going to rent our own side by side and find our way around but following a guide was a great experience. Even if you have ATV/UTV knowledge, you don't know the course or direction. It made it nice to watch Aaron navigate through an area and know we could do it too. I would definitely wear a face buff for the sand. Goggles and water are supplied free of charge. You start off in town at their shop and drive through town to the course. Would highly recommend!

I've rented UTVs in Moab several times over the years, including guided tours, private tours, and self rentals, so I have a good baseline for comparison. The main advantage of this place is the price. It was noticeably lower than other rental companies in town, which is ultimately why I chose it. However, in this case, you do get what you pay for. I rented a 4 door Polaris for a full day, and the vehicle quality was significantly below what I've experienced elsewhere in Moab. The suspension felt very rough. You could feel every bump and rock, which made the ride uncomfortable and at times left us feeling sore and even a bit nauseous. Trails that are typically enjoyable, like Fins n Things, felt much harsher than they should. In comparison, other UTVs I've rented handled similar terrain much more smoothly. This vehicle also appeared to have worn tires and needed an alignment. Another factor to consider is the location. The shop is about 15 minutes south of downtown Moab. While that may not sound like much, it does add up, especially if you are paying by the hour. More importantly, you have to drive on a public highway to get into town, and the vehicles do not have windshields. That stretch can be extremely cold and very windy, which made the ride back and forth pretty uncomfortable. Overall, this could be a fit if your top priority is saving money and you are okay with a more basic experience. But if comfort, vehicle quality, and overall experience are important to you, there are better options in Moab worth considering.
