Pre-Dealership Experience: First and foremost, I hate going to a dealership! Especially to a luxury dealership, so I try to do as much preparation as I can before heading down there. Porsche Annapolis, which was about two hours away from me, had a vehicle I was interested in. I called ahead to gather as much information as possible. The first person who answered was Joe (also known as the "Italian Stallion"), who I didn't know at the time was the manager. I asked him some questions about the car that I couldn't find on their website, and we ended up having a very pleasant conversation. I told him I'd be visiting on Friday to take a look. At the Dealership: I actually didn't make it there until Saturday, but when I did, I had the pleasure of working with Charlie (the salesman) and Danny Pena (Finance Guru). Both were incredibly professional, engaging, personable, and down-to-earth. I didn't feel pressured or cheated, nor did I have to haggle back and forth to get the best rate. Finance Process: Danny wasn't one of those finance guys who just gives you a rate at the first bite. He got me a rate that I was happy with, and even said he was waiting to hear back after the weekend to see if he could get me an even better one. And he didn't disappoint! Customer Service: The entire staff was wonderful, especially toward my children. Various employees offered them snacks and drinks. One lady -apologies for not knowing her name(tall, blonde, with short hair) even joked, saying, "All the good snacks were probably eaten, but if you open the drawer, there's more--it made the wait process so much shorter when your kids are taken care of. My son, by the way, rated their snack and drink selection a solid 10 out of 10 (his words, not mine!). If you're looking for a luxury buying experience, I'd advise you to avoid Porsche Annapolis. -Traded in a vehicle and 30 days later they haven't paid my positive equity (Was told that they've already sold my trade in) -30 days in and still no key to the glove compartment and no update -The vehicle review/onboarding was poor and definitely not what you'd expect from a luxury brand -Zero follow up to my concerns -Multiple requests after the purchase to sign additional paperwork It's a shame that the Porsche brand is associated with this dealership. read more

The manager, Benjamin and service manager, Robert took advantage of a 78 yr old man that has been hospitalized multiple times and in rehabs. This gentleman is a senior citizen who happens to be a veteran and they took advantage of him by completing over $10,000 worth the work then making him buy his car back for over $16,900 and his car is not worth the total paid. I was in touch with the repeatedly throughout the course of this man's illness and they acted like they cared. I sent a check for the amount owed for repairs and the dealership said it bounced but the bank it was written on denies it. I sent a cashiers check and they sat on it for over a month while they filed a mechanics lien. The customer in question is bedridden and not aware but they called him for permission to buy back his car. Please steer clear of this dealership and their underhanded ways. It's horrible that they took advantage of a senior citizen that served his country. read more

Issues: Jazib Waseem had no idea what he was doing in the sales process at all. He told me he was only with the dealership for 10 days prior to meeting me. When it came to me having any questions at all he had to go and ask someone else, this included questions about the features and buttons of the vehicle. What grinded my gears about this is that he knew I was driving all the way from Ohio to purchase this vehicle. His lack of knowledge of the Macan that he wanted to sell me showed me nothing but pure incompetence. I don't understand why he didn't take a few hours to familiarize his self with the vehicle so that he would be confident in what he was doing. Upon returning home I had to visit my local Porsche dealership so they could walk me through my vehicle. While having discussions regarding my trade in it was indicated that the vehicle could be delivered to me in Ohio and they pick up my trade in. I was elated with that option because I would not have to drive 6 plus hours. Then I receive a phone call from Jazib to inform me that he was told that was no longer an option because it was not cost effective for the sale. I was upset because why was it even offered if it wasn't an option? He then informed me that he was told that it wasn't an option by Katherine Higuera. She then called and informed me that if I wanted this as an option there would be no negotiations regarding the purchase price. At this point I am frustrated because I have spent days going back and forth with documents and financing options just to be told that what was offered would now be taken off the table. At that point I really should have walked away and not purchased at all from this dealership. My dealings with Danny Pena seemed to be fairly pleasant initially, but that went south when I started to receive texts and calls regarding documents that he didn't process properly or have me sign. Then it became an aggravating situation of please send these documents back express mail so that the paperwork could be corrected. I then found that on my documents that the vehicle wasn't being listed as Certified Pre-Owned on certain forms. Another thing that had to be corrected. After returning home with the vehicle I notice that I have no caps on the tire air nozzles, a friend sat in the passenger seat and found a human hairball in the side seat crease. I sent a text to Jazib because I was immensely upset. Katherine contacted to me explain that she would pay for a detail. By this time, I am just disgusted with everything that has happened thus far. How do you sell a luxury vehicle without detailing it? To add insult to injury the back-seat arm rest has red stains in it that are not coming out of the leather. At this point I have absolutely no recourse in regards to price, no one is going to pay for the leather repair and I'm stuck with the damage to a 2024 Macan. I have inserted photos. Also, it never dawned on me to pull down the backseat armrest when looking at the vehicle, who would think to even do that?!?!?! Next issue and most important of them all is there is an issue with the title. The bank cannot find it in any search database they have. Per their records the vehicle has never been titled. Who has the title, who was the previous owner, did the dealership do the proper research on the vehicle during the buyback or trade from the previous owner? I'm going to say of course not because if they did Chase bank would be able to process the title request to the state of Ohio so I can get my tags and registration. Now I have to go to my state bring extra paperwork so that I can have a temporary tag until the title search can be completed. This is an absolute inconvenience that's actually turning into a nightmare. I have purchased vehicles for over 20 years and never in my life have I encountered such incompetence on so many levels in my life. The ball was dropped by every single person I met at this dealership and I can assure you that my google review and the email I send to Porsche corporate will reflect every bit of this as well. -KG read more

I just took delivery today on a new Macan, and it was far-and-away the BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE I've ever had. I knew exactly what I wanted and have the flexibility to search all along the east coast for it. I spoke with 3 dealers and ultimately chose to work with Mark Madden at this Annapolis dealer. Very specifically: he is professional, balancing the urgency (for lack of inventory), WITHOUT any of the high pressure sales tactics. He is straightforward, knows his product inside and out. He presented options with a clear and casual (yet clearly conveying value) with a take-or-leave conversation. It was excellent. As a woman who has received plenty of "mansplaining" about cars (unnecessarily), Mark and his colleagues (Danny) displayed NONE of that. I also requested this transaction from afar so we did all the correspondence via email and phone. Mark took the time out of his day to drive the car to meet me. We signed documents on the dashboard and did the FULL walk around in 15 minutes. My husband was so impressed with the process, he's considering buying a car at Porsche Annapolis. Great experience with the dealer. Would recommend it to anyone. They have other vehicles than Porsche, so check out their inventory. We were still contemplating to purchase a new vehicle when we walked into the dealer. Mark Madden sat down with us and his professionalism and courtesy closed the deal. He is not a pushover, nor is he the type of person who will pressure you to buy the car. On the first day of the visit, we walked away, needing a bit more time to think if this is the car we needed. Mark told us to sleep on it and get back to him - usually, the sales would do anything and everything to make sure we don't walk away. I had a very good experience buying a low mileage Taycan GTS ST from these guys. The car was in excellent shape, there were even a few extra goodies like clear bra and footwell protectors. The transaction was smooth and they did their best to fill me in the new experience of owning an electric vehicle. This shop is as good as it gets. Yesterday I was hit my an unlicensed illegal and had potential damage to my exhaust. Honestly, I looked forward to the day that I would be writing a five-star review for this establishment. My relationship with Brett and staff goes back to 2015 when I first visited the dealership with dreams of purchasing my dream vehicle. The staff was warm, accommodating, and very knowledgeable about their products. I walked away knowing more about their luxury line of vehicles than ever before. Over the next few years, I visited the dealership looking forward to purchasing a vehicle for my family. Each time, they showed that I was valued and gave me time to make a selection. I established a close relationship with one of the salesmen, Charles Hutchinson. While pushing me to get started with the process, he understood that I was in the middle of purchasing a home and agreed that yes, purchasing the home first would be the top priority. This past summer I visited once again and told him I was ready yet I had a few reservations about making a purchase. I asked him questions regarding price and credit requirements that would be needed to make sure this was a smooth transaction. I had asked this question a number of times, because it was a concern of mine, to which the answer was always something similar to, "Don't worry about it. We'll make it happen." I took their word for it. Why wouldn't I? We'd been communicating for years now and I know he had my best interest in mind. So I decided to take his advice and build my dream vehicle on their site. After creating and submitting the build, my family visited the dealership to move forward. I asked again about what was needed. Do I have to fill out any information now? Do we start the pre-approval? How much do I put down? We agreed on an amount for down-payment but no other paperwork was filled out. I even selected the Atlanta Delivery option. My family was looking forward to flying down, enjoying the Porsche experience, and driving the vehicle back to Maryland. Even my family in Mississippi were ready to join and made accommodations to meet us there. TWO WEEKS before the scheduled pick-up date, I am asked by Charles to fill out the loan application. After submitting my information, I was told I was denied for the vehicle. At first, I'm fine because I thought back to the words Brett & company told me, "don't worry, we'll make it happen." Oddly after this denial, the great communication I had with the staff before ceased. I was told that Danny from finance would reach out to me. His call came days later. Once I spoke with Danny, I gave him as much information as I could and he said that he would speak with Brett and have him give me a call. This was four weeks ago and until this day I've never received a call from Brett. I'm sure he's a busy guy, great guy yet busy. I truly understand. Those weekly calls from Charles, you guessed it, stopped. It has been weeks since the deal was terminated and I've yet to receive the down-payment that was given for the vehicle. Not only that, I will not get back the $1,000s spent for family members on flights and hotel stays that were booked in preparation for this delivery. I think back on this disaster and my only thought is that it all could have been avoided if I knew exactly what was needed before going forward with the purchase. I had a feeling that it couldn't have been so easy just to 'build your car and pick it up' at Porsche yet these guys were my friends, they were knowledgeable, and if they said don't worry, who was I to ask even more questions. This experiment has truly left a bad taste in my mouth. Not for Porsche but for the Annapolis dealership. I trust you all have a better experience than I did on pursuing your dream vehicle. read more

The NoVa dealers have a high income group - - they buy loaded models, and dealers laugh when you try to negotiate price. When they drain the swamp, they'll find a lot of people on both sides making money off the government. Wanted a Cayman as a 911 with private high school (and follow-up private college) was not a good use of family money. The NoVa dealers were a dead end -- floor inventory were too loaded, won't talk price, etc. Using Costco, Silver Spring Porsche was good on price, but only from their inventory. Went to Annapolis, and they approximated the Costco price and ordered a car to our specs. Graeme Reeves was our sales guy so like to give a shout-out for him. We came across as serious buyers, so it didn't make sense for the dealer to push back. Annapolis is a smaller dealer, so they probably wouldn't walk from a no-loss deal to have more volume. During car pick up, you still have to run the gauntlet with another salesperson on Porsche/dealer plans -- wheel & tire coverage, maintenance, etc. They're not bad plans, but it's a 50-50 outcome, so even if you use it, the deal is just that you pre-paid. For us, we declined the plans but are prepared to spend the bucks when something happens. These plans are no deal, just a convenience. When done with private school, will be back for a proper 911 (all 2017 models are turbos, though when normal aspiration is classic). read more

I took my car for service 10 days ago for routine maintenance and to this day I have not received the records for the work done. I talked to the Service Advisor that originally took my car in for service and then to another one and nothing happened. I even replied to the courtesy follow up email for customer service and nothing. The main reason I took my car to the dealer was to have records of the work done instead of doing it myself in my garage. Terrible service experience with my 2002 Carrera. I had a 9:30 AM appointment for a simple oil change and air filter replacement while I waited. Shouldn't take too long. My car never got to the rack until 11:30 AM...then lunch break...then the $3500 laundry list of other things my car needed because of its age. As a garage queen my car only has 25k miles on it. So I tuned down the extra work...Waited some more and finally got my car back 5 hours after I brought it in. Just attempted to finally purchase a Porsche Macan at this dealearship. We arrived at3:30pm and noticed a salesperson assisting another couple into their new car. We also noticed other customers inside being assisted. When we attempted to enter, the automatic doors did not open. So we stood aside and waited patiently for the salesperson to finish. Interestingly enough, upon watching the salesperson completing his conversation with his customers he proceeded to walk away without asking if we needed any help. Someone else arrived and asked were they open and we overheard the salesperson inform them, they closed over an hour ago. I find this extremely rude and disrespectful especially since my husband and I stood there patiently for assistance and was there to make the purchase of my new Porsche. Subsequently, I just called to determine their closing time and was told they were "just closing" (3:43pm). Please note, early closing hours were not posted on ANY Of the entrances.
