We absolutely love this spot! The service has always been great and they are very kind! Food is delicious as well, great sized portion too! The ambience has a real "home" feel to it. Highly recommend the Steak-Egg-Cheese sandwich!!

Disgusting. This (the meat is supposed to be steak) and coffee cost $11. They don't accept cards and I could hear the staff making sexual innuendos about masks. The eggs were fine. I tried the hash brown thinking it was safe because it's obviously frozen but it tasted like nothing but grease. I didn't touch the "steak."

Definitely a local hangout. The conversations amongst the regulars were great. The waitress was fabulous and very friendly.

Overpriced. Very small portions of breakfast at a high end restaurant price. Food is mediocre.

All our meals were so good, everything made from scratch (even the ketchup), they made breakfast sandwiches outstanding! We drove an hour to meet my son, and we said we can't wait to come back. It was between here and Home and I had been there before so we came here. It's the old Tiki bar across from the Mexican place. Same as tiki bar...small place. Not many tables and it was freezing inside so we moved out to the patio. Not much warmer....Whatsoever. There were doors open that didn't close properly and it was pouring outside. I said to myself it is what it is. Ordered the Insalada di Roma to start. Eh. Overpowering garlic taste. Got the lobster roll and man got the Thai Fighter Burger. My lobster was tasty as all lobster is. I can't do gluten and they don't offer gluten free buns so I just ate the lobster meat and fries. The butter on the lobster was very different. Thick. Corn buerre blanc sauce. I still don't know how I feel about it but to me lobster doesn't need a thick sauce on it. Also, it said MP on the menu upon arrival but online one menu said $34 and their actual website said $40. It was $52 tonight. Are you EFFING KIDDING ME?! Never in my life have I seen a lobster roll be $52. This place has no business charging that. We go out to eat all the time to very nice places and have never paid that. It wasn't even a large roll!!! Average. I went to use the bathroom and it had an Out of order sign on the door. I had to go so I used it anyway. Door didn't shut. Prayed no one would try to come in. My hair stinks hours later of fried food. Gross. For almost $200...would not come back.

Sitting by the water gives the restaurant a laid back, summer seafood spot feel that makes it easy to enjoy your time there. That said, if you're looking for a restaurant with a wide variety of seafood options or more creative seafood preparations, this probably isn't the place to go. We started with the chips and guacamole appetizer, which tasted good, but the portion size was pretty small for the price. The raw little neck clams were one of the highlights of the meal, very fresh, clean tasting, and exactly what you'd want from a seafood spot. For entrées, the cod sandwich was surprisingly solid. It was a nice size, fairly priced, and felt like one of the better values on the menu. The ahi tuna wrap was also good overall, but it felt like it was missing a stronger or more flavorful dressing to really bring everything together. The lobster roll was decent, but for the price, there simply wasn't enough lobster in it to justify the cost. Overall, there were definitely some enjoyable parts of the meal, especially the fresh shellfish and the waterfront atmosphere. The biggest downside was the pacing of service, as there were long waits between dishes throughout the meal. Still, for a casual waterfront stop with straightforward seafood options, Nellie's delivers a decent experience.
