What a charming old-fashioned diner! It's cash only, but the warm and friendly service makes it worth it. I really enjoyed my western omelette; it was quite tasty! I'll definitely be back for more of the delicious food and great service.

Good place for breakfast! The food was like home cooking good! I appreciate things that are freshly made. My eyes are always bigger than my stomach for breakfast lol. I started with the low carb breakfast which is 3 eggs and a meat. I chose bacon, which was crisp and delicious. I also had short stack of apple pancakes, which were 2 large filling yummy pancakes. I was expecting an apple compote or something on top, but the chef diced a fresh apple and put it in the pancake! Yumm. With that, then came the disappointment, which was the syrup. Each table had a bottle of Great Value (Wal-Mart brand) syrup, so I just used it... I mean sub-par syrup for really good pancakes? What I didn't know, until I was almost done and saw another table do it, was that you can purchase the good stuff (real maple syrup) for $1. I really wish they would just add the $1 to the price and give you a bottle of the good stuff. Save the Great Value for if you need/want more syrup and are too cheap to purchase it. That whole cheap syrup thing was such a turn-off from this place. Mixed feelings about the service. For the most part It was pretty good. I guess you can say two ppl were waiting on us. 1 started, another 1 finished. I think the first person got slightly annoyed because we took too long to order. And something I noticed is that it was not customary to check on their guests during the meal (every table, not just ours.) I had wanted to purchase another drink, but that never happened. Thinking about it (and being a first time diner) someone could have even offered for me to purchase the real maple syrup, I would have gladly bought 2 or more smh Love the small town slightly vintage feel of this place, but The decor can use a little freshening up. It's all in the details. Stuff like our table and syrup bottle being a little sticky didn't sit well. I think my bench had a tear in it or was just wearing out. But Loved the look of the outdoor seating area, even though we didn't eat outside, That part was it's own vibe! BTW: It's cash only. So I'm glad I just happened to have cash on me that day Also, Menu clearly states no substitutions, but it's nicely put together and easy to understand. The food is a definitely a great value, but they really didn't have to take that to heart by using "Great Value" syrup... What I ate was great! They have a really good cook/chef and the food (minus the syrup) was the only part of this experience where Breakfast Connections did not fall short...

Mate and I wanted to try a new recipe lace for breakfast. We stumbled upon Breakfast Connections and I'm glad we did. It was continuously full though no line. We waited maybe 4 minutes for our table. The staff were all smiling and busy ensuring everyone was enjoying their breakfast. We ordered omelette , I a spinach and cheese, Mate a Western. The eggs must have been whipped. They were soo fluffy and good. Left there full. They do have breakfast specials up on the bulletin board. Will have to go back and try the stuffed French toast. Fun homey place. Lots of locals.

Was starving on our trip from Long Island to Mohegan Sun and found this place thru Yelp. Only a mile off the exit and easy to find, we were lucky to snag a parking spot out front. When we entered, it was apparent that we were out of towners because everyone there (besides employees) was a local and over the age of 65! We sat in a booth and took in the scenery. The place needs a makeover desperately. The coffee was only ok, not much flavor but the veggie omelette was delicious! Pancakes were gummy and not fluffy. The price was right and it's Cash only. Food served on recycled paper plates, sides served in paper boats. Nobody checked up on us. Nothing to write home about

Dependable, standard breakfast diner food. I love Scotty's Benedict. It is a real step into local coastal culture--there is almost always a line on the weekends.

Little local dive breakfast spot. Taped up seats - you know the type I'm talking about. Nothing special and be sure you bring cash.

It was between here and Home and I had been there before so we came here. It's the old Tiki bar across from the Mexican place. Same as tiki bar...small place. Not many tables and it was freezing inside so we moved out to the patio. Not much warmer....Whatsoever. There were doors open that didn't close properly and it was pouring outside. I said to myself it is what it is. Ordered the Insalada di Roma to start. Eh. Overpowering garlic taste. Got the lobster roll and man got the Thai Fighter Burger. My lobster was tasty as all lobster is. I can't do gluten and they don't offer gluten free buns so I just ate the lobster meat and fries. The butter on the lobster was very different. Thick. Corn buerre blanc sauce. I still don't know how I feel about it but to me lobster doesn't need a thick sauce on it. Also, it said MP on the menu upon arrival but online one menu said $34 and their actual website said $40. It was $52 tonight. Are you EFFING KIDDING ME?! Never in my life have I seen a lobster roll be $52. This place has no business charging that. We go out to eat all the time to very nice places and have never paid that. It wasn't even a large roll!!! Average. I went to use the bathroom and it had an Out of order sign on the door. I had to go so I used it anyway. Door didn't shut. Prayed no one would try to come in. My hair stinks hours later of fried food. Gross. For almost $200...would not come back.

I originally planned to sit at the bar since I was dining solo, but it was packed for happy hour (always a good sign). I ended up in the dining room instead, and honestly, it worked out great. Service was quick and attentive from the start. My server, Christina, checked in on me several times without being overbearing, and I really appreciated how often my water was refilled especially since I skipped alcohol this visit. For food, I went all in: a dozen oysters, bang bang shrimp bao buns, and salmon sushi rolls. I finished with the crème brûlée cheesecake (which I already knew I loved from their sister restaurant). Standouts for me were the oysters, the bao buns, and that cheesecake absolutely delicious. The sushi rolls were fresh and flavorful, just a bit oversized for that perfect bite. Overall, a great experience with solid food and attentive service. I'll definitely be back maybe next time I'll snag a bar seat!
